Ahhhh, it hasn't been long but it feels good to be back in Kamurocho Playing the PS5 version and it's gorgeous. Obviously a cross-gen game but the city is a lot more detailed! Runs like a charm, too! As usual: Won't give a damn about the trophies and just do as many side-activities as I want

Downloading this now! Aside from the fact that it takes place in the Yakuza universe I know almost nothing about it. Can't wait to dive in!

Nice! This game's been on my radar from the start but I'll wait for it to be 15€ or be added to PS+ Your post kinda makes me want to churn out the 22€ for a copy from Amazon.de right now, though

Created a new Savefile on my Steam Deck for Slay the Spire. It's no secret that I love this game, and I've mentioned how awesome the Downfall expansion is. It always surprises me that I can get sucked into a run. This time I'm going to do runs with the "normal" characters for a while before going with the boss characters (they only work in their respective game mode, so any unlocks made with boss characters won't transfer over to the normal ones and vice-versa). The "normal" mode has been enhanced by a couple of new events and relics. The latter are really good. My fav: Always great when you can use a 2-cost card for one less Very interesting that my fastest victory almost crosses the "beat a run in under 20 minutes" mark for the achievement. Didn't even go for it. DAMN! Can't say it enough: for me, Slay the Spire is one of the best, maybe even the best game ever made. It certainly is on the #1 spot on my Top 10 list. I wish Downfall was available on Android

I heard that S.C.G. has one.

Ohhh, interesting. Can't wait

Done and Platinum get! 10/10. One question, as I'm not familiar with most of the Spider-Man characters:

That was surprising

Done all the side activities that were available to me. Not much left. Some districts only have one or two undiscovered activities in the map list. Guess I'll have to advance the story a bit. I assume I'm very close to the end, so the remaining side activities might actually be post-game stuff. There seems to be a lot of potential for DLC. A few characters have been introduced but their stories have left me hanging...

Definitely! I still have a few more to go. Looking forward to them Just hunted down all the remaining Hunter Drones. Caught myself swaying my head and occasionally my entire body when the flight sequences got intense This game is a blast!

Erm, excuse me? Can you not on a late Saturday morning?

Super Mario RPG (for Switch! - 17th November 2023)
drahkon replied to Julius's topic in Nintendo Gaming
The more I read about it the less I want to give it a go. Sounds like a game I would not enjoy. -
Most of the upgrades are your standard "more HP", "more Mana", "more Aura slots" (Auras are passives you can equip) type stuff, but you can also unlock new skills that may appear during a run. Gonna be interesting to see whether the stats upgrades become necessary to advance. Got my first "win" with almost no upgrades. I assume there will eventually be difficulty modifiers that make permanent upgrades necessary.

After 3 hours I "won" my first run. Pretty sure I was one hit away from death at the end. The boss made me panic quite a bit They do exist And they are pretty cool. As H-o-T said, this game came out of nowhere and I'm happy I became aware of it. So far it's a 10/10.

Very happy that I didn't get spoiled. That moment was so cool. And the aftermath is amazing, as well. Love the new enemy designs!

Boy, I was not prepared for this. And I did not expect to... Amazing!
-
Just experienced... HOLY COW, that was amazing

Yeah, if my first impression is indicative of the whole game, this should be the next big roguelite. No idea why there isn't much of a fanfare around it. It seems very polished and thought-out so far and plays like a charm. Lovely stuff. *goes back to bed to play this*
-
Currently on my first run. Absolutely incredible. It just plays and feels so well. And it seems to have all the nice little rogue-lite elements I love. Haven't encountered permanent upgrades, yet, but maybe I'll get to that once I die

But I want it to be Monster Hunter: World 2

Welcome to another episode of "drahkon embraces consumerism": Yes, everything for my Steam Deck I also bought more sushi rice and nori leaves because I fucking love sushi!

Ohhhh nice I got the "gyro" one, but the new ones are pretty cool, too. Thanks to the Steam Deck purchase I have a lot of points left. I might just buy a few and set the start up to pick a random video
