But jon was only right because of the situation that adrian created, he saw that the way out of it was to follow the plan like everyone else, but if adrian was to have not created this alien entity, and people turned to jon for advice, you could hardly predict what he was going to say. Logicallythey did the right thing, morally they failed.

Presumably because they found out someone wasn't bad? whats the point in pointing out a good person?
-
Sorry y'alli have no clue as to anything =[

You know, theres like this urge that you sometimes get, its like before you give a speech, see a famous person, hand in your essay. It's survival, its telling you to run, run and run and run away from this situation. Here's why :P You've started sleeping with her, props, yay etc, but your still sleeping with her, regardless of who it is, feelings are never thrown out the window, theres no way. You've said it yourself, she wants more, cinema? thats a date bro, not cool if you don't want to be in a relationship, get out, too far in, you'll hurt her and ruin a friendship but now, you can give a resaonable reason no?

I did my research project on obama, and while i challenged myself to do it without reading his bios etc, i got a second hand look of what people saw him as. I've studied Nixon, Kennedy and Bush and honestly, this man was born to lead right from the start, more so than the others (save maybe kennedy) an outspoken journal from 2004 described him uniting his editoral team in the harvard review, and went on to say that he would be president in the same article. Thats a bold statement to make, and from a wellknown journal, its no hoohar it's truth =] My DAY showed my friend pictures of cats from 12 till 2 am to convince her cats were better, i got to see her dog... got up at 730 to do a presentation working thing for 11, finished and printed and ready to go 10 minutes before i had to be there, got 60% for it, awwh yeh, if only i had more time =[ Found out one of my friends (and closest friend on the course) has been called up to national service at the end of the month, for a year, i don't know what its gonna be like without him at the lectures, guess we'll have to make the most of it from now till the end of march. Finally i watched frost vs nixon with the friend from before, then we argued about it, and then looked up famous romanians (shes romanian, not famous) and she got angry when some presenter wasn't on there. So i argued saying he wasn't all that etc all the while not really knowing who he was. Now i'm here, saying this, and should get some sleep for a 9 o clock start, or read the watchmen again in time for the showing on wednesday... decisions decisions

Ah but the point is that because the threat is external, the world unites to face it "the enemy of my enemy is my friend" sort of thing, he saw the world about to destroy itself and couldn't let that happen, disvised a plan to stop that from happening, which according to intial reaction did, it was unfortunate that eddie found the island and had to die to let billions live but whats one more after the millions in new york? I struggle to see how his actions could be selfish, he wouldn't be noted as the saviour of the world, he rests in the knowledge that he did.
-
hold on, how is veidt being selfish? by saving the world? at the cost of millions? rather than billions? or are you saying that as the worlds smartest man he could have found a better way to solve the problems he faced?
