There you go, seems pretty balanced to me. Unless of course the number 1 can get alot of coins straight away, which was one of my gripes in Mario Kart 7, especially in Koopa City. Some courses only have one row of coins which is easy to get for the number 1 leaving nothing behind for those behind him. This would lead to the number one getting an early lead and most of the rest just trippin' over eachother constantly.

Don't the players at the back start with way more coins than the number 1 like in Mario Kart 7?

I still have this feeling that Professor Layton will be a playable character. He's a big part of NINTENDO's history by now, bringing people together throughout the entire DS era and beyond to enjoy quirky puzzles, Japan's take on Europe/Britain and a cup o' tea I would be shocked if there isn't at least a stage or an item related to the series in it.

I'm just making my E3 Bingo Card for NINTENDO's Digital Event and when it comes to The Legend of Zelda, does anyone here think Link might be female this time around? I believe I read a quote somewhere from Aonuma in which he was being really vague about the sex of Link and Zelda and it got me thinking that the roles may change: Link will be a girl somewhere on the outskirts of the land and Zelda could be a noble prince. Sounds pretty weird, and the more I think about it the more improbable it sounds. As others have pointed out, Link has been send on the androgynous route more and more in his 3D outings.

Is it always 100cc? I thought the game takes into account your player score online, so I'f you'd be racing with a lot of people who'd have a high score it would make it 150cc.

Aren't disconnects pretty common when a game has just launched and sold really well? I'm dying with curiosity as to what the game is like after reading these impressions.

What did we get with Skyward Sword? Twilight Symphony is a re-imagining of practically all the tracks of Twilight Princess by avid fans, it's not made by NINTENDO.

Same here, I would love too though, but I never really got around to it. This trilogy has been noted on the ol' backlog list.

Definitely the Wii-Mote and Nunchuck combo. Not other controller ever lets you have the freedom to put your hands wherever you want when playing a game. pardon the pic but you get the point Everything else has felt like a step back to me. Though the GameCube controller reigns supreme for me when it comes to lame two-hands-on-one-controller controller.

Hmmmm, I guess I shot myself in the foot by ordering it at the cheap price of 44 euros... ...on a site which has me waiting 4-15 days for it. Oh well, plenty of time to finish up other games, I guess.

As I've said before, I wouldn't and it wouldn't be in line with the NINTENDO spirit. I know people would settle with GX, HD and 32 players online, but would that really be doing the franchise and its amazing legacy justice? Have GX function as a starting point from which you flesh out every character and their back story/world more and you've got yourself a priced bovine! Let some developer get creative with it and add something new to the franchise as well, like space 360 degrees racing when the track launches you into the stratosphere of the planet where you're racing, leading you through thunderclouds and other space anomalies. I want that world so fleshed out you can literally see the space-hams floating in the sky.

If NINTENDO gives us an F-Zero which can rival GX in terms of greatness, I will forever hold them dear to my heart... Ah, who am I kidding, I already do. BUT I WANT ME A NEW F-ZERO!
