Is it me, or is -- remarkably -- Paris Hilton (and J Hudson) the only well-dressed, non weird, non ugly, non malfunctioning person in any of these photos? Notable examples: Anne Hathaway, Katie and Tom, SARAH JESSICA PARKER, those british non-celebs. It just struck me that the snappers took all their shots from the worst angles possible and made everyone look really ugly, including Rihanna with that weird stomach flap. The Pussy Cat Doll woman is freaking me out. Will Smith does look normal, but, you know, Scientology and all that. JB looks awesome though, obv. http://www.thisislondon.co.uk/showbiz/article-23489275-details/Lindsay+Lohan+wins+most+embarrassing+wardrobe+malfunction+as+Young+Hollywood+turn+out+at+MTV+Movie+Awards/article.do

I have to say I have some sympathy with this point of view. I would love to live in the Shire!

There should probably be a couple more exclamation marks in there. And maybe 'Surgeon' or 'Barrister'. Dr. Fuckawatra's Fitness! Baseball! Sudoku!..........Legal Aide?

Really? I was looking forward to trying out Dr. Fuckawatra's Fitness Baseball Sudoku!

Paradigms are like different coloured lenses. So say you have a subject (perhaps a frog?). You can look at that subject through a yellow lens, a blue lens, a purple lens or whatever coloured lens. Like a lens, a paradigm is a way of looking at something (and there are many different paradigms, just like there are many different colours!). The supporters of each paradigm think you should be looking through their lens, because it best explains the subject! For instance, in my subject (political science), we had a paradigm that was pretty popular for a while called Behaviouralism. Its grand theory was that political behaviour was /best explained/ by rigid, systematic, quantative research (of political behaviour). Numbers and graphs and all that. Other contending paradigms like Constructivism and positivism and postpositivism and so on say that Behaviouralists are talking shite: Numbers and graphs and all that are not the best way of explaining political behaviour. All these paradigms and the people that support them believe they /best explain/ the subject (political behaviour in this case). There is usually a dominant paradigm, so there's a consensus that this particular paradigm is the most successful at explaining the subject. When a new paradigm is judged to be better at explaining the subject than the dominant paradigm, the new paradigm becomes the dominant paradigm. That is a paradigm shift. I presume paradigmatic analysis is making a judgement on a particular paradigm, as to whether it's up to the job or not. Sorry, pretty shitty explanation but it's the best I got!

You lucky mofos! As soon as I get home I get shipped off to work a boring 9-5! When you have to spend 8 hours in a warehouse or sat at a computer doing data entry every day for three months (getting up at six thirty) you will plead on your knees for your old life, bumming around all day. tl;dr http://www.worldofwarcraft.com

I normally watch this a few times over the weekend after watching it on Friday but something's going on with 4OD. From what I remember it was a bit standard. Still funny as hell like, just, it won't be anyone's favourite.

Did anyone read about the Sentinel tribe way back when? Those guys who killed a couple drunken fisherman who strayed into the exclusion zone, and then fired a barrage of arrows at the rescue helicopter. I think it was near India or Australia or something? I could google it but I like mystery.

Europe has little to no effect on U.K. sovereignty. We can still do what we want and we still get what we want 99% of the time. Personally, I would prefer to join Antartica. It just seems like a continent with potential. Mainly for Ice Parties like on Die Another Day!

We were called 'sweaties' at my school, whether you were into Incubus or Maiden or Busted or Deep Purple or whatever. Not sure if that word is still in use. This was before Emo entered the general conciousness.

Good for them. Sticking up for themselves. 1) The Mail is wrong, as it is with so many things 2) Let them be who they are. Emo, a label which as I'm sure Shorty will tell you is wrong applied 99% of the time, is just the new mosher, rocker, mod, punk etc. (even if the music may be a little worse!)

A few rich familes have parties in my village every so often, loads of Porsches revving and Eminem blasting out until 3 o clock. When I was a kid I would jive in bed. I'm pretty sure our crappy ten year old MPV has some confidence issues now though, with all those jazzy sports car dealies. Katy Perry -- I Kissed A Girl why have I not heard this until tonight?

Just logged on to WoW and turns out my little brother is using my account to boost my other brother. Little buggers booted me back off! Can't wait to get back home, should be a good summer hanging out with them. If you have younger brothers (or sisters) and they really get on your nerves, don't give up hope! They will get awesome after 13.

Very nice. You nailed the hands. I d/l the Maya PE the other day to muck around and I forgot how difficult it was. I have no idea how I made that animated snowman in one day on that College course. I guess it's good to have a real life tutor.

Did 1st of 4 exams. Did about three hours solid revision (spent a week watching YouTube) and bluffed my way to a high 2.2, maybe 2.1 if the marker is nice. I actually ran out of time! I had an untapped pot of bullshit. Got some cider now, and listening to U.S. Top 40, going to play some WoW for the first time in a while. Here's to another year of bumming around!

I am an expert on most of the undiscovered galaxies of the universe. The first thing you need to know is that they are undiscovered. This is crucial.
