*high fives the high five* Technically I run 2 1680x1050 but when I had my über long wallpaper I was 3360x1050. These two 22s are awesome, but I silently wish I went with 24s.

Grandmothers birthday today we went to a restauant and I had a pretty awesome pizza. It was simple; chicken, sweetcorn and pepper, but jeez was it nice. Juicy and soft. Just the way I like them. Other than that I was doing more reading and looking up info this morning. Pretty much decided on what I want. I'm awesome.

Today work. I started on a new workbook which is pretty cool so I shall be spending some time with it. Get me up and learning in time for Decemeber. Did a lot of reading this morning on a certain topic. It's weird how much time I was reading, not a lot of time really past, and so I got some good info in a short amount of time. Win.

I really like the song they did for FMA. I see there's a ltd edition with a DVD, but it doesn't have the FMA cover. I might get that. The latest Naruto was pretty awesome. But it was obvious it would be pretty cool because of the lines. All of the lines were super thin and the colouring was really light. The preview for next episode you can see it goes back to the hard lined darker tones of colours. It's just a shame there aren't more episodes like that. I'll stick to Testuwan Birdy Decode for that I guess.

I really like the Mass Effect helmet you can buy for your Avatar. It's a shame I just haven't played the game far enough to get properly into it. Anyone else read about all these Madcatz preripherals for Modern Warfare 2? I like the sound of the two extra buttons on the back of the controller, aswell as the throat microphones.

It's been an uneventful few days. One of the regulars told me something I thought was pretty funny. A Christening Party (or a Birthday party, or a any sort of party) isn't a party unless there's a fight. Looking back at the times I've worked, this is very true. I was wondering if anyone could help me. Halifax charge £1.50 if you pay for anything abroad; dollars or yen, etc. And being who I am I buy a lot of stuff in yen. I was wondering if anyone knew a way to get around this that doesn't involve paypal? This website doesn't accept paypal and I'm looking at becoming a regular customer because they're a pretty good website. But the large sums of money that goes to the website, getting hit by Customs and then Halifax deciding to take £1.50 isn't very... nice.

I'm not a thread starter. I wasn't in my previous life and I don't like doing it but this piqued my interest. What are you like with promises? Either you asking someone to do something for you, or they ask you to do something for them. I go by a silent promise that if someone asks me to do something I'll help them right away or as close to the time they asked as possible, and I'll try to not forget that they asked me to do it. I take pride in this. However whenever I ask someone to do something for me, it always ends in failure or annoyance. The earliest I remember, and most embarrasing and annoying to bring up, it the time when I asked a bunch of friends out for my birthday and one showed up. It annoys me to this day. Alas. Nowadays I never ask anyone to do things like this because I don't really expect anyone to keep to their word anymore. Other occasions are when I ask someone to be somewhere at a certain time just to pick you up and drive you somewhere and then they're late, even though you know they're not doing anything that important that holds them up. (This is why I don't start topics, walls of text) So where do you stand. Do you like to make empty promises? Do you like to always leave someone knowing you're a prick? Or do you like to keep to your word?

I love you can combine things together. Quite a few times though I've totally forgotten that you can shoot a load of foam and then stick a grenade in it if you need to get through places above you which needs a grenade. That's the only way you can get back to the purple bit on the right after you've completed the game.

The story needs an end yet! There's no telling what things may arise in the meantime. I'd love for there to be a final battle, with pretty much everyone fighting at the same time. I can just picture it. Raining_again: It's been a chore for me to watch 07 Ghost up to now. I'm just hoping for something to happen because it's too late to drop it. I don't see how you can say it's any good... For recommendations, Shagri La is quite good. Bakemonogatari is one of the best shows this season, and then there's CANAAN which I haven't started just yet. But they're this seasons and have yet to finish. For completed anime maybe Asura Cryin', Baccano, GTO, Eden of the East, Utawarerumono, oh there's Tears to Tiara which is still ongoing, but it's really good.

I've not watched the latest episode but I could tell the new Bleach filler would be interesting. I enjoy waiting for the next episode. Which reminds me I missed a chapter of FullMetal Alchemist which I read only a few days ago. Next is the 100th chapter I believe so here's hoping for something even more epic than what we've already been given.

Completed it earlier today, only had about 50% upgrades though. It saves just before the final fight which is good so I'm now going back and picking up everything I missed. It's a thoroughly enjoyable game. I thought the dialogue was cheesy at times, but overall it was an awesome game. I only managed to pick up one of the extra powerups before the end fight so I can't wait to see what the other powerups give.

Maybe I'm imagining, but I think I read that they gave the same script and whatnot to a bunch of different teams. Thus, a load of different teams had their own ideas and approach on the matter of the Endless Eight arc. It would seem logical. If the same people animated the same things 8 times, or was it 9 I forgot, in a row there'd be more than Aya Hirano and the former president dude saying sorry/it was hell. Or maybe they wouldn't say anything to keep their jobs..

For that price yes. Isn't the PS3 coming down in price in September? To about 250? Wait the new one is that price. You might be able to get an old Ps3 for about 200 then? Hang on, a PS3 is gonna be costing the same price as a PSP Go... what the hell.

I know, but I can't be bothered to change. Hassle of moving then, not sure if true, having to change the card details on all of the websites I buy stuff from... tis a lot. Day = working out money troubles. Figured out how much a week I have to spend at Uni. Also yesterday made a big promise to myself. Come this December I shall hopefully have done something useful in my life.

So yah, my CD arrived today. Ordered it on the 12th, so it took a week to get here. Not bad I think. Some pictures of what look like a second Berserk anime are up on the internet. I enjoyed the first somewhat, I didn't think it was great though. The newest FMA episode was pretty damn awesome aswell. Hohenheim speaks, Ed discovers something important, and Winry's words right at the end brought tears. I'm falling in love with the series again after a rough start.

Hopefully Fable 2 was just something please the Fable fans and Fable 3 is something original and much better than 2. Hopefully.

You know what'd be great. The same currency across the world. So that I won't get charged 1.50 just for Halifax to convert an already large sum of money into a different currency. Basterds. Other than now being charged an extra 1.50 I woke up only an hour and a half ago. I shall be trotting off to work in a few minutes.

Being on a Games Design course I would have loved to have helped. But after so many years of gaming my passion has wavered and my ideas lost. Right now I can't even think of anything good enough for my course. I'm rooting for you though. Make it a good'n. (PS, no offence but that looks like something really rude coming out of that guys mouth)

With the trophies, people already know what they are. They know what bronze, silver, gold and platinum are. Through years of use we know them as highliy valuable metals (some of them) and also we associate them when people win things, because their worth relates to how good someone is at something. People who're saying trophies are better are saying so because they can relate it to something already, whereas a simple number, which can go on for infinity, is harder to feel like it's worth something. Getting that Platinum trophy can give you the exact same feeling as watching the little pop up say you've just unlocked the last achievement in the game. Trophies and Gamerscore are the same thing, neither is better than the other. Both are a measure of how long you play games, and in some cases how good you are at them (Mile High Club achievement Yus!).
