  1. Probably got sniped? The kill feed on the lower left corner shows who killed you and how. Yeah, it's difficult at first. I always recommend watching Tfue's gameplay on YouTube. He's insanely good. Plays on PC and is annoying (I don't like his personality, at least the part of it you see during his videos) but it helps to see how he builds, moves, approaches enemies, etc.
  2. There were supposed to be two Tweets in my post. No idea what's happening. Anyway, here is the second:
  3. And the is mine Thank God, this is over. The game itself is awesome, but the time trials are horrible. Well...the most difficult Platinum from the collection is done. I won't bother with the DLC level. Moving right on to Crash Bandicoot 2.
  4. Sweet Jesus. Why don't they show this to us
  5. WHAT? You didn't enjoy BotW?
  6. I don't know. Everything in that area just hurts
  7. Lower back and my buttocks.
  8. I wasn't too keen on the Battle Pass system, but I decided to pay some money because the game is such a blast. Have to say: It's pretty cool to get some challenges which require you to switch up your playstyle from time to time (e.g. kill enemies with a certain type of weapons, kill enemies in a certain location, etc.) and get some rewards, even though they are nothing but zeroes and ones
  9. It's free to play. You can buy in game currency (V bucks) and with that acquire cosmetics (skins, emotes/dances, pick-axe designs, etc; nothing game altering). For 10€ you can also buy the so called "Battle Pass". It includes 100 tiers: each will give you one "item" (cosmetics, XP bonus, ingame currency, etc.). You get weekly challenges (3 "hard" ones that give you one tier each, and 4 "easy" ones that give you half a tier). You get one challenge each day (for half a tier), too. There's also an XP system which gives you options to customize certain skins. I don't recommend buying the Pass right now, though. It's a limited event called "Season". Each season lasts 10 weeks. And there are only 4 more weeks left. By the way: If you reach a certain tier (I think this season it was around 60), you have earned enough V bucks to buy the Battle Pass for the next season.
  10. Fell down a ladder earlier today. Doctor said it's a really bad bruise (contusion? No idea what the correct term is in English). Well, only thing I can say is that it hurts like hell. Really hope I can play football next Monday. It's the biggest game in our hobby league. The Cup Final. Don't want to miss it, even though we'll probably get wrecked
  11. By the way: Friendly advice (@Glen-i JUST advice) to all the newcomers: Get used to building. Enable the "Builder Pro" controls and practice. I've neglected building at first and got my ass handed to me. Having the high ground is everything in this game, so build build build Edit: Best mode to practice right now: 50v50. Two teams of 50 players (duh), you have enough time to gather materials/weapons/ammo and move to the circle to enter a huge fight. Watch others build, try to build and just have fun
  12. Good point. Wreck those casuals
  13. Why haven't you played it on the PS4, yet?
  14. And as expected: No cross-play with PS4.
  15. Trust a third party dev to offer a more convenient voice chat option than Nintendo itself
  16. Earlier my mate asked me whether the release date has been announced, as he wasn't able to check. I told him, his first text (loosely translated): "Lol, why the fuck aren't they releasing this alongside their online service?" It's baffling to me.
  17. But ingame voice chat, right? Not OS based?
  18. Played this for the better part of an hour just now. Managed to get a lot of gold/platinum relics. Four more to go. It's painfully obvious that the levels of the first game haven't been created with time trials in mind. That's probably be the reason why some of times are very lenient. The biggest problem is completing the levels without dying. Never played the second Crash Bandicoot, but there haven't been time trials, either, until this remake, have there? Really looking forward to the relic hunt in Warped. The levels clearly have been created with a certain speed run mentality (which is emphasized by the final upgrade for Crash).
  19. Lol...and here I thought this was a new announcement. Guess there are two threads I created today that can be locked and thrown away
  20. They couldn't have chosen a worse time to release the game...
  21. Yeah, and with that I'm out.
  22. How do you know?
  23. Oh Anyway, very underwhelming Direct. What exactly was new? Fire Emblem: Three Houses (2019) DAEMON X MACHINA (2019) Xenoblades Chronicles 2 DLC (September 21st) Super Mario Party (October 5th) and a couple of Indies (?) Am I missing something?
