  1. My only concern is that the game, according to Mr Jenkins of Teletext fame, is less of a challenge compared to the orginal. However, its now fully purchased and i'm awaiting delivery!
  2. I, just like IGN, have missed this announcement.
  3. so, its valentines day... where are IGN's exposé on the promised 'dark games'? Its about lunchtime, in LA isnt it?
  4. I don't expect it. Clearly, I'm hoping for it. As this stage, i'm well aware that it would prove a costly exercise to gore-up the game, and its extremely unlikely. But whats wrong with me living in hope?
  5. I sincerely hope that they use this extra week to slop in the blood. Out of interest, what were the sales figures for Japan and US? Which performed better, percentage wise?
  6. Yes... Valentines day... Can't wait. One to be previewed, and one is cancelled. Twisted Metal by Retro, where are these rumours?
  7. In this week's Wii-k in Review Matt and Bozon briefly discuss Fatal Frame being published by the Big N, and mention other "Dark Games" - and refer to another 'dark game' being cancelled alongside Project Hammer, after being hacked at to become 'miniaturised'. Now, the only game I can think that would fit into this 'Dark Game' label is Disaster: Day of Crisis. So, has Disaster had one of its own?
  8. As far as I can tell its completely random - the epitome of random. A bit like NOE's release policy
  9. Nicey nicey.
  10. I'd like and certainly buy a remake of RE0-3 with the RE4 engine. Then, a Wii version of RE5 (although, the way its going, i'd wager it hitting stores during the next generation of 2012!). I can't imagine going back to the dual analogue controls for it!
  11. Neither has NMH, but NMH does fare a little better. I think the main complaint with BWii is that there is little new to the franchise, which is no bad thing as the original was great.
  12. i'm definately up for a tourney. I'm the BW master! That said, i used to think that about Mario Kart- i was unbeatable! Until i got MKDS, and it turns out i'm utterly useless!
  13. i seriously doubt Nintendo would allow any third party to develop a channel for Wii. Also, its very unlikely that Nintendo would agree to a channel which is only available to a certain territory- unless that channel is available to Japan, America or any other territory than Europe... And even then its limited to UK. If Nintendo can release an update for Internet Channel, thats the only feasible way it'll happen.
  14. has anyone read over at ign, they're reporting that the AU version has no online components at all. The Euro version definately has the spanky online goodness, doesn't it?
  15. I'm certainly hoping this is the case, and its an overall online hub, not just confined to MKWii. I can honestly see Wii Fit being delayed for Christmas - that would ensure Nintendo have a third consecutive year of Wii console sales.
  16. My copy arrved yesterday, and i'm loving it. I've so far got to the boss-type monkey - about 5/6 levels in and i'm scratching my head already! I'm thoroughly enjoying the game. Brilliance on a disk!
  17. i'm pleased to see that they're inclusing online rankings, however its a shame that rather than having a MK Ranking Channe on the Wii Menu, they don't bite the bullet and make it a multi game online ranking channel, and open it up to all devs.
  18. Has anyone tried the online components over BTs' shameful ADSL network? the guys over at IGN seem super impressed (as am I) with brawls online battles, however, they make it clear that they're on a fibre connection. Hows he game fare online with the aged copper cabling BT are insistent on using?
  19. its a shame that, given EA's love for Wii, they're churning out shit like Boogie. If they're investing in new IP's, they need to make them somewhere above mediocre.
  20. i've taken the plunge and ordered. Its not that i didn't want the game, just, ideally needed to sort out the greens for it. However, with stocks dwindling, i've had to buy early to avoid disappointment, a la Baton Kaitos! Why, oh, why do Nintendo undership Capcom games?!
  21. Blood?! Not in Europe!
  22. i've never really been able to snake in MK. IIRC, its a quick powerslide, followed by a boost, and repeat...
  23. With UK children's belt sizes increasing, i'm not convinced that this is the way to go - surely, there are better ways to get kids eating right, taking good exercise and ultimately being repsonsible for their own health.
  24. Over at the government website, there is a petition for PM to push for Fibre To Home (to replace the aged copper cabling) for Broadband. http://petitions.pm.gov.uk/fibretothehome/
  25. Only the good die young. RIP
