Looks quite good thank god - I HATED Silent Hill 4. Anyone else think SH3 is better than 2? Everyone I know thinks that the sequel is better??? (Oh and a remake of the original on Wii would be great, no?)

As most of you will know a new Sega Rally is coming out for 360 & PS3 real soon. I have just discovered that there is also a PSP version coming out which got me wondering why the hell Sega didn't go for a Wii version? The PSP game has been created seperately from the console versions so surely the PSP game could have been a port of a Wii build (I DON'T want a PSP port)? Getting it for my 360 anyway but just thought it would have been great for Wii to have a proper racing game (as would Burnout Wii - my hope for this is still strong:) ) Any thoughts?

I HATE the sticks being next to each other - that's my biggest problem with the PS2/3 controller.

Burnout, Burnout, BURNOUT!!! Also I'd like a Kingdom Hearts game, a new Resident Evil, Space Channel 5, Jet Set Radio and would love a Wii version of Silent Hill and Metal Gear.

Tales of Symphonia. I just find it so godamn hard!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yeah don't sell GameCube - I use it to play all my imports since I have the old Freeloader that didn't work on Wii before the SU anyway. I love GC so much that I bought a second one when the Mario Kart: DD!! Platinum Pak came out (even though I already had Mario Kart: DD!!) Mmm.. Platinum GameCube:bowdown:

Mr_Bogus - toatally agree with you about P.N.03 I think its an awesome game (even if Vanessa does look exactly like Jill Valentine). Other overlooked games that I think people should check out on Cube are: Freedom Fighters, Geist, Mortal Kombat Deception (US Only), Hitman 2 is good on Cube and killer7 definately.

Upier - go to softuk.com. They have Baten Kaitos new and in stock for £36.50. That might seem pricey but it was produced in very limited numbers and I think its worth every penny. As for 'Tales of Symphonia' that is really rare. The only place you might find it new would be eBay and I've never seen it go for under £30 new. If you do buy BK from softuk then type in 'CHEAP GAMES' at the checkout and you'll get free delivery (they post out super quick as well). Hope this helps:)

Sorry to break the news:( It got cancelled back in June apparently due to "Retails reluctance to stock GC titles". O3 (the publisher due to bring RA out) are looking into releasing a compilation on Wii that would include 'Chaos Field' (another US-Only GC release), 'Radio Allergy' and 'Karous' (Dreamcast game released in March this year).

Does anyone know if Bioshock on 360 will be region free? The parental unit is going to NY at the end of the month and I've asked them to try and get it for me. Is this a good idea?

Do any of you know if the problems with the 360 are mainly premium units? I got my 360 in January '06 when they were really hard to get a hold of and so I had to get a Core - I have NEVER had any problems with it, not even a game crashing. I'm probably tempting fate by even typing this or maybe I'm just lucky???

That's what I thought. I'm not saying I want any of these games (apart from TMNT & Madden) I just thought that it was a bit strange that the Cube was still getting these kids games but then I suppose the more consoles a game comes out for the more moolah to the publisher.

Has anyone noticed what is happening in America? Throughout the course of this year the GameCube has been getting a steady flow of titles! Granted most of them are movie tie-in games but still the console is being supported. As far as I am aware, the last PAL Cube game was released in February (Avatar: Legend of Aang) but the Yanks have had: TMNT (the movie one which I imported); Meet the Robinsons; Backyard Baseball 2K7, Surf's Up; Rataouille and has just recently had a version of Madden 08 come out (another one I am importing). Madden looked like the last ever GC game but now Disney Interactive have announced that 'Power Rangers: Super Legends 15th Anniversary' will see a GameCube release on Nov 6th this year! Why is the GameCube effectively on life-support in the US but now dead in Europe even though NoA said that GC production had stopped yet NoE & NoJ say they still produce, distribute and sell consoles even though we haven't got any more games for it? I'm very confused:confused: (and don't even mention the cancellation of Radio Allergy because it was a tragedy )

I can't believe all the fighting and arguing!!! I think everyone needs to chill out.

Just been on gamesradar.com and they didn't seem too impressed with TRA. They said that the Wii version wasn't as 'full' as the other versions saying that it felt more like a showreel of all the best parts of the game. This has left me a little worried especially about the Wii not being as full - what does that mean? They also said the aiming now deems to have an auto-assisting feature that kids may like but adults will find boring. I hope they are wrong, because the only console gamesradar seem interested in these days is PS3. They have made quite a few sly comments about the Wii which just makes me mad. I should stop reading their site really.

Tell me about it. It's been driving me mad. Glad I'm not the only one who has thought of this. And you're right - Burnout 2 is one of the best games on GC and in my opinion the best Burnout. I thought the later ones got a bit too gimmicky.

I have a question and it is this... Where the hell is Burnout on Wii??? It's been FOUR years since Burnout was on a Nintendo Home Console - surely one of the biggest travesty's of the Cube's life was the cancellation of Burnout 3 for GC especially since the first two performed as beautifully as they did. I was convinced that the recent PS2 & PSP Burnout Dominator would recieve a Wii port but I don't think it has ever even been hinted at. If Burnout ever does come to Wii, what control schemes would you all like to see? I'm not sure I would like an Excite Truck esque tilt control scheme to steer, but using both controllers, analogue to steer, B to accelarate, Z to brake, A to boost, tilt controls for aftertouch and a shake of the remote or nunchuck to do a crashbreaker. Anyone else think its weird we have no Burnout? An exclusive new Burnout or even a version of Burnout Paradise would be great. OK rant/plea over.

I'm thrilled by this news. I used to get a lot of grief for having a GameCube even though i was and am still a very proud Cube owner! But now it seems that anyone who doesn't have a Wii gets the grief. As Marv said to Kevin in Home Alone 2: "My, how the tables have turned".

I am amazed at how different it will feel to play - i was excited enough already but that trailor looks awesome! Been playing it on PS2 since its release but due to the PS2s shocking analogue sticks it has been driving me insane!!! It will be so much better on Wii.

I was just re-playing Resi yesterday!!! Completed the game with Chris but it took me over 5 hours to do which I was surprised by. Its amazing how much you forget about the game like how to solve certain puzzles and the locations of some key items but it reminded me of just what an awesome game it is. I got it pretty much as soon as it came out back in '02 and it completely blew me away. As for replay value I find all of the Resi games brilliant to play through - I can even play through the whole of Resi 2 in one sitting without saving (although it is really easy once you know what to do).

Anyone else know any news as to when TRA is coming out on Wii? nRevolution magazine have been promising new info for the last couple of months and apparently will have the first UK preview in their next issue (no.13 out 23/08). I hope we don't have to wait too long - ign have it down as 2008 but if the first episodes are going up on Xbox LIVE for 360 next month surely they would co-incide it with the Wii version say around Nov/Dec time (like Legend on Cube was released last Dec) or is that wishful thinking?

Yeah I think it is - in the cubed interview it said there was a Harvest Moon game called 'Tree of Happiness' or something like that which I presume is the english name for the HM game that came out in Japan??? I also want to go back to a post by Zelda_Rulez earlier today when he said about the release date of 'Magical Melody' being previously listed as Sep 30th. I saw that on Rising Star's website a few weeks ago and it must have been wrong because 30/09 is a Sunday and games never come out on a Sunday (in the UK at least). It was as if they were just picking a date at random. I e-mailed the chief exec of Rising Star back in January about 'Magical Melody' and he was a bit vague then too

For anyone still looking forward to 'Harvest Moon: Magical Melody' on Wii (really GameCube), I've just been on Rising Star games website and it says that there will be a 'special announcement' sometime next week (Aug 20th)!!! Wonder what the announcement will be? A Definite Euro release date or that its been canned AGAIN?
