The Detective Comics one is ridiculous. Some look like videogame title screens or something, need to see them on the comics to judge.
Not keen on Justice League at all. Not bold enough.
Wonder Woman's is cool considering Azzarello has said the book is going to be less of a superhero book and more horror.

Yeah, it's a stunning film. Feels realy like...sinister/weird in my head when I think about it, like a dream or something. The fact there's so little speech in Sylvain Chomet's films lend them a really dream-like feel (as well as the style obviously).

I grew up on Abba, but I just realised how fucking amazing this is.
Like..I can't fault it. It's a perfect lump of solid musical pleasure. There it is. We all love the outro. I want to dance to this on a table in a large hall, during a Viking feast. Goblets of mead clattering.

Tonight chairdriver and I met Grant Morrison. We went to a great talk/in-discussion thing he gave (he answered one of my question!) and then we queued for 2 hours (but it was fine and felt short) to meet him and I got my JLA and Batman & Robin (and his new book) signed. He told us about his plans for his upcoming Wonder Woman (All-Star?).

Daft is a young comic fan. He doesn't yet have a fully working gauge of what is good and bad. It will all come in time.

I really want to do stuff for RedBubble but I don't have photoshop/know how to use it *well* or a tablet. A tablet is the most poignant part since I want to draw.

I've been checking how much it'd be to get Green Lantern Classics Wave 2 and DCUClassics Wave 17 figures and the total including shipping and (VAT if their website is correct) would be £221. Steep.
I don't understand over £200 for like...10 figures. That's a ridiculous amount of money, sorry.

Art (at school) is/should be easier to do well than you think. All in hindsight of course. I went through all my old sketchbooks from school and then art college last night.
Of course at school you have x number of other subjects to focus on so it's never going to be as good as it could have been. But yeah. It's just like "Why did I do that? Such a product of laziness...".
I got an A in the end so it's fine though.

I don't think the interlocking covers will be strict rosters. X-Men (adjectiveless) has Jubilee and what looks to be the originalmodern X-Force with her. I.e Warpath, Domino and X-23. Strange.

I ordered Batgirl 24 from that site you recommended Daft and it's still not come. Are they usually really slow? Maybe I should pre-order. Would that make any difference?

Ended up seeing the end on TV this morning, then looked up to see the full line-up. My god. A model that isn't even a celebrity and some non-scandal related politician/someon's wife? Oh, and someone's ex-wife too. Though she was jokes.
John and Edward are funny.
Everything looks so cheap this series. Dunno what the last like 7 series looked like though.

Just listen to the albums So Jealous, The Con and then Sainthood. They're very easy and satisfying to digest, and you'll notice faves emerge.

I am in possession of Season One Part One but have only watched the first 2 episodes so far. It's kinda dull, makes me not want to come back for more. Does it get more juicy?

I just caught up fully to Thunderbolts. Love this series.
Really glad Shocker is one (on the B team), he always struck me as an obvious Thunderbolt. I don't know why but he's one of my faves.

I've never listened to any other album of hers in full. Never impressed me with any of the other singles. This one is ok. Same with Rock Me Baby or whatever. Just a bit forgettable.

Yay Havok! The theory was that he (and Lorna) would end up with X Factor. The more things change...
X-Factor doesn't feel like an X-book though atm, maybe they're making it more so to save it from cancellation or something. They have no business on Utopia, and I think Siryn being in one panel of the last issue of Uncanny was the closest they come to working with the X-Men right now.
