I think it's good. Sure it's more "studio", but that doesn't make me hate it. It's done very well. I do actually think I prefer Soviet Kitsch. But it seems like you're being extreme. What's gimmicky? Yu mean the way she says words? "Be-uh" = Better and stuff? I like it. It's not in every song. In other musical news: Hobbizino (sp?) convinced me to buy India.Arie's album Acoustic Soul, and it is very good. Very relaxing. I also got Real Girl by Mutya Buena. She seemed to be making some pretty good songs, a bit less prodeciued than the Sugababes. It's good too, and you can tell a lot of work's gone into it. Also some good cameos from Amy Winehouse and Geroge Michael.

Uk is 12/13 so you get over his narrow-mindedness. I remember the BBC website had an article about a new DC Comics character, Batwoman, who was the first lead character who was a lesbian or something. She was however, stunningly beautiful. :p

Bjork - Pagan Poetry So initmate, and the expressions on her face are scary, as she tus at her piercings in an attempt to prove her love. Bjork - Set the benchmark for CGI at the time, and is on permanant display at the Met in NY (IIRC). Beautiful. I also like Gwen Stefani - Watcha Waitin' For (Unedited version). Love the whole Alice In Wonderland thing going on, and japanese culture is a love of mine.

I bought Soviet Kitsch and I lent it to him, so he knows. I love both albums. But they're different to each other. Fidelity is one my least favourite, despite it being the one i discovered her with. Loads are full of beauty and spirit, and yes, it's different, and less quirky than Soviet, but it's still well made and really good music. Some tracks like Edit and Summer In The City are a bit blah, but still. That's the way albums are. They're too different moods allmost. One is introverted whilst the other is more extroverted. As artists grow and develop, styles change. Now, i couldn't give a damn if she's "sold out" to make money. She's still making good music, and as long as that continues, I really couldn't care less what she does money wise. Anyway.. -- I tend to prefer female vocalists too. I love some male fronted bands too though. MCR, Placebo, P!atD, Nirvana, 30 seconds to Mars to name a few.

In that photo yeah, they have a passing resemblance. If they were crazy sisters (and they weren't famous) I wouldn't bat an eye lid. But that's a very bad photo of Megan.

Homogenic - Bjork Seriously. It's just amazing. If you only listen to one of her albums, make it that. With some good quality headphones. Ray Of Light - Madonna Recently rediscovered this. Got when I was little (7, I think) cause I liked the title track, but it really holds up today, and deserved the praise it got. Jagged Little Pill - Alanis Morissette Really well made, and she puts a lot of humanity into her music. Begin To Hope and Soviet Kitsch by Regina Spektor An amazing talent, and 2 stellar albums.

Icky Thump's good. It makes Bagpipes cool. I hate how so many scottish people seem to think playing really long notes on bagpipes is pleasant. Realistically you want fast paced stuff.

After finally getting all of Garbage's albums, I've realised that beautifulgarbage is vastly underrated. It's so meticulously produced and formed, it's beautiful. (No pun intended)

I'm kinda the same. I notice when it's really good acting, or in films like "Kes", where it's shockingly realistic. I need to download Drawing Restraint 9. I need to find it without resorting to limewire though..

As much as I've tried, I still don't like "My Juvenile" by Bjork. I often find myself being indifferent to some of her stuff, but eventually warming to it. This I just can't like.

Thanks. Michael Gondry and Spike Jonze are always good to hear about. I might buy Drawing Restraint 9 if it's cheap.

I made the sig to match, but I couldnt get it to the right size, so I'm stuck with this.. 8/10 Hate that pic. Try and get one from the Under My Skin era, rather than Let Go. the rest is nice though. -

Check the sig requestr thread.. I made the sig to match.. but the file size was so big it wouldn't load onto Photobucket. And I didnt know how to resize it.. 7/10 Aesthetically pleasing, but just not as good as your previous one. -

Yeah, but I don't think Megan is going to persuade them... *wink wink nudge nudge stab stab* *ahem* Anyway. I'm not going to see Transformers, and would prefer to see hairspray, simply because I enjoy being entertained, rather than watching 2 hours of Robots mindlessly fighting. I just realised, I use so much hairspray on myself.

Same here. I buy the ones I know I'll love, or at least ones from artists I love. Like today I bought Talking Heads, garbage and Hole albums. But I downloaed Kate Nash, to see if she had any other good songs.

Pride and Prejudice (2005) 9/10 A well acted, beautifully filmed, look into the lives of the Bennet sisters. it is heartwarming, and Keria Knightley is very good, and really deserved her Oscar nomination. Brenda Blethyn is also stand-out.

I spent 20 quid on Live Through This by Hole and beautifulgarbage by Garbage today, despite them being old albums. I hate HMV.

Like the Warrior one. I can imagine it on the stat screens or world map levels of RPG's.

Britney Spear's Sanity I also miss Justice League Unlimited and Batman The Animated Series The best of it's kind, hands down. -

I didnt say you said it sucked. lol I just said you insinuated (correctly) that it's the one that has the worst of her work on it. I can't listen to There's More To Life Than This without cringing.
