Yeah this is true. Apparently it's mum's dad (so maternal grandfather) that you get it from. Which is a big hame as my dad kept his hair until 50something, which I could live with, but the grandpa went bald mid twenties... argh.

Odders!! I was banking on you saying you didn't mind the hairloss and you get used to it and all that jazz, ah darn. I can see what you mean though, mine starting to go feels like the definite end of being young is begininng. I've always had a fringe so it's pretty covered up but it's becoming quite gappy as it's going back. Swept back my fringe the other day and a friend was like 'god you are going bald!!' which was good. To be honest it's mainly just that I have a huge forehead which makes the receeding look worse than it is. Still, if it goes back any further anytime soon I won't be able to get away with the fringe anymore. Do report back! Had a look online and there's some drug which everyone seems to say works well to stop it... but side effect is potentially erectile dysfunction - think I'll pass...

Yeah, you'll be getting really good in a couple seasons as you say. Think I could do with bringing in a few proper youngsters, was having a look at your squad earlier, might in a couple of 18 - 4s to train up when I get a bit of cash in...

Didn't really think that far ahead... just had a look at the middle league, the teams do look dauntingly good. Might be able to hang in there (if I were promoted) if I get some good development at the end of this season, though that's unlikely given the amount of players I've bought lately. Could do with some more depth certainly. Ah that's a shame. Yeah nah I just wanted the thrill of playing a top league team, like when Barnet play Arsenal or something like that (and presumably getting annihilated). Or the potential glory of a fluke win against an under-powered middle league team or something. Ah well!

Shame Michael Fassbender. God. That is easily one of the best performances I've ever seen. The film was pretty amazing/fantastic. It was graphic, and the relationship between the main characters is brilliant, and seeing Fassbender deal with different relationships and situations was just....ugh. Amazing. Amazing.[/color] Yeah. This. Just great. I love the bro / sis relationship. Carey Mullighan was equally as good. Also, Fassbender, right attractive NOHOMO. Also the music was amazing, the orchestral thing they use is great. Audio The bit at 7.40ish, amazing. Might download it so I can pretend my life is more exciting than it is when I casually roam the streets. Won't be wanting to pretend I'm Fassbender's character mind. Seeing Margin Call tomorrow, hope it lives up to your review!

Noticed my hairline was receding at an alarming rate the past few months. Not sure why (I'm only twenty!). As there are members of all different ages on here I thought it would make an interesting thread. Have you gone bald? Going bald? Receeding hairline? Did it bother you? When did you shave it all off? Full head of hair? and other questions.

Completely huge game in the promotion race it must be said! Looking forward to it! Had a huge 2 - 0 away win against the 2nd placed Aqui1a yesterday, very happy with that... EDIT: Btw is there a cup as well as the league? Like FA Cup sort of thing? If so are the lower leagues involved? That would be cool...

It's good alright. Possibly the best thing I watched last year, which is pretty amazing seeing as the interviews suggest it was only really made as a series to bridge the gap to the 90's ones that will presumably be on next year. These two Put in phenomenal performances. The lass who plays lol is devastating. Anyway, hyperbole but it's well worth watching.

Urgh, too much effort finding this thread. Anyway, 8bit Battlestar RGP, hilarious (also I'd well play it). http://www.collegehumor.com/video/6683770/battlestar-galactica-rpg

Similarly I played through it the other day... went to a friends post pub with a couple with the intention of drinking more, ended up trying limbo out and just playing the entire game through instead. Anyway, it was fantastic (and surprisingly good as a coopey experience taking turns, chipping in with the puzzles and that.

To be honest I completely agree with what everyone says about Spurs lacking depth. We've probably got about enough defenders but with Parker Sandro and Lennon out, if we lose anyone else in midfield we're pretty screwed... I was worried enough about losing Parker - he's been an amazing buy for us, seemed to give a consistency which we haven't had in ages. Krancjar didn't look great tonight. I'm thinking we'll be in the marker in the next few weeks considering that, and that Spurs have been mentioned in pretty much every tranfer article I've read lately. Still, I think that once we're out of the rush of Christmas matches it'll be less of a worry, considering we won't have europe to worry about. Plus we'll probably get knocked out of the FA cup in a similarly ridiculous manner to last year. Anyway, I actually think we've got a good shout of second but I still think City will blitz the title. Their depth is just ridiculous. In the long term, how to do the other Spurs fans on here feel about losing Hazza to the England job? I'm gonna be a bit gutted really... still worried about it, and then if we don't get top 4 we might lose luka and bale - and of course Adebayor's out... Could be our peak season! Related to being a pessimistic Spurs fan, I highly recomend this to any spurs fans on here / just to anyone. Written by the guy who writes digested westminster / digested read for the guardian. Reading now, most amusing. Had to edit this post like 3 times, post pub. The match tonight as pretty dull, painful to watch in the closing minutes...

Cheers - I cheated bigtime to be honest - there's a site which does a similar to hipstamatic - http://www.rollip.com/ with photos and I used it for that shot. Most of the effects look too over the top but for some photos they come out quite nice (particularly if the photo is fairly orange-browny already then the first filter tends to look quite nice). Worth checking out though as I say the majority of the effects look ait 15 year old myspace.

Good game! So close to my first win, ahh.

I hope so! Had a quick google, 'Charlie Brooker's new satire Black Mirror was Channel 4's biggest drama launch of the year with a total audience of almost 1.9 million viewers.'. Then again Sirens was cancelled despite doing well so who knows. I'm thinking it probably cost quite alot to make, second episode in particular, especially with all the CG, then pretty big casts.

Surprised nobody has commented on the latest episode. Thought it was fantastic, considering how the presence of facebok timeline and everyone having hd video on their phones. Loved it.

Xpert 11 Season 20: The Ascent into History

Lost my first game eva 1 - 0. That's fine. Didn't have a single shot though, slight worry. Quite liking the watching back (well not watching back but y'know) feature and all. -
Quite like the cover photo. Like Nightwolf says, it's nice to be able to have a smidgen of customisation. Apart from that though, it's all just a bit of a mess innit? Bit silly considering I'm sure the whole clean organised structure of old facebook was half of what made it so successful. And I don't really like people being able to see my facebook circa 2009, bit cringe. I'm sure theres some privacy settings that I can't be bothered to look into though.

These are unbelieveable. Thanks for posting. Been looking for an excuse to do my years highlights. Lovely stuff. Album of the Year Bon Iver - Bon Iver Such a step forward from Emma, which was great anyway. So much of it sounds completely fresh, drenched in synth and falsetto, yet weirdly forceful. I get something new from each listen. It's ending, Beth / Rest is the most ridiclous, risky way to end the album, but it sounds incredible, saxophones 80s synth et all. Totally brilliant. Notable: Drake - Take Care, James Blake, St Vincent - Strange Mercy Game of the Year Pokemon Black and White Partly due not not actually playing that many new games... whey videogames forum. But yeah, alot of fun, even if the formula remains the same. Played it for hours. Notable: Red Dead Redemption Book of the Year A Visit From the Goon Squad - Jennifer Egan - Really close between this and Sense of An Ending, both have similar central themes of passing of time, getting old and all that depressing jazz. Really lively, readable, touching, great. Also gets bonus points for including a 70 page powerpoint slide and it not being just a shit gimmick. Hear it's now being made into a HBO series. Int-er-est-ing. Noteable: Julian Barnes - The Sense of an Ending Film of the Year Submarine Probably the hardest thing to choose, since loads stunned me. But for outright enjoyment this is getting it. Everything about it, cinematography of rainy wales, the weird deadpan of the lead actor, Alex Turner's soundtrack. Smiled, laughed and loved throughout. Noteable: We Need to Talk About Kevin, Animal Kingdom, Never Let Me Go, Attack the Block, others I forget. Song of the Year Bon Iver - Holocene - Predictable artist for both music picks, but y'know. The buildup of instruments is immense, but it's the line and at once I knew, I was not magnificent... and I can see for miles, miles, miles that sticks out, really really beautiful. Audio

You got me - first two have indeed been touched up a little! Making up for my lack of a film camera haha.

So I haven't been that impressed this series but I just watched this weeks - classic! I would so watch a zombie show in the Misfits style.

Xpert 11 Season 20: The Ascent into History
dan-likes-trees replied to Haden's topic in General Chit Chat
Lovely stuff cheers. Seems quite a long term kind of thing then. Couple last questions to throw out to anyone: How long's each season? Does everyone play everyone twice? How many games per week? (Someone said two I think?) And what's this report I've been hearing so much about? Is it just a development at the end of the season type thing?
