Hey ReZ, I saw you were doing the raid last night. Are you up for doing it on Thursday at 8PM too? Rewards for doing it reset tomorrow and all. If you can let me know then I can see how many additional players I need to get.

It's gonna be Thurs as the first team is full. You'll be with me! Hopefully Zell can tag along too as well as Daft's alt. I can grab another couple of players on Destiny LFG on the day if nobody else joins us.

I'll switch to a new Thursday raid so Drift can play on Wed. Who's with me Thursday? ;-) @Zell?

Not played the game yet unfortunately. :p Still need to play Bayonetta 1 first, too.

Can't believe you got all three raid pieces you needed in one run @Eddage. Sickening, almost. :p

I wasn't talking about hitting the owl as that was generally a pain in the arse enough, having to leave the dungeon. It's not a big deal, just a small note that I do somewhat agree with Rummy that it takes away some of the "ZOMG" time-limited factor in that you can standby it with such ease. Further to that, the way other people play does bother me somewhat, even if I'm not doing it. Funny how that is, really. Like Fire Emblem. You can bet your ass I carried on playing it in classic "you die you stay dead" mode, but the fact they added easy mode in was still ever so slightly not cool.

The thing about pausing on consoles though was that it never really felt like a long-term solution. You couldn't really leave it overnight in my house, if it was hooked up to your main TV. When I was younger you could bet your ass it would be turned off. A lot of people don't like leaving their consoles on overnight/for long periods of time due to overheating. And if I remember rightly, N64 was pretty prone to freezing. Then you'd lose all progress since the last song of time... Standby mode, handheld plugged into mains (let's face it, most of the time we play our handhelds at home)...can pretty much be left as long as you like. Standby almost feels like it's off, and even if it wasn't plugged in it can last for days. More a technological issue than anything else, this.

Did you guys have any luck with hard raid? Saw you guys playing it while me, Zell and a randomer on my list were doing nightfall/weekly heroic. Took my Vita home with me this weekend, hopefully I can remote play to buy some stuff from Xur. No idea how well it'll hold out to play over the internet, though. My upload speed at home is wack.

I hope the game clock carries on running in standby. Is the special edition only available from the Nintendo store? I'd much rather order it from somewhere like Tesco if they had it.

Yeah, he's essentially a spin doctor, one with his strings very much being pulled. Saying sales doubled is factual, albeit incredibly douchey and worthy of derision. Also many devs do care about console power because it lets them make games more impressive than the last generation. This applies more to western studios though, as we've seen that many Japanese gamers aren't exactly head over heels with new consoles. For the west, gamers very much wanted an upgrade to their old last gen systems since they had been in the 360/PS3 generation so long. That's evidenced by the PS3 game sales figures dropping while the PS4 continuously reaches #1. So also, devs want to be on the more powerful consoles because the more powerful consoles are where most people want to be.

I'd probably be able to get on around 7:35 ish earliest. Not sure, maybe that's enough time? Second thoughts, looking more like 9PM I'll be available now. Anyone about then for nightfall then? @Zell?

@Zell @Shorty I am being stupid. Totally forgot I am going back to my family's house tomorrow for the weekend, sorry. I might take my Vita to do remote play to log on for Xur though. I'll be available tonight...said I'd be up for hard raid but not sure whether I'd rather attempt that or do nightfall. I know nightfall can be soloed but it'd be quicker to team up.

Yeah if Zell or Shorty cancel you'll definitely be next to join.

Again, I still don't understand how you can claim in any way that you'd lose track diversity (in even a single aspect) by opening it up to any Nintendo franchise. They can can cover any Nintendo franchise they want, not just the ones that have a playable character related to them.

It'd kill track variety...u wot m8? Having every Nintendo related game universe to draw from versus one (that has been drawn from time and time again already). HMMM...

How do you know it would destroy the franchise? Aren't people playing it because it's fun rather than that the character they play as has a certain kind of hat the they see from the back of their karter's head? And no, you're definitely averse to change. Because the mere suggestion of change would imply that Nintendo wasn't pretty much perfect in the first place.

The input lag for my W6 is pretty much non-existent on regular mode, and game mode has no visible drop in image quality. Also out of the 154 TVs tested on HDTVTest, the TV you're looking at ranks #1, so you really can't get any better a gaming experience.
