I still have my Chotto Mario 3DS unregistered, but in my mind, taking the Club Nintendo code out of it will be the difference between selling it for a million pounds one day and not being able to give it away. I think I registered my OG 3DS already. Honestly can't remember what for though. Could it have been for the aforementioned special-edition 3DS competition? I remember we had to register 2 select games, but did we also have to register a 3DS? Hmm... EDIT: shiiiiit man, the Club Nintendo site says I ain't never registered a 3DS system and I can't find my code...... it's not in the 3DS box. it's not in my stupid pile of codes... I don't think. Most of them say what games they're from...

The release date won't be revealed on Friday. Bit weird that a Nintendo rep would step in to actively debunk it, but there we go.

I hope they play more Splatoon. I could watch people play that all day long.

I don't understand how ShopTo's pre-order system works. I've clicked pre-order and it has gone into my pre-order page. Okay. So now what? It says I can pre-pay now but it also says I don't have to. So what if I don't? It will just take the payment out automatically upon dispatch? Without asking me for final confirmation or verification or anything? pls help me understand.

Well it doesn't quite make up for no Call of Duty or Destiny, but it's a start.

I will collect all the stamps just for you, H-o-T. Wouldn't trust Amazon to fulfill delivering the special edition for £32. They don't even have it listed. Will bang a pre-order down with Shopto once they've fixed the release date on their page.

First Print now up on the Nintendo Store. Looks like GAME had a (very short) timed exclusive dealio for their lot, hence their earlier "our allocation is almost sold out!" tweet. Platinum's last game, The Wonderful 101, got a demo, so I was quietly optimistic about it. Alas, I think if we were gonna get one, it would have at least been announced last night. That said, the gameplay looks sort of similar to The Wonderful 101, in that it's: deep combat system + wild combos = hectic on-screen action. Maybe you could try out that demo (although I'd add the caveat that Bayonetta looks like it has more traditional button controls, as opposed to The Wonderful 101, whose controls had a slight learning curve which put some people off). Maybe someone who's played both the original Bayonetta and TW101 can let me know if I'm talking nonsense.

A straight £40/£50/£60 would be okay, with some leeway on the solus/double versions depending on where you order it from. Can see the First Print being £65 though. I'll happily settle for the double pack anyway.

This has been something that has been completely unclear since it was announced - with implications being that the NA/EU/JP logistics of it were all different - so hopefully this will be cleared up tomorrow.

W101's release wasn't too far out from the Direct, though (just 2 weeks for Europe, and I think I remember North America not getting it at that time too), so I'm cooling my expectations.

Demo would be sweet, but I'm not hopeful on that front. Did we get the W101 demo right after the Direct?

This is something I've wondered since MK7 - how is your win/loss count calculated? Is it - how I always theorised - your # of wins is the # of players you've finished ahead of, and the # of losses is the # of players you've finished behind?

I don't think anybody's doubting that it looks nice in pictures. I'm just pretty sure the multi-billion dollar hardware company with decades of experience in building hardware *probably* did consider and test it in a design stage. But who knows. Maybe they didn't. Or maybe they did and it was ergonomically perfect and they just rejected it to annoy everyone. I don't know. My uncle isn't a janitor at Nintendo.
