Super Gameboy is the glaring omission. We'll worry about the transfer pak when Mario Golf and Tennis is on there. It's a nice game to be sure. I played through it a couple of times on GBA but tbh, I don't really have any intention of going back to it again. I think it's the kinstones... Hope you enjoy it. There's plenty about it to appreciate. Maybe if you post some glowing impressions I could be persuaded to start a new file. I'm already looking forward to playing the NSO version of Link's Awakening this summer rather than delete another file on the Switch remake, haha.

First vid is the Japanese Seikaju no MeiQ trailer (it's longer than the look we got), the second vid is a stream they did. I'm gonna be going through these like people comb through BotW and TotK trailers. En eye-watering £36 for each game or £72 for all three. Already available for digital pre-order, I'm standing by for physical before giving in. I'm so glad to see the series live on. You've no idea. I figured it was set to skip this generation and possibly never be heard from again. II and III never came out over here on DS but I was able to pick up City of the Drowned over in the states a dozen years or something ago however I didn't come across Heroes of Lagaard, so I'm particularly looking forward to playing the original, pre-Untold version of it. I thought I & III were really long, epic games to get through, but by today's standards, the average playtime will probably be on the shorter side of things! Feels good to be back into the EO sig & av too.

You should probably replay them too. They're fine. A long, long way off Link's Awakening, imo.

So they're giving you in-game tat, wave 1 seems like something that'd be a free update and wave 2 is coming before the end of next year? Can't get my head around it, and checking some other haunts, they're just as perplexed.

You should go back and rewatch the Splatoon 3 wave 1 DLC part.

Went through them again in recent years and, imo, they aren't all that so I'd recommend tempering your expectations appropriately. I have 1 (childhood cart + 3DS VC!), 2, 4, the Shake Dimension but 3 has been a gap for me so I'm looking forward to getting into it at last.

If you've played Zelda before you'll know that he is bad. Hope it opens the door for more characters like Diddy and maybe the train kart from Double Dash too. Looked like those Gameboy and GBA games were being demo'd on your account.

Well. Thought that was shaping up to be pretty lacklustre which is no bad thing as there's plenty to be getting on with, but it picked up from Sea of Stars for me. Put me down for Pikmin, Ghost Trick, Sea of Stars, Etrian Odyssey, GB and GBA, Baten Kaitos, Fantasy Life, maybe Blanc and Megman. I'll give Omega Stars a go for sure. Tears of the Kingdom obligatory purchase. Hope it's decent. And short. I'm interested in a new Advance Wars, but after the delay, I'll see if I think this one needs the "support". Not sure at all about the Splatoon 3 DLC! Want to know more about Fantasy Life, like, do I need to buy the 3DS DLC before that's gone forever or will the Switch game have that content?? Tron Identity could be interesting? And Decapolice?

In the face of another Direct, I downloaded data and updated the MK 8 software to try out the latest wave of tracks. Liked Boo Lake, Maple Treeway (still a nice place to be despite the pwnage dished out by @lostmario, @dazzybee, @RedShell and everyone back on the Wii), Merry Mountain and why could I not take my eyes off the track on 3DS Rainbow Road? It looked so good. The music on London Loop and Berlin Byways left a lot to be desired. Did they just source some stock music and call it a day? Seems like it. Those tracks flatter to deceive a bit because even with all the routes, you can't go anywhere except where it wants you to. Not expecting open world Mario Kart here but... you could go off road and head to the castle in MK 64 so a similar amount of freedom around those streets would be nice. You can't even hop up on the curb. The Bow-Wow in the Thames was shocking the first time I saw it. Like the city had been invaded or something.

Jet Set Radio would be great to see. Galaxy 2 is a good shout too. Maybe they will bring All-Stars out of retirement for another run. You mentioned DK... what about DK and his coconut gun firing in spurts all over the Fortnite island! With all the anime stuff in there, they could throw in Toon Link when they're at it.

More likely than Golden Sun remasters, remakes, releases or sequels. On the horror front, I think there's a Fatal Frame coming that they'll give a throwaway mention to...?

Oh, and the Mario Maker update will be to add Mario Movie style to it.
