I bought a gameshark especially for Banjo Kazooie. That is seriously one of the best games ever. I activated a fly anywhere cheat to fly in the ice cavern, basically go through the non-existant ceiling graphics and get the ice key. Then there was another code that made banjo spin to the middle of the screen - which you activated when Banjo showed you the moving photo of climbing that cliff to get the egg (which appeared in your inventory despite it being just a movie he showed you) :P Then somehow the other eggs popped up too and I got them. A year or two later the official Nintendo mag posted sandcastle codes you could enter to make them appear...saving people the effort of doing what I went through. :p BK3 may tempt me to buy an Xbox, but unfortunately I don't think it will be anywhere near the magic of BK1...which Banjo Tooie wasn't either really (although good) .

My girlfriend was so lucky- we went to GAME a week before Christmas in Manchester and they had 1 left, with none left in any of the other shops. A brand new 60GB... fortunately I got mine a while back though.

It's not always the quantities, more the types.
-
What did they do to me? Nothing, it's not like I'm eating them. @Mundi bravo to people if they have the time to make stories about forumers- a lot of us wouldn't dream of having such free time. And really, you missed my point about people killing for beliefs. The point is, she's not that bad. It has nothing to do with money. And the second point to make from that...is that people can have beliefs that strong. Peace out.
-
Excluding my Salisbury steak? I wouldn't dare.
-
You do realise chickens...even the free range ones (to gain that seal they're not as 'free' as you think)...peck their bloody eyes out and whatnot? Not to say that I don't eat meat myself, before anyone calls me a hypocrite. But I can see what she believes in and do feel guilty, since I do know it's not just some food on the plate (and I do try not eat meat where possible). Oh well off to bed for real this time, most people here are hardcore in their beliefs so I feel the topic repeating itself. Nights.
-
Uh...but they feel pain? Either way, I didn't notice any human spastic pies in Tesco today...you know, the ones that aren't self-aware. :awesome:

There lies the problem. We can't complain about forcing beliefs when we're basically forcing an animal down our throat. Well, you could complain, but it wouldn't count for much. I don't think anyone would argue that the slave trade was wrong...and vegans sort of see it the same with animals but worse, because of the conditions. In fairness, Islam or Christianity are religions with no proof of a God or heaven whatsoever, and more proof to say they're made up. I would feel annoyed if someone tried to force a religion on me. Animal cruelty though is pretty much a given and leaves her, and hopefully many others, with something much stronger to believe in preventing. =/

Seeing as I'm still up... If she had been using caps to get attention then she would be a drama queen, not because people were winding her up and it was a matter that she feels strongly on. Your quotes funnily enough miss out the digs here and there and the attempts to basically call veganism 'wrong'. When the prophet Muhammed is insulted, some people actually go out to kill people in real life. Believe it or not, some people feel that strongly about things. It's not the same as simply believing something with veganism, because the way they see it the animals don't have a choice and people simply don't care about the conditions etc. To them it is as clear cut as the slave trade. You of course want to frame her as a bad person. Of course, she went way over the top. But she is definitely no bad person, despite how angry she got after practically everyone turned on her, and really it's a shame that some people continued to goad her after she got that mad. I never bother to take notice of people who try strengthen another person's post to make it 'right'. Numbers mean nothing.
-
If you say so...either way I've got more interesting things to right now. Toodles.
-
I just had a look at the topic, she wasn't posting in caps from the beginning, and to be honest people were being blindly ignorant and telling her how veganism was wrong and that she was malnourished. Astounding ignorance and grouping up led her to get angry with you guys. Compared to some of the replies in this topic, she can't be considered an idiot. Come on, a moderator mocking her when she wanted help by saying "I'm a butcher", therefore not being able to do anything. That's really not on. In that waffle you stated she wouldn't do it, so it was never a threat, really just a daft remark that was only really an insult (if a strong one). *sigh* she wasn't banned.
-
You rip them all apart hotshot? Behind your sturdy monitor with a grimmace of steel?
-
Was it really a bomb threat? Think about it. I'll go and hand myself into the police next time I mutter 'I'll kill him' after my little brother borrows some of my games, since obviously what people say is always what they mean, and inevitably carry out.
-
She must have deserved to get out of here since she requested to be removed. This is the kind of attitude I'm talking about. "Idiotic drama queen" - bollocks. You don't know my girlfriend, but her beliefs were literally ripped apart. Of course she doesn't think you are vegan, but that doesn't mean you go taking the mick out of what she feels strongly about. If someone on here said they were a Muslim and believed strongly that Mohammed was the prophet of God, like hell someone would go and rip their beliefs apart. But it seems that belief in something much more realistic, yet with the same passion, is something completely open for a slamming. Some of the members on here...

That's how bad it is. They don't even have to try, it's an innate quality.

I'm a fan of equal treatment too, which is why it's a shame that, as Villain's post also seems to suggest, people of this forum seem to act differently to women. With some people it's "omg woman and Nintendo in 1 place!1!", then with others there seems to be a nasty attitude and group bullying. One person was banned shortly after her signing up, and some of the replies in this topic have hallmarks of jumping the old bandwagon and ignorance. She asked to be deleted from the forum because some people were so nasty and persistant, and it's a damn shame since quite a few people did like her. A lot of people here are very nice, but like many forums there are some people who go out of there way to spill verbal diarrhoea.
-
Why are you all being assholes out of interest? Is it in your nature to call someone a terrorist because they reacted to an obvious snide remark? I don't quite know why someone is 'sorry' for me that I actually have a partner...which is more than can be said for probably 80% of this userbase. I mean, it's a Nintendo forum for Christ's sake where most of the people seem to be young adults. =/ Just a tip guys, when a woman does actually sign up to here, try not to be an asshole. In fact, don't purposely be an asshole to women in real life either. Nothing good comes of it, most of all if you don't want to spend the rest of your life rubbing into a towel you'll do well to see sense.
-
It won't because after they're 16 they'll just become fatter than whatever PE has taken off, thus reiterating what I've said. PE is a load of bollocks.
-
Yes, it should DEFINITELY be optional. The reason is that 10 years on from your last PE lesson they will have counted for absolutely nothing, not that it does anyway really since it's such a short amount of excercise and so infrequent that it probably does little. You only really need to excercise when you're older and at risk of heart attacks, atherosclerosis and the like. At that age it's not going to do anything, and it depends on the person themself after school to keep fit.

Wii Beats Xbox360 In UK And DS Beaking Records Sales..
Sheikah replied to Dante's topic in Nintendo Gaming
Dear lord...this post...burn it....BURN IT....BURN IT!!! A ridiculously easy platformer with an enforced horrendously infuriating story, and for most of the game poorly designed backdrops (town springs to mind). I felt completely shafted of my £32 when I completed that game. -

In fairness RE4 is practically ported, Paper Mario is one of the worst games I have played in the last 3 years, Excite Truck is nothing to get excited about and Zelda was intended for the gamecube. This is coming from a proud owner of the Wii from launch. -
pirating Wii is popular in the Netherlands

For the record I have an umodded PS3, Wii, GCN, PS2, PS1 - in fact all the consoles I own. A-hole! -
I love the music too...but wouldn't the MK64 mini snowmen level add to the awesomeness?? Vote yes. Here it is:
-
Oh yeh RedShell, please upload the Tingle's Rosy Rupeeland good ending video. Solely because I cannot be arsed to get all the Ruppe goods. :awesome:
-
Sorry but this surely deserves a topic. Brilliance! The front page banner is really Christmasy, as is the music. Can I make a suggestion though...try get hold of that sound track that plays on MK64 / MKDS where it's snowy and there's the little snowmen that you can crash into. That music is so swell.
