  1. Awesome!
  2. Uuuurrrghhh, I want to read that spoiler so bad
  3. No discount, sad Ehem...it's called Crystal Project. 25% discount. Not too bad. Found out that there's a demo, so I'm gonna give that a whirl later!
  4. It's really good! 4 levels left and it's been such a blast! Also quite challenging, even on normal difficulty. Beating a level also unlocks some challenges, which add interesting twists like: on each kill your weapon changes or only kills with ultimates count. Makes for some good variety. Speaking of variety, the only thing that sucks is that the game suffers from Nintendo's "you have to fight the same boss a million times" syndrome
  5. Yup, those were the good old days. I downloaded the app just for the sales back then Key resellers (think of them what you will) are better more often than not.
  6. Countdown It will start soon. Thankfully for my wallet the Steam sales aren't what they used to be (90% off of most games back in 2013). Still hoping for one or two roguelites to have a nice discount. Most importantly The Void Rains Upon Hear Heart: Also very interested in Project Crystal:
  7. I'm gonna interrupt this broadcast for a very special message: Been playing Metal: Hellsinger for a bit just now. Finished the tutorial and the first level so very early impressions. What is this game? A rhythm FPS. Is it good? So far, yes! How does it work? You run around and attack enemies to the beat of the song. The better you are (i.e. if you keep staying on beat), the higher your combo meter (and in turn your damage) goes. The higher the combo meter, the more layers of the song are revealed (vocals at the max level). Now, I've listened to some metal back in my younger days but the older I got the more I preferred rock. Couldn't enjoy the screams in metal anymore. However, I still do enjoy the riffs and holy cow there are some bangers here. Granted, I've only got access to three songs but man...the first boss' music: Pretty sure I headbanged my way through the boss fight
  8. Immediately reminded me of BotW and TotK. Empty, boring, useless. Thankfully, the combat is awesome and so much fun. I usually explore everything just to fight stuff But I would've loved some cool hidden treasures chests with better equipment and the sorts.
  9. Gotta say: Very disappointed with the open areas. There are no worthwhile rewards for exploration. Only crafting materials of which I haven't used a single one so far.
  10. Me right now:
  11. Ok, now that there was a flashback:
  12. I have only played the first one
  13. Soooo....gonna make a "bold" prediction Oh and: My goodness, this game's brutal. Edit²:
  14. If anything happens to Torgal I will break the disc in half.
  15. Definitely not locked And I'm tipsy, not drunk Man, Cid is badass! Completely missed your question. Yes I did, it's always fun making and drinking it I also got to see lots of friends again, most of which I haven't seen in over a year.
  16. I'm back, a little tipsy and ready to play I wish performance mode was locked to 60fps. It's quite jarring at times.
  17. Feuerzangenbowle!
  18. Have to stop for now. Took my time exploring and haven't found much because it's been linear so far I'm completely hooked! I love the world, the characters, the gameplay. Everything is top-notch! Now it's time for some Christmas shopping, Feuerzangebowle and waffles with friends and then hopefully some more gaming time later tonight.
  19. The pixel character icons are such a nice touch I LOVE THIS GAME
  20. How cool is Cid? His voice is awesome And Torgal...Oh how I've missed Torgal Goetz...no words. Edit: I do have to keep a dictionary at hand, though. The characters use some words that I've never heard before. I guess these don't come up often in everyday speech. Example: Nous.
  21. It has. I used my last 60 minutes of work to let it install (I literally didn't do anything else but wait ) and now I'm on holiday for 2 1/2 weeks. Time to play the crap out if it Decided to load up my demo file because it was still quite fresh in my mind. I've been blown away by it and remember pretty much all that happened. Fair to say: My muscle memory kicked in immediately and I had no trouble getting back in the groove. Fair enough. I do like me some reading, though
  22. Active Time Lore is soooooo good. This needs to be a thing for all RPGs.
  23. Ohhhh, my copy is on its way Hope it'll arrive soon so I can get some gaming in before I leave this afternoon. Can't wait to properly dive in tomorrow.
  24. It's even worse that people are starting to be disappointed or even angry when games don't release on Gamepass. "Well, then I won't be playing it". Everything Microsoft has done in these past years is terrible and makes me dislike them more and more. I gotta be careful not to turn into a console warrior
