I don't go to Church very often, but occasionally, usually with family but always during Christmas and Easter seasons. I'm an Anglican, and I like the Anglican church but it's full of old people. Very old people. It's actually nice, as they're always very friendly, I just wish there were more people closer to my age around. As for the other question, my old preacher (since retired to Wales) said it best in one of his sermons: "As an evangelical faith, we have the right tell people about our faith, but we don't the right to force people to listen." I'll always be resolutely anti-fundamentalist for this reason. We have a right, and some rightly take it as a duty, to spread "The Good Word" as much as possible, but once we start taking over schools and passing laws in order to force people to follow our beliefs, that just seems wrong somehow.

If you listen carefully, you can hear Bioware's head of PR having an orgasm.

If I see people knocking around at - 9pm was it? - don't be surprised to see me warping in down t'intertubes.

My main problem is the amount of pre-conceptions there are, not just about Christianity but about all the major faiths, that some members of the public seem to have. I can't really blame them though, there's just so little religious discussion and debate in the wider media, beyond the immediate religious communities.

It isn't limited to Americans. If it were, we'd probably live in a much happier world, but this seems to be whatever corrupting influence the internet has on people. I refer you to the John Gabriel Theory:

This is my favourite comment: Is he joking? We'll just never know.

I agree with Haden. As a Christian it's difficult not to get silently annoyed when people make assumptions on your beliefs based on their experiences of somebody else's dogma, particularly on attitudes to sex.

You can see Tails do it to at about 0:23. I love those little touches.

Unfortunately no, none that I've heard of. There's some good of stuff on the marketplace to augment it with though, if you've got a few of quid's worth of points going to spare.

God I love this game so much. Starting my third play through, going for the insanity difficulty this time around.

Disposable income much?

Just finished a second play through of Mass Effect. It's actually quite impressive the tone the game finishes on, depending on your actions before that point. Play a paragon of virtue, and you head off into the galaxy knowing that all species across the galaxy can unite and rebuild. Play a hard-ass military bitch, and you feel like you're entering a much darker age, where the most vicious elements of humanity are set to plunge the galaxy into the abyss of war. You really feel like you've left the galaxy a much brighter or darker place.

Cumbria. We got the worst of the winds, but we should dodge the snow. It's just turned dastardly cold now though. Brrr. Oh dear. One of the more tropical species are we?

Yes, it's almost on par with me thrashing your ass 2-0. Twice in a row.

I've been watching some of the cutscene's on youtube and gametrailers.

Phew, nearly finsihed my script, all well before the deadline. I can relax soon. Are you guys really getting nothing? We've had gale force arctic winds for a couple of days now, and I'm sitting in Uni watching heavy snow start to fall along with it. The 45-min walk home is going to be great fun.

Been at the pub last few hours. Me and a couple of mates meeting up with a lass one of us knows to start planning getting a student house together for next year. Just had a great time talking, all getting to know each other. She's a red head, beautiful, intelligent, a little of the wall, very neat but loves animals. My ideal woman basically. Except that she already has a boyfriend. There is a god, and he hates me.

Never played Rez before, so I tried the demo to see what all the fuss was about. I have since decided not nearly enough fuss has been made.

I don't think I've ever watched anything which simultaneously raises up and utterly decimates my faith in humanity at large. Brand new Yugioh Abridged Movie! http://www.yugiohtheabridgedseries.com/episodes/ Including the return of the hitman with the hair!

Cold. Also, my printer is now apparently trying to kill my PC. I think my PC was making jokes again and went to far. Something about putting it's floppy into my printer's mum, or something. Better print things out at college from now on.

Given NOE's track record, I will personally cockslap my own Wii and post it on the internet if I'm playing my own copy of Brawl before April.

Why are you the mayor? The Mayor usually has a double vote, not an investigative power doesn't he?

I've a got keen sense of political satire which I could use shot of. It's not really the hot thing in bar-social situations these days and I want to try on something new.
