  1. Then again, deku link was a bit rubbish...
  2. The gamecube controller feels more comfortable but the N64 controller was just brilliant. I mean it looked like a space ship! The z-trigger was great, full on left handed too! The D-pad kicks the teeny tiny ass of the gamecube's d-pad by a fair margin too. I'm on my third controller due to the anologue sticks wearing down, but in all fairness, no body had attempted it before, nintendo were slightly in the dark. It changed gaming in terms of analogue-ness, every home console since has utilised/stolen the idea. Encouraging new game ideas and changing old ones, somewhat similar to what the Wii remote will likely do too... I can't fault the n64 controller.
  3. Surely loads of people still have an n64. Those who don't could 'ebay-it-up' for an average price? If Rareware games are so important there's nothing wrong with the n64 controller, for now at least. I miss rare, but I can just play their old games where they were born surely. And if you think they're still top dollar, jazz into town and buy an xbox.
  4. Damn I want this game, it's often well expensive, I saw it for fifty quid on ebay!
  5. I'm playing through this for the fourth time. Loads of my mates hate it, I think it's immense. I'm trying to get all the heart pieces/itemupgrades etc which I'm finidng much easier than OoT It has some really touching music, and touching moments to go along with it. I think it's as good as OoT in a lot of ways, just no where near as popular.
  6. Agreed, Rare haven't seemed to be churning out the amazing games they used to. Starfox, 'Grabbed by the Ghoulies', Kameo wasn't as good as I'd hoped. They've passed their golden era. As far as goldeneye v perfect dark. I prefered perfect dark becuase it was newer, that's quite a shallow fact, but recently I've been playing Goldeneye again and it's truly awesome, mostly becuase it's completely new compared to anything made before it. Perfect dark is pretty much just the revamped goldeneye. I also found it much harder (still haven't done half the levels on perfect agent , though I got 100% on goldeneye when I was just a lad)
  7. It took me over a year to finish this game! Spent a good while stuck on a few levels. I started playing through it again recently, it's great, thought I was the only person who'd ever played it on the n64 (they ported it to the ps however). The ending was a bit crap, though the last level was awesome.
