  1. Well you've got lots of inspiration in here!
  2. Well said. Not well said. As I've said who are you to say that my opinions aren't based on true experiences? They're my opinions, you don't like them? Tough.
  3. What bollocks. I have my own opinions and preferences. Who the fuck are you to say that they're wrong. I don't like pro football, get over it and stop calling my personal opinions wrong!
  4. LOL brilliant.
  5. So my preferences and opinions are wrong are they?
  6. I think a career path in fantasy novel writing is for you
  7. Do you find calling people pricks (and generally being abusive towards them) makes you a bigger man/your arguments more valid?
  8. Firstly, thank you for your support. I am focusing on the negative I suppose. That little scenario made me laugh though BUT... hmmm, scones at a rugby match??? Afraid not mate. Pasties, pies and beer... And with regard to that last comment, you're a god among insects. As I said, when people don't like what I say they resort to abusive attacks. Meh, whatever turns them on, it's not like it affects me in any way. Your opinion. You're entitled to it. No I actually hate it. Pro football that is. Amateur stuff is great. Yup, thanks for the links.
  9. I love it when I read a stupid post like this, finding out the person's age makes it all become clear. Trust me, he didn't destroy any of my arguments. Read my posts, I said I've been to many football games.
  10. Yeah the skull man was very cool, like the teacher aspect to him, great stuff. Would have liked to see more closure though at the end and a final skill that's actually good. How disappointing was the spin attack?? Have to admit I got excited when I saw captures of the wolf whistling before the game was released, thought it would be a musical element like in OOT/MM/WW but I guess not
  11. Not gonna bother with an overly long post. I think my arguments are perfectly valid. You don't like them, so you don't. Your decision. Let's see shall I take my kid to a sport where fans are aggressive, segregated and where's there's a possibility of hearing things like 'Hey tumour boy, why couldn't you have died 3 years ago?' Or do I take him to see a rugby match where all the fans are mixed, get along great, have fun chatting and having a banter, and meeting up with the gentlemen players in the bar afterwards who are always on hand for a chat? Tough on. You don't like my points so you call them rubbish. Don't like them, don't read them. But don't tell me to shut up. As I said, hostile atmosphere in here. Wanna know what that reminds me of? I think you can guess. Clearly an expert at getting your points accross, not to mention the art of discussion.
  12. Zelda: wolf howling scenes... good or pointless? I thought the secret skills part of the game was excellent as was finding the golden wolf. Thought the actual howling part a bit odd though.
  13. England football internationals get 70/80,000 people. England rugby internationals get 70/80,000 people. Of course football hooligans are football fans, their hatred for opposing fans is what gets them riled up. Daft: great post, very good points and I agree with most of them. Nice one.
  14. But it's not. It's virtually non-existant.
  15. Can you post a link to the logos/visuals please Jasper?
  16. That is completely wrong, the entire mentality of rugby union and its fans is different to football. Having lived with rugby all my life and being a journo on the matter I can assure you of that. And you don't know what ignorance means. The fact that you're trying to call hooliganism 'illegal acts by a sports fan' says it all really. You've got no clue what you're talking about. First two links that popped up on google, there are plenty more where that came from.
  17. Sigh. What's the point in trying to explain I wonder. You're really clutching at straws here. Football hooliganism = http://news.bbc.co.uk/cbbcnews/hi/find_out/guides/sport/international_football/newsid_3089000/3089728.stm http://www.liv.ac.uk/footballindustry/hooligan.html
  18. I aim to please. At least I can type a proper sentence without any grammatical errors.
  19. Are you 12 King Boo? Oh wait, after a quick check, you're 14. That explains it then. I stand by my comments. Oh for god sake, if you really believe that paragraph mate there really is no hope.
  20. Very true but surely that doesn't excuse the first point? Ok, perhaps 'everywhere' was wrong. An ever present degree of hooliganism every so often is more accurate. Microphones? In rugby the player's call the ref 'sir' and don't talk back to them. If they do (and it's never swearing a la Rooney + others) the offending team loses 10 yards. You do in rugby. Segregation is done for the sole purpose of safety otherwise mass brawls, fights and general violence would break out. I wouldn't feel comfortable taking a child to a football match. Envy? I don't think so. I have. By not watching. Why no? 0-0 happens all the time, 90 minutes of watching players kick a ball between each other for me is boring. Obviously not for you lot. How many player scandals/violent cases have we heard about it the news? Of course it doesn't. The fact that it happened at all is sickening. This sort of thing just doesn't happen in other sports. Ok I respect your opinion. There's a fair amount of strategy fair enough. Not enough for me. Just because people watch it doesn't mean everything is rosy. I applaud football's popularity but again, that doesn't mean everyone is 100% happy with the state the sport is in. And I respect your opinions very much, you're the second intelligent poster who's replied to me on this whole topic so thanks very much. It's obvious I'm not going to convince any of you. I just enjoy a good discussion. He means the rugby premiership.
  21. Don't anymore. Got fed up with it all and couldn't stop nodding off. Not getting angry at all, getting a bit peeved at the amount of abuse I've gotten in this thread simply for stating my opinions but hey. Did I call you a chav? No. Did I say chavs make up a majority of football? No.
  22. Zell: My answer: no... because... (insert all my posts above)
  23. Would you prefer poofball or wendyball that others like to call it?
  24. Yes because talking about football when the thread titles asks if anyone follows it is so off-topic isn't it. You don't like my posts don't read them. This is a discussion board and I'm allowed to have an opinion. Once again though, when someone doesn't like what I'm saying they shoot me down calling me ignorant, a moron and saying that I should shut the fuck up and am full of it. Nice crowd this, you can tell it's a chavball crowd.
