  1. I think it is about time I dipped my toe into the handheld market once again. Despite selling all of my portables prematurely (excluding original gameboy pocket) i.e. the GBA and DS, there are always games worth playing on them, and if I can pick up one on the cheap from a trustworthy seller (probably Go second hand) then great. It still depends on support and game cost. I think if big titles cost £15 then I'd be sold, however the lack of second-hand games market does worry me because i don't like paying RRP unless it's a good title.

    Heavy Rain

Is it this one? If so it made me realise how awesome this could be, the whole story control element - it will be gripping. I don't know why I got turned on by the fact you could make that woman strip in order to change events...
  3. Please write it again. More impressions are good.
  4. Well you didn't realy say that, you said Which is short-sighted because it simply isn't true. Sony wouldn't bring it out if they didn't think they could benefit from it. It can basically enhance games that were already good on PS3 and make them even better if the controls are suitable for it. How do you know Sony won't release another major innovating title like Flower and make it mind-bendingly innovative? Believe it or not Nintendo aren't the only innovating power, maybe in hardware terms often but software innovation comes equally to all consoles.
  5. Who cares if you know most of the games before the conference? The fact is that the trailers looked sublime, the motion controls were a massive surprise and well demoed, 2 unheard of exclusives were shown (FF14, Modracers), and there were tonnes of games that little was known about that were revealed further. The fact that many Wii owners from the Wii board were convinced that they needed a PS3 shows that the conference was a hit.
  6. Well graphics were just a bad example (but relevant because it isn't what Nintendo are excelling in atm) but if I like the look of something they do I will say it and have said it. You want to not like something despite your best interests. You feel like you need to tell everyone that you aren't impressed despite the euphoria that the conference caused. It was unanimous that the conference was funny, well presented and layed back. For example when you saw Trico or Guardian whatsitsface you at first said it looks good but then followed by making it sound dumb... It's exasperating.
  7. Look, if Nintendo came out with an amazing graphics system that topped the other consoles I'd take my hat off to them, maybe even rejoice. If Sony does the Nintendo fans sneer and can't swallow their own pride (as if there is pride in being with a company) and say that something looks good. Shino and Zechs I'm talking to you, and you're bound to deny it, but it's just so blatant.
  8. Those 'issues' are so trivial Zechs. At the end of the day, as someone else has said, why should Sony not use this? If you're bitter that the PS3 has this and it looks decent just say it aloud instead of hinting it. Knocking it before it even has a proper reveal...
  9. It's not a revolution, and neither is it lazy to have games on the HDD. If you had to carry around removable media in order to use apps on the iPhone, it wouldn't have taken off. The PSP Go is the first sony console to embrace this fact. I don't know of anybody that says that's a reason to choose PS3 over Xbox either, partly because you can do that on Xbox.
  10. I'm sorry but that is bullshit. Sony and it's 2nd/3rd party developers have actually developed a lot of unique games, and this can help those companies. Why should the PS3 not have them?
  11. I think you know they didn't and you're trying to undermine the conference. You say the conference was bad but it was well presented and for me (Okay maybe not so much for you) the games were good.
  12. You won't be seeing anyone on there. You're just being smug cause you got a code!
  13. Damn Choze why did you post that trailer. I can't help but watch it, yet it kind of spoils the game. Looks bloody awesome though.
  14. Hmmm it appears in that last photo that Sully will be in single player. That's good cause I liked the guy.
  15. Oh yeah nice Store appearance. I feel tired at thinking about the possibilities Sony have put on the table with that controller. It's better than both the Wii and Xbox. Nobody was expecting it...
  16. This will be game of the year 2009 I think.
  17. That was at the start of conference and it seemed like Sony delivered.
  18. Ok we still don't know what it looks like but I think after the demoing I think it is clear that it will be brilliant for games - the ease of use and pinpoint precision is simply astounding. Launching next year in Spring IIRC, don't know how this will work in conjunction with standard Dual Shock/Sixaxis, but I'm not sure it's necessarily a replacement. If they give it an analogue or nunchuk like thing though it will be amazing for games.
  19. Well the general Zeldas and Marios game-y. It's not the next big thing no, but it is another rip-off for the consumer.
  20. The only problem with this is the samey track design I think - because you can't place trees specifically.... Well I'll shut up until more info is revealed.
  21. Look I'm sorry Jim but no. This is dumb, there could be so many better periphals than this. Lazyboy was right, it won't be used for anything game-y.
  22. Ok. In a few years you will cringe at comments like that.
  23. Maase seriously are you brainwashed or something? If they announced a Wii Zimmerframe add-on you'd buy it. 'Imagine a gran walking game! AWESOME!!!!'
  24. Samus talks. NOOOOOOOOO!!!! What have they done? Looked pretty cool otherwise, compared to the other stuff. Don't understand the mix of FPS third person and 2D. It was only a montage though there isn't a game there yet.
  25. It measures your heart beat? You're joking right? Can someone tell me what it actually is I didn't see it...
