mostly true but the SSX games have always been good (apart from the 3rd which i didnt like) SSX 1 for PS2 was great, some awesome tracks and shortcuts, and On Tour for GC also rocked, good selection of music and tricks and tracks.

So there arent any side characters other than the butterfly and pixl things? i was hoping for a PM2 TTYD thing with multiple partners such as vivian goombella bobbery yoshi etc... oh well

apart from king boo and the boo pipes; that was the highlight of the game for me. the tracks needed more tracks and more short cuts and a faster pace to be a good mario kart game. with double characters as well it was a bit too colourful and confusing

How can you say that his work is garbage, he's extremely funny/clever and entertaining. His had major success and there is a reason for that. Maybe you've only seen one episode of his sitcoms or 1 stand up and you didnt like it much, if you give it a go then it is very rewarding. The Office Christmas Specials and the Daniel Radcliffe Extras episode are some of the funniest and cringeworthy things you could ever watch. yeah, i found that the post make sense, but what are they going to get out of it? money/ excuse for if they lose? seems silly doing it during the game, because everything stops. and it was a foul, although im not completely sure that Vidic would have made the header anyway.

Yeah, its hard owning multiple new consoles, i found i difficult deciding whether i should buy a DS game or a gamecube game. Id sort of lost interest in the PS2 a few years into it and getting the Gamecube and focusing on that after it had a big library was great fun. That was when i really enjoyed my game to the fullest, even though i had much fun on other systems including Gameboys. when i bought the DS though it was hard to choose between Gamecube and DS games, and it was just as well i wasnt a fan of the DS because everything became much easier once i has sold it. And the Bard is right btw, Tekken owns, read my last post.

I know that was a mental game! Watched it yesterday and it was just bizarre to watch! Great free-kick by Giggs though, fantastic stuff. They have surely got to sack the coach now and I hope we dont have this trouble when (if) we play them here. You could tell that Ferguson was not impressed. I noticed how angry C.Ronaldo was when he came off, it wasnt good because he was quite hot-headed and had an argument with Neville. I hope he wont be leaving, especially seeing that Inter Milan suggested a deal for £33.7 million. I hope he doesnt leave otherwise United may struggle next season. Oh and Flink, i hope your friend is okay, cause the police reacted very badly. Language problems presumably.

100% agree with you there! i have played on all tekkens apart from 5 and they've all been great. particularly tekken 3 and tekken tag! such an awesome game. i really thought the 4th was a step back from the series though, but hopefully they've sorted out the 5th. what i dont like is how they've reduced the amount of the original characters to quite a low number, have they still got Paul, King, Nina etc? my favourite character from any game is Gun Jack, he is quality. In tekken tag he just kills people. As for my Status: dont own any new gen consoles yet, but im 60% sure about getting a 360 39.5% sure about getting a Wii 0.5% sure about getting a PS3 It is most likely that i will get a 360 at the next price drop, and then in a couple of years buy a wii. It all depends on whether i get jealous of metroid corruption owners and smash bros/galaxy etc. gears of war, lost planet and GRAW and the table tennis all look mighty fine though having said that. Lets just say that if i found an incredible deal for either Wii or 360 i would snap it up straight away

Can someone tell me if the levels are varied or if they all look a bit samey please? also does it have proper short cuts or just alternate routes? cheers

I beat Bonetail a few weeks back and i was really pleased. I lost to him before then and its so annoying cause you have to go all the way back! Takes ages. Anyway, i need some help. In the Journal when you press start and you look under BADGES, i havent got the very last badge in that list. What badge is it?

I was really excited when i saw the videos at E3, but most people were like 'well it looks ok'. im really glad that some of you bought it and confirm that its really fun. The sense of speed is great apparently, even if it is a bit far-fetched.

GE:RA is quite fun, but the levels are repetitive, the story is crap and the eye powers are a waste of time. multiplayer is worthless. the AI is awful. its annoying when you get to the bit with the blue beam thing that kills you in one shot and its hard to dodge. also if you hit people with grenades their bodies vanish before they hit the ground! apart from that its good, weapons are enjoyable. i usually go with the jackel and mamba combo, alternate the fire and the enemies become dominoes

That sounds really cool, and i like it now that there are plenty or RPG elements. Special move upgrades and partners are the main things i wanted, along with the small towns etc. Throwing enemies sounds great, i dont think mario has actually done that before (apart from smash bros), hopefully he can do it as well as wario in his 2D games. I hope the thing that kidnaps peach + bowser is a huge Boo or something! or at least have a boo partner like in the 64 version.

I think im just not going to buy anything for a while and see how the future turns out for all of the consoles. I mean, if ive lasted this long then sure i can wait another few months? I loved the GC when i got it, but it was really good cause it had been out for 1/2 years and there were loads of great games for it. Granted 360 has been out for a while, but i think ill give each console a chance to get some more good software out. Its more practical that way, because i have a more informed decision. But i see why everyone get them early; they want to play the next gen stuff! its been a good 6 years!

Id really like to know where retro lover got his 360 and that stuf for that price. I dont understand it because thats £100 cheaper than everywhere else.
