Yup. The song was in the original VHS version and was the original cut of the film, but it seems the director or someone didn't like how it flowed and cut it from the DVD releases and pretty much every broadcast viewing. Many people have been lobbying for it be put back in. Seems Disney finally listened.

OK, so I thought I'd ask this here as I saw it mentioned in the Smash online thread after we played our games this week when I mentioned I was off to watch it and it seemed a few others were too. Is The Muppets Christmas Carol the best adaptation of A Christmas Carol every, and also is it up there as the best Christmas film? I have watched the film every Christmas Eve for the past 11 years, I even have a copy of the film which includes the only recently re-added song by Belle. Disney+ now includes the full version of the film.

Never mind top contender, it IS the Best Christmas Carol adaptation. I mean "Light the lamp, not the rat! Light the lamp, not the rat!" maybe the funniest line going. Anyway, if we do play next week for New Years Smash, I will be available.

Thanks for the games, and Hazel. managed to get a few wins in there. Does seem like a sweet spot. Glad to win the final fight before Christmas too. And with that its time to continue my Christmas Eve tradition and watch the greatest Christmas film ever made, The Muppets Christmas Carol.

Unfortunately won't be available tonight. Sisters birthday and we are all going to the panto. Doubt I'll be back before 10.

Just putting these two in as it seems not as detailed and good as last years breakdown. Anyway, yes I still play AC daily so that's up there. I'm guessing Smash is above Mario Kart due to the hours played, as I play MK each week too.

@Glen-i, you know this has to be done one Thursday. No one will ever like us again but it's hilarious.

Some great games again, @Glen-i, shame on you for that last place with Samus though. Early heads up, I probably won't make next weeks games. Sister has booked the family in for a panto next Saturday and I don't think I'll be home before the end of Smash.
