Assault was very very different to the classic Starfox formula. I think there were too many on-land levels but regardless I still had fun. The visuals were also very nice. Adventures only became a Starfox game at the last minute hence how different it is to the others. Although it's no where near as good as Zelda, I loved it. Big adventure, great visuals, nice twists, nice variations on the story and some cool puzzles.

The problem with that reasoning mate is that ALLTP is 15 years old and OOT is 8 years old. Games should get better, they've had 3 3D Zelda games to get the mix right and they came up short with TP. Why can't we have both? MM and WW were big adventures and they had a huge amount of sidequests. Compare Windfall Island or Clock Town to Kakariko Village TP or Castle Town TP. I asked what the place was before Malo Mart. I was told a shop. It made me angry so I ranted. I've talked about many of the games good points, read back the last few pages and you'll see. Unfortunately I was completely ignored so that topic of conversation didn't continue. I'd like to think I have a bit more intelligence than Solitanze ever did. I'm glad you find my posts so entertaining It's an honour to decorate your signature bar. You're picking up the negative aspects, lately I've been talking just as much about the positive stuff. Look here's another one... I think the 'sense' functionality is great. Try building a discussion around that though.

Thanks for reminding me. Not to mention shops in Goronia and Zora's Domain. 6 shops in the entire game. 5 'houses' that aren't shops.

So 2 or 3 people is suddenly 'everyone' is it? Check back on the 'queer hero' thread for evidence. I find it bizarre that you completely dismiss the idea just because you hate the idea of playing a gay character in games you love. (and have no proof they're not)

Fantastic, Starfox is one of my favourite Nintendo series'. Loved the first game, loved Lylat Wars, loved Armada and loved Adventures...

Course it was a bloody shop? Fine it may have been obvious to you but another indicator of laziness, YET ANOTHER FUCKING SHOP IN TWILIGHT PRINCESS BECAUSE THEY COULDN'T THINK OF ANY PROPER SIDEQUESTS OR OTHER HOUSE/BUILDINGS IDEAS. Let's do a count: Kakariko Village: 3 houses you can go into. 2 of them are shops. Castle Town: 6 houses you can go into. 2 of them are shops (Goron and Malo) So that's 9 houses you can go into in Hyrule, 4 of which are shops. That says it all really.

I suppose when you compare it to Zelda it'll be hard for SFA to win. I'm not saying it's better than Zelda at all, it's extremely linear and some of the puzzles are too obvious. What I meant was a few of the puzzles were extremely cool. It got around 8/10 generally? Fair enough I thought it was far lower than that. I'd say it deserves an 8.5/9.

Prince Tricky is annoying but not as bad as I predicted after all the things I heard. Still, hearing "I'm hungry!" and his astonishing ability to be in two places at the same time were pretty bad. Awesome game though.

Actually she's probably been one of the most popular of Zelda characters to the fans judging by reactions on here.

Jasper you're changing your mind again! You've been saying non stop that you hate the multiple timelines theory and think there's only one. Yet now you're saying there are two? Oh and you don't like reading long timeline posts then don't. Your posts are usually pretty drawn out yourself.

to be fair, it's not like Zelda puzzles are that new and different these days anyway, they're pretty much the same sorta things in every game. All I remember was thinking every so often was how innovative Starfox Adventures was compared to Zelda. Of course it was no where near as good but somethings surpassed Zelda in my eyes. The bit where you had to remain calm by keeping the pointer stationary and not look at all the visuals (scary things around you): genius. I just thought it was a very fun, very big RPG. Dunno about that last bit. Play it, it's very good. Then again if you don't think much of Zelda you probably won't like it. It's Zelda Lite, but it's still a lot of fun to play (I think).

How can Starfox Adventures over-rated? Most reviews and people slate it! I think it's under-rated because I think it's brilliant, contrary to popular thinking.

Course I knew Adventures of Link existed. I played it the day it came out! PS: Leon's gay.
