I'm a '7 day creation' person, and I don't believe God allowed for cross-species evolution. I believe a species can evolve in a sense, so it can adapt to its surroundings. Hence different types of the same species. But a piece of bacteria to a human, no. I have done research, a lot of it. And I have had an open mind and this is the conclusion I've come to. Sorry.

*retreats to the creationism vs evolution thread to avoid further offtopic nonsense*

I reckon Link in LTTP and TP are relations/decendants to the link in oot. And the link in WW was a new one completely unrelated, which is why he had to find the pieces of the triforce of courage again. Link is probably an anomoly in the creation Hyrule, which had a 99.9% perfection.

That's quite funny in a way. And quite amazing in another way. To be honest, I dislike the way missionaries often push christianity onto people because they think they're lesser than us. Oooh! We're just here for a fight are we?? Come on then, raise 'em! Fisticuffs at dawn.

Which war are you tlaking about? You mean the war that the deku tree talks about in OoT or the Great War mentioned in LTTP among others? I have a feeling 'the Great War' takes place during OoT. I also don't like the idea of prequels to OoT. I like to think that Link was the first one. That might be why I dislike Minish Cap so much.

Okay to clear a couple of things up... Satan wasn't a snake. He was sent down as a being. The latin word was translated to mean 'serpant' which we then took to mean a snake, but the original 'serpent' meant other things rather than just a snake. It's more than likely Satan came down in the form of a beautiful angel (since he was one to begin with). And his beauty was a factor in Eve trusting his words. Secondly, the idea of the universe being made in 7 days or 7 periods of time can also be cleaned up with translations. The original translation meant 7 literal days, as they had another similar word that meant 'period of time'. But it is pretty much certain that the world according to Genisis was 7 literal days. I'd rather not sit here and argue creation and evolution, it's pretty obvious what I believe and I know why I believe it. I don't think we're gonna sway eachother's opinions, and I don't think people who believe heavily in scientific theories are willing to 'understand' creationism in general. However I will point out the whole basis of religion is faith. Faith means there isn't an absolute conclusive fact or 100% certainty. Much in the way as science is often merely theorums. So realisticly we're both following a faith here. I'm gonna just sit and watch for a while.

Freud was highly unscientific. Highly. But I'm not here to discuss psychology, I'd rather die than do that again.

I always seem to use the hover boots in the spirit temple too. And I'm quite sure Navi tells you to go to Kakariko after the water temple, and then tells you to go to the desert where ganondorf was born after the shadow temple.

Now you see that's not much better! You're still having a go at him for his beliefs! Granted, had The fish not started this whole thing saying religion is 'bullshit' and that it's perfectly okay to 'hate' religions but not okay to hate races, then none of this would come about. But you're both slinging insults at eachother's beliefs in the middle of a discussion about racism and prejudice!!
-
Is THE ganondorf and THE fish's argument any better than racism? Because as a Christian I am more offended by THE fish calling me stupid and illogical for my beliefs, than I would be had he made fun of my race. Ironicly though, it's okay to insult eachother's beliefs. Perfectly fine. We chose our beliefs so therefore people can rip us apart? Bloody ridiculous.

Fair enough, in a way. But how about people who're fat and cannot lose it. I know a person who works out all the time and has ridiculous diets and tries so hard and are still made fun of for being 'fat'. I'm a rather skinny person and I eat all the time and never lift a finger. How is that fairer? I think that's worse than being a different colour. The only problem with being a different colour is that some people, who are few and far between in my experience, are actually racist. The problem is that we've already deemed 'fat' as being something that's your own doing and 'race' as something that cannot be changed. Society is a stereotype in itself in my opinion.

The Simpsons is so different to when it started, or when it was in it's prime. It's good in a way, but I think they try too hard to tell jokes these days, it's all about gags, I'm quite sure it wasn't like that back in the day. I'll still watch this film, but I'm expecting it to be like the latest Season - disapointingly shallow.

No. A jew is both a religion and a race. They are different things. You can be Jewish (you were born in Israel) but not be religious. And you can be Jewish in the religious sense and not be born in Israel. They're seperate things with the same name. The reason the name is the same is because that's where the Jewish religion came from and for a long time it was assumed that if you lived there, you blieved in Jeudaism. But they are DIFFERENT THINGS.

I reckon that loads of humans were taken to other planets as slaves to parasidic aliens who posed as gods and deities over thousands of years.

My guitar teacher was brilliant, though I'd been playing for a year before that and had sampled two rather useless/aggrivating teachers. He got me to learn some pretty ace new stuff, nujazz for one. But still, Matt Bellamy never had lessons and that's good enough. Enough of this advice, let's argue over who's the most egotistical guitarist who can play the fastest metal shred!!

I find it silly how I can make fun of a fat person for being fat and a stupid person for being stupid. And it's okay to be treated differently because you're poor or rich. But calling my friend a nigger, in a playful friendly tone with no intent to insult, is a horrific punishable taboo. Whether religion or nationality is race or not, it doesn't mean it's more acceptable to hate it. Saying "I hate muslims" is just as hateful as saying "I hate black people". Racism should be treating a character in a derogetry sense, and should be treated the same as any hateful act. Jade calling Shilpa 'Shilpa popadom' is racist for sure. But if you insulted Jade for a belief, nationality, race, physical attribute, anything; it'd be just as bad. Not in the real world of course. Racism is holy compared to any other form of insult. You can't order 'nigger brown' shoe polish because it's racist. In my opinion, that's stupid. If I asked for 'nigger brown shoe polish' I wouldn't be asking for 'nigger brown shoe polish, like a dirty black person that I look down on in a racist manner', it's just a word, it's not offensive if you don't use it in an offensive context. I hate how the technicality of the world makes us put things high up above others and completely blows them out of proportion. Hate is hate; and Words are just words.

If I really enjoy a game I never forget exactly how to complete it the next time round no matter how long afterwards. I remember every part of Twilight Princess maticulously, interestingly. I've lent my wii to somebody and I'm slightly missing the whole experience

I hate it when they fight

I've just done the three heart challange! I'm slightly proud of myself, though it wasn't too hard... You should all try it, it's much more enjoyable when one hit from an ironknuckle knocks you out :P Every boss = Z+A R+B R+B R+B R+B and they're dead.

I decided on this second run through the game that the worst thing about this game is hunting for poes. You have to stop and wait for aaaaaaaages once the sun comes up before you can carry on searching. Where's the sun song in this game?! It's getting quite tedius. And... Favourite item - Double Clawshot, one of the coolest items I've used in Zelda. And the clawshot animations are spiffy. Least favourite item - Slingshot. What's the point? You never use it, especially after you get the bow. Favourite temple - Arbiters Grounds. I keep wanting to start again just to do that, the puzzles and the boss were awesome. I quite liked the OoT poe reference too. Least favourite temple - Sky temple. Way to easy, easiest boss ever, few actual puzzles, just lots of hookshotting from place to place for ages (which is still cool). Also the final castle place is too short. Favourite music - the Nightime theme is brilliant I wish it was always night.

What you want Dante is a plain white square with a grey pattern on it, nothing too expressive though.

I'm playing zelda 1 it's hard I've forgotten how to play hard games. Been brainwashed by 90% of the games out today being reeeally easy. Plus I don't have a map...
