  1. There are some songs too, like the ones in the vids Boomstick posted. I love it personally.
  2. Edit: And Welsh got there before me.
  3. How the hell do you find these things...
  4. I think the developers had in mind that people would want to play through this several times choosing different things. Considering there are 7 different endings I know I certainly will. Probably aim for 3 or 4 times which will certainly add up to more than the 10-12 hours of Homecoming. Anyway. Homecoming was crap.
  5. Personally I play without any lights on whatsoever and the headphones on. But it's a matter of preference really and what works best for you. The lights distract me.
  6. I'd likely get an XBLA release of the original as it was one of the few great games I never played on the N64. As for this, I'd rather see the cartridge and a video than a few stills. It could just as easily be homemade.
  7. MadWorld The last level, just for the sake of who the final boss was. No More Heroes The opening level for being so in your face and the fight with Shinobu are embedded in my mind. Silent Hill: Shattered Memories Any of the chase scenes
  8. Yes, it's just another form of advertising. And it's just further proof of these publishers putting the blame on Nintendo when they haven't made the effort to sell their products in the first place. Ridicuous.
  9. I'd settle for this to be honest.
  10. Thinking back to when you said I'm thinking how Konami would go about getting a new composer for whatever game is next in the series. I mean if there's one name you associate with Silent Hill it's Yamaoka, and knowing he wouldn't be involved would certainly feel odd when listening to the music. I know it's possible but it will be a massive challenge for someone else to even contemplate replacing him. I say this because the Silent Hill games are some of the only I've bought the soundtracks of. Edit: Wow. Even the credits were brilliant. The ending I got was phenomenal. Great finish and almost had me tearing up. Almost.
  11. Those screens look gorgeous. I wasn't really bothered about this before. I thought "Oh a scaled-down port of a game based on a film that's based on a game, sounds fab..." but knowing this is a completely seperate experience from both the film and HD games changes everything. Give me gameplay videos.
  12. I'm really interested in going through this a second time round and seeing how different the game will be. I gave this a go last night thinking "Oh it's okay, when I played it before I wasn't expecting the horror to be quite so strong so I'll be ready for it this time." But then...
  13. Excuse my stupidity, but what's the racing game at 2:00?
  14. So far, so terrifying. I won't spoil anything so I'll just say it's the attention to detail which really brings this to life. What really disturbs me (second to the horrifying chase scenes of course) are some of the back stories you come across. There's one you can find out about in the woods part of the game which I could have really done without knowing. Not overly gross or anything like ghost stories. Just ones that have a very real tone to them that make them so believable and more disturbing than any monster. I'm also very weary of exploring anything other than what I think I'm supposed to. It often seems to lead me to even more trouble...
  15. Racist much?
  16. It did but I'm waiting til everyone is asleep to play. Probably post impressions in the early hours of the morning. It's been like this with a few non-Konami games too recently hasn't it? Or maybe that's just me.
  17. You're obsessed.
  18. So glad it's free online. I probably wouldn't have bothered with it otherwise but this makes it a Day 1 purchase now.
  19. Well I'm actually really happy about the Monster Hunter Tri free online confirmation for NA. I just hope that we get the same deal.
  20. Just got my email from ShopTo that's it'd been sent off
  21. It's the guy with the cane! He seems too cool to work for Ubisoft. Watching this definitely convinces you that this is going to be a great game and that the multiplayer was not implemented because of wanting to keep a high level of quality rather than laziness.
  22. The fact that we're getting games such as Silent Hill, NMH2, Sky Crawlers, Monster Hunter Tri, Red Steel 2 and Fragile Dreams before June, all off which are going to be amazing experiences, the fact that we've already had the pleasure of TvC and The Crystal Bearers and the idea that they might release something in between the summer and Zelda's likley November/December release (S&P2?) just makes this a completely overwhelming year and one of the greatest in a long time. When people refer to the Wii being at its peak in years time, this will be what they mean.
  23. I feel spoiled already.
