I could live without WoW, but I would probably have less fun and spend much more money. Console games are a 40quid-every-twoweeks habit. It's more games in general. I'm not sure what I would do with myself. Watch more movies, read more books I guess?

Yeah, I have some fond memories of GCXL. I think I joined when I was 13? So 7 years ago. I remember being a big klutz. Remember The Animal Crossing and Mordecai's Crystal Chronicles board? It's a new way of living and socialising and who knows how it will all work out. I turned out OK I think.

Guild is slowly progressing here. We're up to Curator but the DPS and tanks, especially the DPS, aren't gearing up with enough vigour. We have two geared druid trees, one geared priest, one geared mage and one geared rogue. But the rest let us down. I've been running heroics with everyone trying to get them geared up but they play too little and play alts too often. Plus, people are hardly ever on, and some have started Horde chars. I don't have a problem with that it's just we won't progress in raid content so we will have to bring outsiders in. Atm I'm just running heroics when I can, dailies, grinding SSO rep in MGT and playing my Warlock if I know I can't get stuck into anything for whatever reason. Still having lots of fun. Just got to be patient with the raid stuff. Heroics are fun enough, with guildies at least. PuGs are horrible, just horrible at heroic-level.

Most people are lonely these days, it's modern life. EDIT: And probably pre-modern life as well. Try rolling Horde?

Last night, on this sob: We got her to 10 per cent before we started to wipe, and we all slowly died until our RESTO DRUID tanked her on 1 per cent down to 0. Afterward we found out my Deathfrost enchant had on average slowed her down by 15 per cent, so well worth the 4 primals. I just leaped up and put my little brother on my shoulders. I can't believe how lucky we were. Then a feral druid with 'Of the Bandit' greens on and doing 2/3 (if that) of my DPS outrolled me on Bracers of Maliciousness, which I can't help but say soured the victory.

I recently -- Grabbed a couple S2 pieces (head + shoulder), and both Merciless fists -- Went combat fists -- Downed Moroes and got wiped by Maiden (), did 600 DPS -- Won the guild duel tourney (100g :awesome:) My guild situation is weird: it's a family and we're all weird and it's fun and all-ages but now we're getting to the nitty gritty of gearing it's getting kind of hard. How do you tell your friends that they need to pull it out and gear? I mean I love them all and we have lots of fun but we're not going to progress. Today: farm SSO rep, herb collectin', Kara tonight, possible trip to BF heroic.

The Night Blade dropped for me today, epic boe, that's on the AH now, should fund my Cobrascale epics....did 8k honour here and there, 'cos I either need S1 chestpiece or the Wastewalker before hopefully the Conniver piece drops in Kara...got Latro's Dancing Blade from MGT, need to go back and do Kael so I can get the epic AP gem...need to grind more honour for Wednesday so I can get the S2 weaps straight away, grabbed Helm of the Claw while I'm waiting for the Cobrascale hood.....productive!

We took down Attumen and Midnight tonight which was a great achievement for the guild, since we had 1 70 3 months ago (the GM) and tonight fielded a 10-man with no prior planning. We were all very happy with our BoJ, and some holy priest and healer shammy gear, and cleared up to Moroes but we didn't have the set-up to take him. One of our hunters was away and we had a Shammy so the CC wasn't there. I'm really glad we're in the swing now, going to do Moroes tomorrow. Although we do need some tweaking DPS-wise. By day I'm farming for Primalstrike and Cobrascale gear.

-- Finished exams. -- Went to Kara. -- Back to normal happy life.

So we gave up for the night after the Pug'd MT left and went on a Naked DM run. AH, stress relief!

Well, the guy who was playing in my place left the guild during the day to go to another one he'd been secretly applying to (while we helped him gear). So I stepped in and I am second on the damage chart so far. We got to Midnight then our MT and a hunter had to leave because of family issues, so we are outside Kara trying to get a MT right now (we brought in a warlock). Gearing is going well, have some serious farming to do.

I'm undergeared. I'm not annoyed about it, I appreciate that you need a certain level of gear, but I am sad that one of the guys that gets to go has similar gear to me (we are both similarly undergeared) but has only been with us a few weeks compared to my 3 months Problem is the jury is really still out on what to stack. I have 10 per cent hit but I don't think the raid leader really cares about hit.

Unbreakable I give a 9.5. I'm a huge fan. Signs is a 9. Village is a 7. Sixth Sense is a 6.5. Haven't seen LITW because it got slated.

I think a lot of it is confidence. You think to yourself 'People are going to ask 'Why are you drawing when you can't draw?''. But ignore those fools!

It's pretty rare that I disagree entirely with the critics from the papers and the mags (I won't talk about the web, Slate and The A.V. are about all I have faith in reviews-wise), but often I am more enthusiastic about things that are good than they are. Like I was crazy for Be Kind Rewind and they just liked it. Oh and I liked Marie Antoinette and they hated that. But I may be disagreeing with them over The Happening because I am a fanboi I don't like her style, but what she means essentially I think is that it's BIG, y'know, it's a big movie with big characters and a big premise and big visuals...and it just fails to do itself proud, and big things fall hard. And anything under 70 for a movie is a thrashing. No one goes to see a sub-80 film nevermind a sub-70. You want a 100 everytime.
