i know i just wanted to point it out what you've all said basically is that it runs on a different type of software and that it has a good memory. that doesnt seem worth the money.

I reckon someone should make a Quote of the Day thread, because its nice to point out some of the better, funnier quotes from this forum, and the recent arguing needs to be shut out (me included) by viewing the funnier posts that makes this place great. However, i dont really feel like making it. people will probably say 'thats ironic that youve created this thread'. which is true to some extent. And also maybe a stickied thread to advertise non-members to join the forum, saying things like its really easy to join, all you need to do is to punch in your email address and put in your desired user-name and then you can post all you like! at the moment threads get many views but the majority are by non-members. all they need to do is sign up and then they can share their opinions, instead of getting frustrated about the discussions. thats what i felt like when i used to be a non-member, and by signing up everything is so much better because you can get a response to your thoughts

what is this worms game that everyone is talking about? is it an exclusive or something. i love worms games, the PSone games and worms 3D for the GC. haven't played forts or warfare yet.

Can someone explain to me how the PS3 is worth £200 more than the other consoles. What can it do better than its competitors to deserve that sort of tag? you could buy a wii and a 360 instead for the same money.

the old one was the sort of blurred one, a cool, light blue colour with a green on button (i think) and focus on the wii's A button

yeah that 64 image is better than wing island. and then when you think about it, the DS graphics are better than that, so for something as small as the DS, Wii cant do better. pfffft!

I just read Dante's post, but i think there was one little thing he left out. If i'm not mistaken, I remember an interview somewhere saying that the screw attack will be used a lot more actively as a weapon in Corrution, more-so than in echoes, where it wasnt used much as an offensive upgrade.

Well in the general discussion you dont get as many people going on about RDC's MFG's or whatever you guys talk about in there. We may as well use this for normal discussion and what the Vista features are, instead of worrying about memory and performance. 90% of the posts in the thread Moria showed me didnt make any sense to me at all.

Hey, I just watched the money programme on the BBC about the new Windows Vista, and they had microsoft executives talking about how great the new version is. They went through the 'wow' advertising campaign (which can't be great because I havent heard about Vista before). Anyway, all I can say is that Im not really blown away. It looks virtually the same as XP even if there are another 10 million lines of script for it. The only talking points they showed were the new window stacking systems and the chess board game that's built in. Who cares?! Apparently they spent 10 billion pounds on the project and it really isnt that special. Obviously its going to be slightly better, the best PC software in fact, but worth £100 - £250 depending on the version? I dont think so. By any chance has someone already bought it or used it yet, Id like to see some opinions.

My friends that have 360's dont have HDTVs but it still looks really good. Does it really make it a whole lot better?

Wow Rummy! you've been doing your research. Anyway, at the end of your post it explained what i think about a person who considers themselves lucky/unlucky. People who think they're unlucky are usually not very positive and reflect on times when they've made the wrong decision. People who think they're lucky are usually positive, and look at the bigger picture and reflect on times when they've made the right decision.

The first part: I agree with you. I would say more than often it would be chicken though. But ham can be very tasty when it's cooked right it has to be said. For the second part: I disagree. I will usually have anchovies and olives on my pizza, but I also agree with you that the meatier and the spicier the better. Apart from peppers. Im not a big fan of them. Edit: as for the best meat, it would have to be the lush beef fillet - medium rare

Even before reading any posts in this thread, virtually everyone will have been thinking 'i dont really believe in luck, but id say if i did i would be an unlucky person' im saying that because most people think they're unlucky, when evidently, starving people in Africa are very unlucky.

can someone give me some in-game screenshots from lost planet, gears of war and oblivion and any other good games that are out for 360 at the moment please?
