i used to think that, but they probably only delay games to translate into other languages before release so the gap between countries isnt too large and they may add a couple more parts to a level but hardly anything worth waiting 6 months for.

Yeah thats what i would do. The current state of games isnt enough to buy one now, there should be a few good bundles by the time metroid is out, maybe even different style/colour wiis or wii-motes. and i can cope without new games for a while.

I wear quite a lot of Nike & Adidas stuff but i mostly hate rap, and im definetly not a chav. Not everything i wear is sportwear obviously, usually jeans and a shirt, i never wear burbery(sp?) caps or grey hoodies or bling etc. You're definetly right by saying that it is really bad to pre-judge someone just by their clothes, its not as bad as racism but its still stupid.

well its my decision at the end of the day, and ill get what i think is right for me. im still unsure, and this isnt my final decision. i may still get a 360, but just because about 6 people are saying to get a 360 in this board doesnt mean ill get it.

yeah, its just developers cashing in on the new consumers whove just got into games and they dont really know what they're buying. soon though people will be buying the good games. I know nintendo will want this but i dont want metroid to go too mainstream. I bet loads of people will buy it because there arent many shooters, and because its not like halo it will get slated. Many people from my school who played metroid thought it was crap, but it was only because it wasnt a simple shoot em up and they couldnt complete it.

Is anyone else really interested in the Wii-mote use in Galaxy? it looks pretty intriguing and mario should be able to pull off some cool stuff, like the spin attack they've shown. Ringing the bells and using the little shiny circles to latch onto looks good as well.

I see what you're saying but i disagree. My opinion is that many aspects were improved on in sunshine, but it lost the sense of adventure. In 64, for example Rainbow Ride, that was such an epic level and you always wonder how your going to get to the star. Sometimes its great because you can hit one with a bit of luck and skill and timing, but in sunshine its all set up on a plate and i dont like it like that. I dont think 64 is better because of the originality of what it was at the time, i still think its a better game. As I said above, theres more variety in the levels and there's a lot to do. Lets just say that levels in 64 were more memorable, more things to explore and a lot of secrets and puzzles. The desert level, Boo's mansion, The Cave, the Clock level, Rainbow Ride, Big/Small world, the Snowman and water bug levels. Theres so many greats and i love it. Super Mario 64 DS brought back some great memories, even if i do have the 64 in the garage somewhere

how does brawl make you go wow? there hasnt really been any proper footage yet and what has been shown doesnt look all tht amazing anyway

Helfire is correct but id still like more effort from nintendos graphics department, they have the money to make things heppen, so why don they? id love 360-like graphics, it is amazing what it can churn out, and i love to play goo-looking games. imagine what metroid could look like on 360, okay itll look immense on wii, but, you know...

I loved both, but because of the variety of 64, the feeling it gives you when youre really high up and in a totally different place, on a floating island in the middle of nowhere is really good. The chalenges were great, collecting different stars and exploring the level was really fun. Sunshine was made a bit too easy with fludd and the levels were a bit samey, but still a great game. The levels without fludd were genious and took much patience, like the article about mario on n-europes main page stated. 64 had a more epic scale

Iwata said the graphics would make you say 'wow' all i say at the moment is 'meh' i actually think metroid looks lush though. hopefully this wont just be an exception in the future, cause we're hardly far into its life and developers are just cashing in on the new consumer market, but hopefully this time next year some cool titles will pop up.

My opinion is changing now, just gut feeling, i think im leaning slightly towards wii now.

Reflecting on it, it could be considered as one of the most important games of the season. Had Manu only drawn or lost (which was definetly possible) and chelsea win their next game, 3/4 points doesnt really sound like a confortable gap. The game was actually very frustrating to watch, along with the Lille and Reading games. At least for the most part we get the results. A chance to redeem ourselves tomorrow, i hope for a similar performance to the Spurs game, i need a comforting win at the moment for some reasurrance.

9 points clear is all im happy about, when C.Ronaldo's goal went in i felt 10 x happier for the rest of the day.

Lots of really funny parts in todays episode. just a small one that made me chuckle was the bit in 'the news' where May was on about how he couldnt get a car to work because there were too many nobs and then the Hamster said something like 'hows was it hard? there were only two nobs, well actually three including you'

The main problem with people arguing on a forum is the fact that if someone insults you and you read it, they feel that they have to acknowledge it and post something back. This will then happen for so long that it gets truly boring and the same crap gets recycled again and again. I know that its hard to ignore comments, because if you do, you feel that the other person has won the battle, when in fact both of you have lost. Its just words on the Internet it really doesnt matter, unless its funny, pleases you or interests you. Thats what makes a good forum. I hope that made sense to everyone.

Luckily i didnt catch any of this, but why do all the good people have to go all of a sudden? What's changed since this night? We all know secretly that N-Europe is the best forum, so why leave it just on the basis of 1 (un)significant event. Hopefully everything can move on now and things will go back to normal. Nah, blue shells have only ever hit the person in first place (or other people in the blast area). I think you may be confusing yourself with the item in crash team racing that follows the road and hits everybody in its way and the person in first

the one where you boost off the edge? well, for one that was hard to actually do without something going wrong and two it wasn much of a shortcut anyway. if you used the mushroom for going round a bend or on a straight then youd be about equal on time anyway. you can still go over the hill near the beginning at least. on topic: i dont play sims anymore, and i hardly played it anyway.
