  1. I first got into Ghibli cos my sister had Spirited Away and Princess Mononoke, and I gotta say I prefered Princess Mononoke(don't get me wrong, I loved Spirited Away, but preferred PM). I may be biased somewhat however, as I've seen Spirited Away the least of all my Ghiblis, as the disc was cruelly scratched like...shit, about 6 years ago when I was watching it at work. I'm also quite a fan of Nausicaa, I think ones like Spirited Away and Ponyo are a bit too sugary for me, not enough of a bit of evil in them for my liking :p As for what to watch, watch Pom Poko!
  2. Omgomgomgomg! Too true! Jesus, those got me a name in school cos they were 25p on the bottom rack of the vending machine, and I used to breeze through a minimum of two packets a day, if not something up to 4 sometimes. Jesus they were tasty! Ice Cream Soda/ was my least favourite, orange and cola were the bessst! Actually, maybe I liked the green ones least. What were they? KiwiandPineapple or something?
  3. Click the link in my sig or check the playground, get involved!
  4. I'm pretty sure such a case has actually existed. Got no reference atm though, or time to find one, will look into it if I remember.
  5. We noticed recently how very possibly sexual all these fruity characters were.
  6. Is that not supposed to be a wedding cake?
  7. I don't eat as much sweets as I used to, but as a kid I was a proper sugarfiend(probably evidenced by my recent dentistry). I think my favourites would have to be Haribo's, gummy sweets and all that, usually Tangfastics but anything'd do really. Or a good ol' bag of penny sweets from the newsagents. Daft raises the most excellent point of skittles, though after a while they all just start to taste like a generic mass of sugar and texture to me. Does anyone remember nerds/dweebs/etc? Recently I have gotten quite a hankering for fruit pastilles, and the occasional jelly baby. EDIT:Totally just noticed Rinha already mentioned Nerds. Can you still even get them??
  8. I'd seen the Lion King one, thought I'd refrain from posting it as it's already JUST SO GODDAMN SAD :'(
  9. I think I used to talk in my sleep, now I don't think I do. I remember sleeping with a girl once who used to talk and shit in her sleep, that took me a while to get used to, cos I'd be half asleep and so confused, not possibly thinking she was sleep talking but most definitely talking to me. All I've been reported to do is snore a bit these days. I also urge you all to check out this blog/site, you may have heard of it. It's called Sleep Talkin' Man, and about a guy who sleeptalks, and his wife records it, and blogs every day with something he's done, usually audio clips included, pretty funny shit sometimes; http://sleeptalkinman.blogspot.com/
  10. Graphics man! Happy Birthday!
  11. Oh my, a very obviously overlooked beverage! It's all about the mango for me I'm afraid, Guava or Lychee at a push. Having said that, I've never actually ever had or seen a real life Guava, and spend my days infinitely searching for one. By infinitely, I might mean infinitely not/I check the shelves when I see somewhere selling fruit.
  12. The original formula was SM64, and tbh I don't really feel they've gone very far from there at all. (Note, I didn't play SMG2 yet, but that's because I found SMG1 good, but a bit lacking for me. It was too linear and hand holdy, even sunshine was less so, but SM64 the king) Excellent suggestion imo.
  13. Five second rule people, the rule was made to be used! I once went to the kebab shop after I had been to the pub, but I dropped my tissue and it started to blow away quite swiftly down the street, I eagerly ran after said tissue, getting to it and stopping sharply to stoop and pick it up, whence one leg/foot lacked all grip and I slipped flat on my arse. I had the tissue, but dropped my delicious dirty fatty kebab upon the mean/probably quite unclean streets of welling. Being drunk at the time, I promptly invoked the five second rule and picked my kebab in its pitta up as fast as I could, and later ate it. It was good. I am actually still alive.
  14. A good idea indeed! I think we had one of these before thanks to jay, but I promptly fell off of it due to commitments at the time, but I like the idea and consider myself in!
  15. Whilst Guile is forever at the forefront of my mind as I do the epic things of daily life, such as having a wee, making a sandwich, or drinking a cup of tea, like a massive gay I've gotten this song proper stuck on me in the last 48 hours. It's a classic, but not one I actually hear around much! Also totally forgot/didn't realise who she was, and I had a good ol' wiki refresher, goodtimes. Interesting(mildy), and stunning, lady.
  16. I watched Episode 12, and I'm sorry to say if that's the best episode, then I'm pretty sure Comedy Rainbow is a bit shit. I say I'm sorry, but really I think YOU should be apologising. I can see it hitting the realms of it being so unbelievably bad it full circles round into being good, and being a terrible guilty pleasure.
  17. Not the easiest to see, but I don't have a scanner(yet, should hopefully have one this week as it happens), here are le paper telephones. This one fell a bit short because nobody wanted to draw, it ended with a squiggle;
  18. Coming out to us about something?

  19. Rummy

    OH, CRAmP

I was expecting a hilarious followup of 'Painfully awkward.' It's funny because cramp is painful, and awkwardness can also be describe as painful despite not being so. And also because ReZ would get it. For me, it's pretty much this. Though I'm sure I've maybe once or twice had it in my leg, but never really anything above there. Usually if I get it anywhere(foot as it tends to be) I just stand on the affected leg and we're done, I guess if I had it in the arms I'd do something similar of putting my weight on said limb?
  20. Love it. Get it on facebook and tag me in it so I look awesomely popular. I joke. It's a good cut though, didn't realise you were filming half those things. It's also still, despite my age, terribly weird to hear one's own voice off a recorded device and not resonating through one's own head.
  21. Godfuckingdammit Odwin! You got lucky! I was meant to add Jay and Twozzok and I added YOU and Twozzok with a misclick. I'm too lazy to go through the rigmarole of removing you as a friend right now, and so you've won this battle. I may totally remove you at a later date without notice though. Godammit, nobody's made it through my elite facebook defenses before! GODDAMMIT!
  22. I used to fluctuate over the range of a stone or so, then kinda half a stone, now I'm just slowly creeping up in weight. It's probably a metabolism thing, seeing as you're a crazy natural thinny, I imagine sometimes the metabolism slows for various reasons. I honestly don't know though, I'm not like a biologist or anything.
  23. That pasta actually has boobies in it. I was surprised nobody noticed/mentioned it at the meet.
  24. I don't know how but the first two times my brain couldn't comprehend the 'something with' in that, and I actually thought it said you plan to do me one day. Actual truefax. Not awkward now at all. Especially not for Molly. Come to the next london meet! Then you can have me on facebook! Or arrange a minimeet I can attend and we'll both endeavour to befriend each other there, and we'll be best facebook friends forevaarrr!
  25. Well it looks to be pretty certain that his copy abilities are out of this game, bit of a shame but his other moves might make it all right. Also, I think I said it before in this very thread, Yoshi's Story does seem quite short(and yes, it is) but it's actually a really big game with lots of replayability and things to find/get, plus the whole score attack can extend it a bit. If you had the patience, that is. Admittedly I haven't played it since I was a kid, but the original Kirby's Dream Land was quite a beast of a game for me to manage to complete, I remember the first time I did I was so happy. Then again, most of the games I struggled with as a child come quite easy now, so maybe I *should* play it again...if I knew where it was.
