Hero-of-Time

Just wondering if anyone else picked this game up? I bought it purely for Sonic CD and Sonic R ( saves me getting my saturn out ). I have been playing Sonic Fighters this morning and im not suprised it didnt get a release on a console as its extremly shoddy. Its amazing how bad the game is when compared to the majesty of Smash Bros series. Also we didnt get Streets of Rage either we got Vectorman. Still there is lots to unlock on it so it should keep me going for a while.

Once again Stocka delivers. Man those shots make it look like Mario and Co are on the Roids! They all looked peed off. Alos respect Mario giving his opponents the start of The Rocks Just Bring It sign.

Ah the glory that is MM. I love this game although not as much as OOT. I bought this on release day and then again with the collectors disc. I know alot of my mates didnt finish it as they thought the time limit feature was too complex and they didnt like starting a new day all the time. For me this was its best feature due to the originality of it. Stocka I suggest you collect all the masks just to see the Fierce Deity Link as he is awesome.

I havent been able to get on anymore over the weekend due to going to flicks, dvds to watch etc. Hopefully I will pick up where I left off tomorrow.

I saw Unleashed when it first came out and was blown away by it. I mean yeah the action scenes are great as they are in most Jet Li films but the acting skills of him were outstanding in this film. I have never been a fan of his acting just his fighting but the emotion and various expressions he put on his face were amazing and got exactly how he was feeling across to the audience IMO. Also Bob Hoskins played a good part aswell.

Just seen this tonight and it was amazing and I think it was better than Spirited Away. The story wasnt as sureal as Spirited and easier to digest. The music was astounding as was the animation and the characters. Once again he has shown Disney how to make a great film using hand-drawn techinques.Billy Crystal provided some great voice work and humour as did most the characters. The only fault I can pick is I didnt like the voice of Sophie at all. Still I could bear it enough to watch the movie and it didnt spoil a fantastic film. Also this is for anyone who has seen it....SPOILERS

In all fairness you just gotta pick up all the 1st and 2nd party games and you will hav ejust about all the gems on the N64 as the 3rd party support was very poor and lacking.

It stinks how we get stuck with Vectorman. I dont care how good that game is it doesnt compare to SoR series. On a side note Skate owned all on SoR2.

Well im just under 5 hours into the game and all I can say is simply AWESOME. Im loving every second of the game from the opening sequence, which by the way is amazing, to the point at which im at ( Just finished Lords Mansion ) everything is fantastic so far. One of the main reasons why I never picked it up on release day was due to it being card based. I was thinking it may have been something like Lost Kingdoms which I couldnt really get into but after playing it I can see its so different from that. Also the action is really fast paced and you just forget about it being a card game and just think of them as your moves. The characters and music are also top notch. Kalos is cool as hell as is his metallic wing. The battle music, especially for the bosses that I have fought, is very upbeat hell one of them is even a dance tune! Sidequest are a thing which I love in RPGs and this doesnt disappoint so far. Im on getting names for the old mans Geneology and taking photos mid battle is a blast especially with the sayings that occur when you take the pic. Also seeing all the combos that I need to find it looks as though this will take me a good while which is a good thing to me. Quick question regarding photos. Once I take them of teh boss do I need to keep them as some bosses only appear once or is it safe to sell them once I have aquired them? So in a nut shell im loving it and thanks once again to Ray for giving me the inspiration to buy it.....One question though. When im in a battle im getting special moves in my deck but I still havent figured out what causes them to appear. Is it random or is there something deeper to it? Thanks

I think Stocka summed it up perfectly. Also MidnightSun just confirmed what i already thought. Both machines have their strengths and weaknesses but like I said in my earlier post the Cube, in my eyes, is anything but a failure.

WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! Just got in from work and my guide has shown up looks like i will start this tomorrow morning as I have had a hard shift....Cant wait to play it. I will tell you guys what I think after a few hours play.

I think the Gamecube has more variety and indeed more games but they all lacked the " magic " of the N64 era. I dont know whether it is because most of the games, like was said before, were basically graphical updates or if it was because I was younger when playing the N64 games. Either way not one game yet has come close to the excitement of release of Zelda: OOT. But I have to say that the third-party support is better on the Gamecube than on the N64.

Like I said in the Baten 2 topic hopefully I will get this tomorrow when I go in search of it. Now I have ordered the guide ( puts up flame shield ) as I dont like to miss anything in RPGs and was wondering are there any items, cards, weps etc that only appear once or that I can miss throught my adventure? Thanks

I have ordered it but I plan on searching for it in a few game stores that are near me so if i get it before the 2 weeks then I will just cancel....I WILL PLAY THIS GAME!

Thanks Ray that was some great info for me. I have been looking around the net for number 1 but everywhere is either sold out or I have to wait 2 weeks for it so once again fate has stepped in and stopped me playing it when im in the mood for it.

Ok people after looking at the screens im impressed. Now im about to admit something you wont like....I never played the First game. Im sorry please dont hurt me! I always wanted to pick it up but never got round to it. I even said I would on the official topic back on C-E forums. Now being an Rpg fan I really want to get involved with this game so can someone tell me how the whole battle system works and basically how the game plays? Thanks

Not to be negative but I think thei game is way overrated. Dont get me wrong its a good rpg but everyone goes on how its THE BEST rpg they have ever played. Personally I think FF8 is the best.

Didnt 1 of the girls get raped in the Jap version? Im sure I heard that somewhere...I think it was Aika. Also I finished this game fully earlier in the year. Took me ages to beat all the bounties and get all the final wepaons. One of the greatest RPGs of our time is Skies and I pray everyday for a fullblown sequel!

In terms of Gameplay Res Evil 4 bar far. Its just so easy to pick up and blow the hell outta everything. In terms of story though it has to be Res Evil 2. I played that so many times when it was 1st released. The story was the only letdown of R Evil 4 for me because I like the whole Umblella conspiracy thing.

I have been collecting this for years and that is the only reason i still buy it sad I know but if all the tress die out in years to come I will have plenty of toilet paper.

Simply Awesome!!!!!! Looks great to be fair it should with the power they have got. Hopefully they will sort the evil camera that has plagued the other games.
