  1. As Daft said: "Search and Destroy: opinions that don't conform"
  2. LOL, what a surprise, more abuse, more non-arguments. retro-lover questioned my posting, I replied to him. You don't like reading what I say, then don't. Simple as that.
  3. As opposed to you who hasn't put forth an intelligent argument all thread, resorting instead to name calling and throwing abuse at me just because you don't like what I say?
  4. Can you quote me where I said that last bit please.
  5. In a more overall Zelda note... one thing I LOVE about 'Four Swords' is the opening. Have a look... http://www.filefactory.com/file/4ff617/ The music, the way the sword comes in, title comes up, perfect. Much better than the non-existant opening in Minish Cap.
  6. I find N-Revolution the biggest waste of paper I've ever read. The thing I like about GamesTM is the amount of content. EDGE is excellent though and their reviews are very trustworthy if a bit presumptious and up their own arse at times.
  7. Not sure Fierce but speaking of talking to animals... Does anyone find talking to Epona as a wolf very weird?
  8. Why should I put the blame solely society? Those accusations aren't any where near as present in sports like rugby union, f1, cricket, athletics etc...
  9. Calling the sport chavball is stereotyping I agree. If it caused you annoyance then I'm sorry but it's what I like calling it. Certainly better than some alternatives I've heard (poofball, wendyball...) Saying that there is racism, homophobia, abuse, violence, diving, corruption etc... in the sport (ON SOME LEVEL) is not sterotyping, it's stating facts. Quite frankly mate, I have got hard feelings because I don't like being 1. called a liar 2. being told that my opinions aren't valid.
  10. Finally some progress, you can see where I'm coming from. The problem is is that my viewpoint is based on experience AND what I hear from friends and the media. Pretty well rounded bunch of sources wouldn't you say? God help anyone you meet who doesn't like football either! I have seen, I have understood, I still hate. Have a good day at school.
  11. I've been stating it over the course of the past 5 pages, not least a few posts back.
  12. I know a great deal about football and I don't like it. I wish I didn't though because pro-football is shite. (in my opinion of course )
  13. Glad you feel passionate about it. I have a similar passion for rugby union. I hate pro football because of the following points: - Corruption/Racism/Homophobism is present (not everywhere, but present) - Hooliganism - Disrespect/Swearing to refs - Segregation of fans (what a joke lol) - Hostile atmosphere - Overpaid footballers, who's gfs are usually page 3 models or the like - Prissy prima-donnas on the pitch - Diving and faking injury even after the slightest touch (if that) - Boring 0-0 scorelines - Many players are complete thugs off the pitch - Some supporters chanting to the opposition manager calling him tumor-boy (he suffered from one years ago) and singing 'Why couldn't you have died 3 years ago'. - Simple rules and tactics. Get over the fact that I don't like football and admit that my opinions are just as valid as yours and I won't say another word.
  14. Great read: http://www.le.ac.uk/footballresearch/resources/factsheets/fs6.pdf This wanker is telling me I'm not allowed to have a viewpoint on football, and that his opinion is more important/valid than mine. If there isn't racism in football, why are there endless organisations like this one? http://www.cre.gov.uk/gdpract/sport_kick.html
  15. I was going to answer until I read the last bit of your last post Right I'm done being as polite as possible. SHUT, THE FUCK UP. You have no idea how much I know about the sport, you have no right to tell me that I've only read up on it. You stupid little wanker, I've had enough of your holier than thou attitude. I'm telling you I know more about the sport than you think. DEAL WITH IT. You my friend are a stupid little brat who has a hissy fit everytime someone DARES to challenge your views that chavball is the greatest thing since sliced bread. Again, I don't give a fuck if you think my feelings are plastic. I think yours are plastic quite frankly. There you go, another stalemate. "They are not your own" More bullshit, keep it coming, this is funny. And I feel so sorry that your love of the game has twisted your appreciation for differing points of view. You should try this
  16. When people spout crap about my arguments and viewpoints, saying that they're not valid, I reply. I would have given up long ago if people hadn't called me a moron, told me to shut the fuck up and shouted that my comments didn't matter/weren't important/valid. They clearly need to learn the meaning of a discussion board.
  17. Because I've experienced them when I've been to internationals and premiership games and I see it on TV and I hear about it all over the place. I disagree. I know more than you think about the sport, and I stand by my opinions. Me versus you. Who wins? No one, that's the beauty of debate, everyone has a different viewpoint. Beautiful game? Hardly lol. (in my opinion of course) I don't really give a monkeys if you don't like it. I have been saying what I feel is present in the sport (in the stands, on the pitch, and off it). You'll not convince me my feelings are any less valid or important than yours.
  18. Eh?? Stupid little remarks? wtf? You go on and on about staying on topic yet criticise me when I try and do just that? Who are you to say that my comment about the spin attack was just a way of getting things back on topic? I was being completely serious, I think the spin attack WAS frustrating at first. Ok let's try and get back to talking about Zelda in a way that's not quite so forced just to please Jasper. lol, this board is amazing sometimes.
  19. There are two things that I've been going on about. - My opinions on football: I don't like it, I think the crowd are hostile, I think a lot of the players are overpaid diving idiots, I think a few of the players are bigots and homophobes... - And what I believe are facts: Hooliganism, violence, corruption etc is present to a fairly big degree on football etc... Feel free to disagree and challenge me on the latter... but Ant-Shimmin has been arguing that I'm not allowed to have my own beliefs (the former) which of course is completely wrong. In terms of the second thing, 'I' don't think those comments are stupid and I stand by them, but feel free to disagree. You won't change my mind, just like I won't change yours.
  20. When people stop dragging this post off topic by calling me a fool because I don't like 4 Swords or saying that they didn't think I could come out with anything stupider... then we'll be making progress. Some people just can't resist unfortunately. The spin attack was very frustrating at times in TP until I mastered how to do it properly.
  21. You are so full of bollocks it's crazy. I don't like football, my opinion on football is JUST as valid as yours. I dare anyone else to disagree with that. Ever heard the saying everyone is entitled to their own opinions? This 'countering' bullshit you keep spouting is just that, bullshit. And why not. Are you telling me I'm not allowed to hate pro football? That I'm not allowed to have an opinion? Get over it.
  22. "my experiences aren't indeed true" "my opinions are flawed" Do you actually know what you're writing??
  23. Firstly I watch union, not league. Second, you should check the definition of 'opinion': "the view somebody takes about an issue, especially when it is based solely on personal judgment" My personal judgment is pro football is shite. I don't like it and probably never will. How can you counter someone's opinion??? You can have your own opinion but it in no way couters another persons. Sorry and all.
