  1. This one had worse pacing and script, but was better on all fronts apart from that. TBH, I liked the first ones explanation of how Aliens/Predators met/interacted. This one was unnecesarry, but needed in a way to make the AVP image better.
  2. Blondie are awesome. I'd recommend their most recent album, Curse Of Blondie. It's not classic like their old stuff, but it's still pretty good. Deborah Harry's new album is disturbing however.
  3. I thik Vespertine and Homogenic alternate for best spot. Medulla is up there, but doesn't reach the pinacle of the other two. Post is also awesome. Debut is great, though not a masterpiece at all. Volta is strange. It's very disjointed in a way. The Mark Stent Single mix of Earth Intruders is so much better than the album version it's ridiculous.
  4. Those are hardly weird. Most of them a very cliche.
  5. Well in a massive corporation, it's likely that there would have been someone to take over head position at Weyland. The name is just traditional I guess.
  6. I wrote of Anthony after DFOD and My Juvenile, but I love his solo stuff. It was a mistake having him on Volta. I got into Bjork about 2 years ago, but only had the first 2 for the longest time, before deciding to expand into the rest. Then I dsicovered the masterpeices that are Homogenic/Vespertine/Medulla. And yes, I have Telegram. It's cool. The live brodsky quartet Hyper-ballad is excellent, as is the Possibly Maybe mix (never been a big fan of the original). The Enjoy and Army Of Me mixes provide some heady club flavour too.
  7. The woman was Ms./Mrs. Yutani, who would in future form Weyland (remember him from the first AVP?) - Yutani enterprises or whatever it's called. That's the nefarious corporation in Alien and Aliens. It was more engaging that AVP, but whoever paced the ending should be hit in the face.
  8. I took the sticker off my Volta like first thing. I didn't realise you couldn't close it afterwards at the time. It;s on my bedroom door for a joke. Did you buy Surrounded? I have them all original. Though I kinda want Debut Surrounded for the remaster. Can't wait for the Volta Live CD to come out.
  9. / Stealing other people's names feels cheap. Atlantis and Interzone Aurora Stevens and Deeley (Exchange stevens for Power if it's two female cats)
  10. ***posting so chair avoids automerge***
  11. St.Trinian's 7/10 A thoroughly enjoyable movie. Nothing special ,but pretty funny in parts, especially when you go to private schools and know that. I'm not a girl, but I interact so much with the sister school and other private girls schools that I know.
  12. I bought Rogue Traders album yonks ago. I used to watch Neighbours, so I knew the lead singer. It was a case of "The single pwns the rest of the album and sounds totally different", but it's a good dance/rock album. I saw their new one was out, I kinda want it. ------- Oxigen: Yeah, i'm loving Jukebox. It helps that I don't know that many of the songs, and the fact she makes them so her own. I mean, I love Blue by Joni, but it's virtually unrecognisable on Jukebox (in a good way). I hope Bjork plays Who Is It when I go see her. She didn't include it on any of her setlists this tour until late last year IIRC, so i hope she isnt going to stop playing it soon. I really wanted to see Tori Amos live. She varies her setlist every time. It's like she hits shuffle on every song she's ever done. Makes going to see her a bit more interesting multiple times.
  13. I bought Jukebox by Cat Power today for a joke, even though it's a covers album and I should really get some of her original stuff first. I just love her voice/face/cover of the album. Also got Myths of the Near Future and Infinity On High by Klaxons and Fob repsectively for a tenner total.
  14. I wear DC (IIRC) skate shoe-esque trainers. They're kinda squishy with a grey skull pattern on them. I don't care about labels.
  15. From a show on her Sweet Escape tour. They might be available online wither at her store (many stores) or eBay. Thanks. I liked your board of funny notes.
  16. People like her and the adults in her family are the scum of the earth. I saw the Louis Theroux doc on them last year, and it's so sad that the children are joining in with them, but they don't even know what they're picketing or why. Religion gone to hell (no pun intended).
  17. Obviously don't own Overpowered by Roisin Murphy. I need a Tori Amos poster on my wall, I realised after posting pics on that thread, and realising all my posters are so outdated. And I need a Killers one, MCR, CSS and maybe NYPC.
  18. I have a Debbie Harry fetish. General bits and bobs. That TR poster realy needs to go. I haven't played it in like years. More bits. A ltd. edition Roisin Murphy 7'' single, my school timetable and a drawing of an Alien I did whilst bored in class. A cut-out of gwen Stefani (:awesome: ) and old pics of me with the 'X-Men" at Marvel island at Universal's Isalnds of Adventure. And my funny book-shelves. A drawing of me by my old art teacher, a poster from a Gwen Stefani concert, a print of Ahirley Manson, a signed print of Spider-Man's enemies (singed by Scott Hanna), a Goldfrapp miniposter and a 7" Siouxsie single. My above the bed bit. Lots of small things here. Bjork, thingie from Psycho, and I cut out one of the things from "Worst dressed" in my mums Heat about Avril lavigne cause it was funny. Beside my bed, V for Vendetta and Sweeny Todd. And some hanging stars that light up. A glimpse of my Cd rack, X3 poster and January of my LOST calander.
  19. Well if environment includes diet, then it's a mixture of the two. See; "Third-world" inhabitants and people from the olden days. They're pretty compact. I'm 6.2 maybe. Dunno. Tallest in my family I think.
  20. Charlie Wilson's War I'm quite interested in American politics, and I went on the recommendation of my Modern Studies teacher. It was pretty funny in parts, and generally entertaining while still showing a serious message. It makes you think about the state of America now. Hanks was great in it. 7.5/10
  21. Wow! I love Leinil Francis Yu's stuff. I love X-men annual too. However, I am a poor teenager...
  22. Like a gazillion things. Soon, i'm doing a poster overhaul, as my poster life spans from when I first moved up till now. I'll upload pics at some point.
  23. *stirs coffee in a a funny Newcastle cafe* *Is wearing a red wooly outfit*
  24. I used to run up the stairs on all fours. But we don't have stairs anymore, so I'm over it. I play with bits of my hair, but then it's pretty big and spiky-ish. I like crack my nose too. Yknow when you do that pretend hitler moustache thing with your finger, imagine that, but the finger not fully extended. Then I widen my nostrils and push up, until I feel it's satisfactory. I have other ones which aren't weird really, but yeah. Prefer not to say.
  25. Don't worry, I've been wondering while I'm listening to it so much as well. : peace:
