Who else watched her Glastonbury set? I'm abotu half-way through and it's one of the most entertaining concerts I've ever watched. What an entertainer. Sheer class. I laughed out of pure joy/yes-ness in Survivor with the poignantly ommited lyrics to add a harder edge - "Thought I wouldn't sell without you - - MILLIONS. WHAT?" But yeah. Brilliant.

I read Ultimate Spider-Man 160. I love abrupt/done. I hate since it was such a stunning series with really well-developed and loveable characters. I love Ultimate Peter Parker. Mary Jane finally reaching her 10 speed charge click. 4 damage. Doing 2 due to Goblin having Invulnerabilty. I hope

She said Telephone is the one song of hers she doesn't like. Alejandro has been replaced by Americano for doing the same thing, but enjoying it more.
-
It would make for a better show though. I mean the writing style from The Fame to BTW is completely different...she's not as shit for one thing. I can see her performing most of Born This Way, save maybe a few of the slower ones like Bloody Mary or Electric Chapel. Then all the previous singles except Telephone and Alejandro. And maybe Teeth.

Her voice will deteriorate a huge amount I'd predict. People who exert their voice so much always do. Might make an effort to go see the next tour. Specially since I assume/hope she'll dump the majority of the songs from the last 2 albums in favour of her new one.
-
Yeah, considering it's meant to the one everyone/the public should concede is enjoyable, she has like 12 others I prefer. In fact I really have no time for her slow songs, I like her RnB stuff. The Roof (featuring Mobb Deep) is brill.

*Lowest-Common-Denominator Dance Music Read this article from The Vine where a writer talks initially about On The Floor by J.Lo ft. Pitbull, but then about dance music that aims soley for the lowest common denominator/makes no attempt at being anything more than it is/human history/stuff. -- I'm guilty of music snobbery sometimes (I'm sure you all know), but at the same time I love a lot of pop music, or music people would frown upon. But then I think there's good and bad pure pop music blah blah (well obviously there is). Shut up. Anyway. I've found myself being less of a snob over the years as I grew up and got over it. I like a lot of L.C.D pop/dance music (two sides of the same coin, dance is the current trendy style). I really enjoy On The Floor. I really enjoy I Like It by Enrique Inglesias. I really enjoy Commander by Kelly Rowland. And loads more. But I don't like The Time (Diry Bit) by Black Eyed Peas or Party Rock Anthem by LMFAO. I feel this is because there's been no 'effort' made in creating anything other than a purely functional piece of music - there's no 'artistry' or anything. It's 'for dancing', there's no presumption of anything else being derived from it. But then I think maybe this is just me being more aware of them being really bad songs from my 'music snob' perspective, and, since I can dance and have fun while dancing to them, I should just accept them for what they are as much as the above ones I said I liked. They all fulfill a similar function (with varying degrees of success). As the article says, it's like...let's all just deal with bad songs that make us dance when that's all they're meant to do. Or something. Anyway. Views on the topic?

It's raining in Scotland bitches. Deal with your good weather.

I spent all evening/longer planning, making, and editing a birthday message video for my flatmate, after finding out his birthday was tomorrow. Now I find out that it is 90% likely to have been a frape (his birthday date as I saw it on facebook). Deflating, but at least it's done and I can save it forthe right time.

Yeah. It's like she's called once more upon the God who gave her the power to create Homogenic all those years ago, for one last go. I enjoy.
-
My god. At first I was like "WELL - I was kinda over Comet Song/Volta-ishness", then it got into it. The end. Her Final Smash/Limit Break. Then it's done. She's moved on. I love. I'm pleasantly stunned.

The Indigo Lantern for Sector 2814. No one questions the hamburger roll.

He loves the feeling. The first two girls you posted (in the same image) look great in the existing costume, but yes, they should get an 'organic' redesign if they make it into the movies. The costume is already basically a naked woman anyway... :p
-
Superman's costume ruins the feel of iconicness. Wonder Woman's costume is brilliant. She looks suitably like a bad bitch, a cunt in that picture. Cyborg also kinda lowers the tone. I'd rather someone else. Im so indifferent to him.

I actually posted that before clicking the link. I actually think it's just a bit...ridiculous. Actually, a lot ridiculous. I mean..havng several Kids Wolverine costumes? That's just...no. And it goes beyond collecting because you love the series when there seems to be no joy in the actual owning/whatever. Like, how does owning every X-Men colouring book make you happier? I understand statues/figures/things like that, and obviously comics..and art too, but it's too far. I hate to be the 'There's starving children in Africa' person since I hate that phrase and it's almost always said hippocritically (and it is here too), but then the THOUSANDS he's spent on absolute crap no one (him included) will ever use (or ever really appreciate) is questionable in my mind.

They are alternate reality versions of the 'real' X-Men so I don't blame you for not knowing them. Avatar is Jean Grey/Phoenix (effectively), then sig is from left to right, Avalanche (might know him from the cartoons?), Psylocke and Cyclops. -
I can't remember what happened to Rosalina at the end of Galaxy. I kinda like how she isn't in Galaxy 2, since the universe is a big place, it's not like she'd have to be involved with a second trip to space. Sending joke letters to Luma. And I notice her digital ghost appears to guide you when you're lost and alone.

Disney was my life as a child. And technically I saw X-Men 1 when I was 8 years old. A stunner. But yeah, it was Disney all the way. Very few important (to me at the time) live action ones.

I hate being late to things I should be on time for. And I refuse to abide lateness when there's no call. However if I'm going to a party or something, I'll aim for half an hour later than start time. Meeting at pubs is a bit different. Depends on size of group/who it is. Fashionably late and everything. :p It's always calculated lateness though, and I hate when people say they'll be somewhere then are actually like 'Oh no, I'll probably just meet you later at the club' or something. Like...why not just...be here now? I prepare for ages before I go anywhere mentally so I'm aware of my schedule/timings etc. I would never be purposely late if I knew it'd be awkward or annoying for who I'd be meeting. Again that's socially. I'm usually early for all 'formal' things I have to be in at certain time for.
