  1. Bless him, he thinks there's only one way to get to the Hidden Village.
  2. They didn't have time?? They made the game in 4-5 years! That's a huge amount of time. LOL, that's funny, you're telling ME to recognise others opinions? This from the man who said "And can you just accept the fact that most people agree with me, not you!" Please.
  3. At least you could see the devestation OOT Ganon had on the land. Not sure what Zant did? What could Ganon have done? Something would have been a start. Something evil, something to make us want to stop him. Something to add a bit of danger to the game.
  4. Fantastic easter eggs thanks for those. The're all great but one I'd like to point out is the dust/debris falling down when you open a door (but only the first time)... very nice attention to detail and I think it's about time that Link himself opens doors rather than them just magically opening as in previous games.
  5. I didn't remember the fact that monsters killed Kakariko. That shaman guy didn't seem to care much, and nor did anyone else in Hyrule Castle town. Sense of danger isn't a problem during the first 3-4 temples, it's after that that's the problem.
  6. I don't care if monsters killed everyone, that's a nice convenient/lazy way of not populating Kakariko/Hyrule with stuff to do.
  7. Get over it mate, a lot of people were left disappointed with TP and prefered the other 3D zeldas. You only have to look at the poll I started to see that. You just can't accept that the game has flaws. Once again, I'll say it since you seem to have a problem reading. Kakariko OOT was 11 years ago, and the first 3D town in a Zelda game. You'd think that after 11 years and 2-3 more 3D games they would have extended the town a bit. But as such TP Kakariko has: A bomb shop. A hot spring. Malo mart. And a house. Population: 2 (not including the children)
  8. LMAO brilliant!

They're quite harsh but to be honest they're mostly right when it comes to Wii games. They're trust-worthy unlike N-Gamer or N-Revolution.
  10. For someone who says they've played all the Zelda's except the CD-I ones you sure give up on a Zelda game easy. Call yourself a fan? You haven't played much of Zelda II, You never really got into 'the gameboy ones', you haven't played Link's Awakening, you give up on MM a lot before it gets good... On another note... 10/10/10 split between OOT/MM and TP at the mo.
  11. LOL whatever, the Earth temple and the wind temples, funnilly are temples. Regardless of how you spin it. And who are you to say that they're not places of worship, and even if they're not... what, like the Lakebed Temple in TP looks like a place of worship? I'm not complaining about a lack of fishing, I think they've done a good job getting fishing in there. I'm complaining about a lack of depth as many people on this thread have as well. The towns (Kakariko especially) are a joke, nothing to do, maybe 8 buildings, 4 of which are shops. There's less side quests than there were in MM and WW. Hyrule is very barren. What you have to realise is that OOT is 10 years old, the first 3D Zelda of it's kind. Of course it's not perfect NOWADAYS, but back then it was. I just think that after 4 years making this game, we should have got a more in-depth better thought out game. You love it fine, I just think it's a huge disappointment.

    6/10 in Edge.
  13. Actually if you look through this thread there's a fair few people who got bored with it after a few hours, a lot who were disappointed and even more who prefer OOT.
  14. Why would she be a descendant of the Gerudo? Where did you get that idea that a shadow, twilight being was related to a female warrior species?
  15. Finally you have the games you wanted... yet you're still waiting for those 13 games and lots more games?
  16. Definately getting that then thanks. And yeah the 4 leaf was the first thing I saw on second glance.
  17. That's weird, I've never even heard of Heatseeker. Looks interesting, well... the premise looks interesting. The visuals look crap.
  18. Kororinpa box art is indeed lovely. But isn't the game pretty much an exact clone of Super Monkey Ball??
  19. Thank you. Looks like so far OOT is just shading TP, with MM in 3rd and Wind Waker in 4th... but there's still only 19 votes so it could all change! I'm not going to get into any long posts (though 3rd yours was a good one).. sufficed to say it comes down to 4 games for me: OOT: Masterpiece of art, sound, story and pacing. MM: 3 day concept/time travel/mask aspect was pure genius. A couple more dungeons and it would have beaten OOT. WW: The most beautiful visuals I've ever seen in a computer game, gorgeous level design, fantastic characters, great story. Those two missing temples and mini dungeons for each triforce piece and it would have beaten OOT. TP: Fantastic game, made poor by some big flaws: story-telling, pacing, short dungeons in the second half of the game and lack of depth throughout the whole game. Nothing to do in towns and Hyrule is very barren oddly enough. Having said that, Midna was perfect, the story itself was a great one and the dungeon locations were amazing, there were some very cool items and the cutscenes were excellent. Little touches like the bridge on fire and the bridge duel + carriage escort + tear collection (in the first, and in my opinion superior, part of the game) were excellent and the bosses were very cool, if the easiest of any Zelda game. Winner for me: Ocarina of Time Odd, if you ignored the side quests you shouldn't have been able to get all the masks, meaning you shouldn't have been able to get Fierce Deity Link?
  20. I know there's a similar topic in the Retro gaming section but thought it would be interesting to do a poll so we can compare results... Since polls only allow for 10 results, the Oracle games have been mergend and Four Swords, being a multiplayer Zelda game has been ditched. If either are your favourites you can obviously say so on here. Let's see... (and tell us why as well)
  21. Fine, I accept your point that it was Hyrule Castle, although how a single room with a basement can be called a castle I'm not sure. I see you conveniently decided to ignore points 2, 3 and 4 of mine. Not got an argument against them? More people agree with you? That's hilarious mate. That's a classic. You haven't had one intelligent word come out of your mouth since you registered.
  22. Or Ganon gets resurrected in a futre game. Or Nintendo don't care about timelines and they just killed Ganon like that to make it look cool.
  23. You mean TP is in the other timeline? As in, the one without WW? So basically, WW Ganon is still potentially alive to fight another day since he still has the Triforce of Power?
  24. Dying standing up was just odd. It was also very implausible... how exactly does he come back to life in time for WW? Jasper, I see you're now saying the ending isn't very good. I thought you loved it last time you mentioned it? I agree the ending left a very bitter taste in my mouth, Midna doing what she did was powerful yes, but not satisfying in the slightest. And all she said was 'see you later'. Though it'd be madness for Nintendo to not bring her back seeing as how popular she's been with fans.
