I was going to suggest that but wasn't sure if it was more than a years data. Pivot Tables are really useful. just a tip, if there is a particular bit of data you want to analyse in the table double click it and it will bring all the background info into a seperate tab that relates to that specific bit of data. e.g Person 75 had 6 tests in october double click the 6 and it will bring out the six results that relate to person 75 in october.

Liverpool look likely to keep Aquilani. Unless we play 4-5-1 all season we have too many midfielders. Need another winger.

Oh yeah an away win. Got another injury which isnt great. Lower league has absolutely no change from last week. Funny how that happens Someone else may decide to take it over for next season. There was someone further up who wanted to join next season.

PivotTables are awesome. What i would do with that data is add another seperate tab with the data for a lookup table. Have the dates from 01/01/10 trough to what ever date you need in Column 1 in Column 2 i would have say ="Jan-10" for all Jan 10 dates so on and so forth. Once that is done use a vlookup, in the last column of your data table, on the date cell to return the month from your lookup table. Then use a pivot table on the data. Have the person id on the left with month across the top and populate the data section with result. Cahnge the result data from sum to count. Jobs a good un!

Well if it is in a database already you could extract the information via microsoft query (if the database is compatible). I do it all the time at work and it saves a lot of time. Again it would be difficult to explain but once you know how to do it, it is really easy.

I do but not massively. I am in the bottom league with some 28 year old skill level 5's. I may as well not train them and save the money to buy better players. I will train the young ones if needed but this season is about just getting by. any way if i get a well skilled 17 year old i may make some good money from him

i have put mine at 300 000. I know statistically 200 000 is meant to be optimum but i would rather be that percentile higher incase they decide to tweak it

Well i would approach it in a complicated way to set-up but once setup easy to maintain. I would put the data in a table in excel. I would then make the Date format MMM. i would then use a Pivot table and drag and drop the information i needed. I am not good at explaining how to do things i normally just take the data and do it myself.
