I bought the first one but never really got into it. Think I got overwhelmed and a bit lost too quick. Ive played a bit of the demo and I want to like it. I think having a story linked to BotW is making me more interested but I’m still not 100% sold on it yet. I’ve done the first two missions and they were fun to play around with. As @Jonnas mentioned, Impa seems a bit complicated at first. Also there seems to be a lot of extra button combos such as eating to replenish health, then using stasis/magnesis and such. I hope that doesn’t get too much. How long/how many stages does this demo have?

I never played these and never really had an interest in them but for some reason I feel I want to play these given what’s been mentioned here. So I may give these a chance.

Well that was a different race but still had some excitement. Shame for Max there but Lewis showed he is still number one. Yes he got a bit of luck with the VSC but i think he would have passed Bottas even without that. Bottas had some damage and was generally slower. Merc now 7 time champs too.

Great fun. Thanks for organising @Glen-i shame @RedShell messed up the Sexy Nurse gag. I actually hope that cause they added a second page for just the two new Halloween emotes it might mean we are getting more later on. We need the Shrunk Funk Shuffle back.

Credits just rolled on Galaxy with 95 stars. Still my favourite Mario game. I love everything about this game. It’s visually stunning to look at even now, controls are tight and intuitive. Levels are designed with great detail and boss fights are some of my favourite. That final battle with Bowser is so much fun. My only gripe is the Spring power up and be a bit awkward to control but with practice it does get easier. I did fine it easier this time round, that one level where you traverse the 8bit Mario to collect the star bits then have to get back to the start was a pain first time round. This time I did it first try with no problems. Even the Dare Devil comets I’m not struggling too much with. Still died more times than in the normal level but nowhere near as much as in the original. Now I’ll go for 120 stars.

Didn’t realise this was an old thread when I started reading it. Was a little confused when reading that @MoogleViper had only just got broadband and it was only 500k then I saw the dates. Lol. Made more sense and was very interesting to see things.

Heard this earlier. Absolute legend. And one of the few actors with such a recognisable voice. Loved Dragonheart too and yeah that voice coming from a dragon was something else. RIP

What about @Ugh first aid? Does she still play?

Good thing there’s no mushroom only choice for coin runners. 😝 Also, when did @viceview51 get so good? You’ve been constantly up the top end lately.

Some great games thanks all. Two in a row for me and one was with little Mac. Some funny moments to that just made me stop and laugh.

I do like a mushroom only night. It can take out 99% of the fun and mayhem but it’s nice to get a pure driving night in. Coin runners can go to hell though. I just can’t read the map whilst I’m zooming around to get the coins and end up just running around hoping for the best. As such just the one close finish from me highlight wise.

There’s no mushroom only option for coin runners so I’ve gone with none.

I have just completed the NES build. Just the console, not the TV set yet. But WOW, this set is amazing. From being a near 1:1 replica (I swear without looking close you’d swear it was a real one sitting on a shelf) the the neat little Easter egg and all the cable slots (power, A/V) the attention to detail is perfect. But my favourite part of the build has to be the fully functioning cartridge slot. You lift the front panel, slide the cartridge in and push the holding button down. It clicks in place and then it clicks up again when you push it down just like the real thing. How they thought it up and implemented it is astonishing to me. I’ve been looking at the tine bit that does it and it still amazes me. To me the controller seems a perfect 1:1 replica, just holding it feels like it used to. The buttons are in the right place were my thumbs rest and it just feels like holding the real thing. I mean just look at the last photo it just looks so real. Amazing job by Lego on this build.

I’m enjoying Galaxy more than the other two to be honest. Just something about the game that makes it so special. 64 was annoying me with the camera and Sunshine was just taking it out of me. Probably just Mario fatigue. If you’re not desperate to sell I’d hold off until Nintendo stop selling it. You may be able to get more for it then.

But it’s right there, in the non-doctored video. see all those pumpkins, you know like the ones you stole. Yep. Maybe you’ve been eating those turnips you buy. I don’t think they are healthy to eat, that’s why everyone sells them.
