  1. You say he is being given an online translator like it means something? Well great work Jayseven! You didn't have to do so damn well though, I wanted a shot at it too :p I'll try to help you finish it off though.

Well, I just don't think most people would sit down and translate long posts like that using a cypher that's not even a simple letter switching. Hence why I believe an online translator exists somewhere. Otherwise Sméagol is very persistent, but he know he can be that in mafia games! Still, it's a bit much to bet on from Cube's side if he had any intentions of this mechanic working.

  2. Heck, I'm impressed you cracked it. :heh: Never did I suggest we shouldn't bother trying to crack it, I was merely remarking on the fact that I thought there had to be an easier way. Would I suggest there was an online converter if I was trying to prevent people from translating it? :heh:

Also, it's pretty vague evidence against Peeps, if you ask me, but it may just suggest he's mafia. Bottom line: It's pretty impossible to tell.

  3. Bond hasn't really been Bond since the over-the-top films with ridiculous gadgets, nonsensical plots, hilarious supervillains, etc. Especially the new Craig Bond is way too serious for his own good. The Bond films have turned into action films.

  4. Those rules seem too complex for anyone to have to work out, though. Heck, I'd probably just stay silent instead of trying to say anything. Though it is Sméagol we're talking about, I do believe the rules are either simpler than that, or there is some sort of converter online.

  5. If this is a case of letter switching, please post the alphabet the way it would look for you, Sméagol.

While I can't rule out anything, I hardly think there'd be a write-up changer when the write-up is so sparse. That would make the mafia way too overpowered, I'd say.

  6. Yeah, pretty much this.

Except I wouldn't call it "inspiring". Like others said, there are other, safer, more effective ways to fight crime. I just hope the dude doesn't get himself killed.

No, I did consider using another word, but I couldn't be bothered at the time. Not so much "inspiring" as ... "admirable", perhaps? I mean, it's definitely a bad idea, but you have to hand it to him, he has his heart in the right place - not to mention a lot of guts.

Unless he's only doing this for the attention, that is.

  7. Like probably many others, I started off in the gaming boards since I came here as a gamer looking for a place to discuss Nintendo. After a while I noticed this familiarity between the members that I didn't really see reflected anywhere in the gaming boards, so I ventured to the general boards. Here, I found that the relationships between the members were very personal, and I discovered that this was where this familiarity originated. Since then my need to discuss gaming has almost completely disappeared, but at this point I had come to love the people and the community, so I stayed and have done so ever since. This place is practically my second, virtual home. :)

  8. Yeah I don't trust it.

I don't trust Dannyboy...I think he has a trick up his sleeve.

If the content of that post is supposed to be related to some diabolical plan of mine, it's so diabolical I don't even get it myself. :heh:
