Also will have to look into Wolf more. She is completely different to how I thought she sounded! vastly superior. I'm really pleasantly suprised! According to Wikipedia the most reliable source on the internet she has been working on an album and it is due to release late 2009! I keep finding that I look at an artist that I have not heard for a long time and see they are releasing an album this year, strange.

Thanks. She really is I'd listen to her more but I like to keep her songs special! I wish some people would look beyond the fact that I listen mainly to pop music, the looks I get at school! (especially after Battlestar Galactica. ) ______ Okay now into the darker side of Sunday I've been listening to: Shakira: Laundry Service I enjoyed this so much I played it twice in a row. I can see myself listening to this alot. I Just love the spanish language. If i'd been into music back in 2001 this is what I would have been lsitening to as whenever, wherever is an important song to me, oddly. It's even better in Spanish! Patrick Wolf - The Magic Position Good stuff. At first I was unsure but I warmed to his singing during the album! Bon Ivor - For Emma I cannot believe I put this album off until now. Beautiful stuff. Okay now I'm into exploring Bjork next. I've only ever listened to Volta, Which Album do you reccomend I try next? : peace:

EXPAND YOUR HORIZONS! I love me my pop music (just look at my Last.fm :p) but I would get bored if I constantly listened to the same style of music each time/everyday. I've done it before and it all starts to sound the same after awhile. I may not listen to the best music but I try and listen to music beyond Girls Aloud/Miley Cyrus. Even though they are my favourites I recognise they are in nowhere near the best and so I like to also be musically challenged and taken out of my comfort zone. Often you'll be suprised as to what else you like apart from Pop! You just have to enter into it with an Open mind. Thus far this weekend I've checked out these artists/albums: Porcelain and the Tramps Only a few songs, not sure how I got listening to them/her but I do like the song Gasoline. NO idea what genre of music. I'm not going to guess I'm not the best at detecting that kind of thing. Taylor Swift I would have happily listen to her the whole weekend. I've listened to both albums several times. The Cardigans It was the first time I've properly checked them out. I Loved what I heard will definately listen to more later! Tori Amos Already listened to her a fair amount of time but is amazes me each time that I forget how solid gold she is. CocoRosie - Noahs Ark I love their sound! It is not something I could constantly listen to but I thought it was very good. White Lies - To lose my Life Second play through I liked them a lot more and they have excellent songs. They may have a problem of their sound merging together into one sometimes, however. E.S.T is one of my faves off it. The Killers - Day and Age Perfect Music for still being up at 2am. Exactly what I wanted. I do actually like this album a lot more now because of this play through. Again good songs. I loved the overall sound! Laura Veirs - Salt Breakers Weirdly I was listening to this while playing Tetris and it fused together nicely with the game. It had that kind of "bored of Existance while having fun" thing going on. Iron Maiden - Somewhere in time I was listening to this while cleaning/tidying up my room. It helped power me through and they sound completely different to how I invisioned in my mind. I do like. Emmylou Harris - All I Intended to be Kern River is a very good song in my eyes. She is a Country singer now in her 60's. She has a lovely voice. 50 Cent - Get Rich or Die Trying Yes. I was suprised that I knew more of the songs than I thought. I enjoyed the album but will only listen to songs off it every now and again! Kanye West - 808's and Heartbreaks Welcome to Heartbreak does weird things to me! :S A solid album but I need to stop listening to it and concentrate on his older stuff which I still have nay given a listen to. Coldplay - Viva La Vida Violet Hills is a great song in my eyes! also Viva La Vida which has not been overplayed for me. I'll give it another play through at some point! I listened to some off another Album as well and prefered them! Mogwai - The Hawk is Howling Excellent. :awesome: IT encapsulated the mood I was in perfectly yesterday sometimes I was just sitting there letting the songs just wash over me. I shall be checking out more. Metro Station - Metrostation Decided to check this out since I like the rest of the Cyrus family. It is fun, not that great but I'd happily listen to it. It was a nice breather too listen to this morning as well. The Veronicas Haggis gave me some songs ages ago but I've only just got round to checking them out. Liked what I heard and will listen to more and will probably easily get them up to 80 plays in no time! Nas - Ilmatic I love this album a lot. I did not think of that but yes I do the same thing and go through phases of different Artists. Such as Lady gaga I've barely listened to her recently but I'm not bored of her just giving her a rest for a it then I will go back. Now I normally go for the blitz approach and listen to one artists a lot for the majority of the weekend. This week it would have been Taylor Swift. This weekend I decided to try out different artists and albums as well as her and I think I find it better as now I'm not "bored" of her after two days and I've also got to listen to more that I wanted to. I may stick with this approach with the occasional binge. :p

Thanks Guys. Haha, I totally get what you mean. I'd be exactly like that now that I study Psychology trying to undermine the experimentor find out what they are trying to achieve. I could do that (Like Maths GCSE Coursework. :p) but I want to try my hardest to do this properly. Psychology is my favourite Subject and the one I want to do at University and I feel it would be better if I have more real answers than just me filling in forty sheets in my room.

You mean the NE one to London? :p I'd have to ask whether we are away or not then gather up enough courage and food for the day! @Daft: NEW YORK is awesome. I'm a man who likes a slow paced life just lazily shuffling from place to place but I loved New York. seriously my favourite place. It is fast paced but youcan step out from that and take it slow if you need to chill. I'm a city man I feel. I like being part of a bustling city it is just so fascinating! Okay my day. It was a cake of pointlessness with a sprinkling of fun. I had one lesson today which was Psychology and finding out that the Courswork starts now was painful for my ears as that is always the thing that brings my work down! This evening I had a creative writing thing going on after school which was pretty interesting as we got to read things that we are working on out and help to criticise each others work. I've never read out my own stuff before and it felt great to be able to do that. I almost caved in on myself and didn't but I'm glad that I shared!

Firstly I am not sure whether this is a tall order or not, so if it is I apologise and what not and please feel free to close the thread if you feel it inappropriate. I have today been given my Coursework assignment for Psychology and it involves gathering information from different people 40 in total 20 Male and 20 Female. I have a week to do this and I do not know THAT many people! in fact that number made my brain hurt a little. I've already been brainstorming downstairs on who I could ask. It was also said that it is best conducted out of school. It is a double blind experiment so all I know is that it is a Questionnaire based on gender differences in ethical decision making. It is a fictional situation and you read the short story (less than a page) and then answer 8 questions on it. It is completely anonomous and all I need as well is your age and whether you are Male or Female. Again I have to say if you decide to take part you can choose to back out at any point. The questionaiire is a rating from 1-10 so you just give the number according to importance, It will only take a few minutes and has to be completed before the 4th of Feb. I would be so greatful if you would help me out by providing me with answers because at the moment I'm struggling to think of 40 people. (that is crazy) I also feel my teacher left it too late. :p If you are interested then please may you enter your name in this thread. Eenuh! Congrats! Exam went okay. I litereally splattered all that I knew down onto the page. The structure of two of my essays was pretty non existant and the other one I think I did was good. So not as bad as I thought but I still do not think I did that well! Rest of the school day was pointless as I had no lessons but this evening has been great as I've not had to do any work of any kind so I've been sitting here listening to Music while playing Left4Dead. Now I'm in the middle of watching Battlestar Galactica! Awesome thus far. For once I stuck to my promises! :p OH AND THE MOST IMPORTANT NEWS: I FOUND MY FINGLEMITTS!
