I have the PC version too. It doesn't recognise your graphics card being such an old game, you're going to have to make do with software rendering I'm afraid. And BTW the patch the guy above mentioned doesn't help it recognise your graphics card, sorry and the MIDI sounds even worse! Oh and it locks up when you do the Chocobo races if you're using XP, you have to download a patch for that. http://files.vgpro.com/file/3245 Here, this should work.

Good buy! I must have completed Shenmue countless times and Shenmue II on Dreamcast is so much better than the Xbox version, the voice-acting is Japanese (subtitled) it's voice-acting is so much more convincing and more suited to the game than Shenmue's english speaking. Xbox'ers got the crappy english robots and the graphics are pretty much identical unbelievibly. If anyone wants a copy of Shenmue 2 Dreamcast there's one in Gamestation in Telford Town Centre if anyones' nearby which I doubt. Just completed Shenmue II again, which made me remember another awesome gaming moment. Sega for the last time; give us Shenmue III, NOW! *sobs*.

Playing Shenmue for the first time, it's hard to describe it but when I was walking through Dobuita for the first time I actually felt like I was in Japan. Games don't get much more immersive than that. Amazing.

I agree there, I loved Beyond Good and Evil to death, I was just getting into it and then...it ended, no side-quests, no real incentive for a second playthough, I wasn't satisfyed at all. I just completed Final Fantasy X after 60 hours of journying, then I found there was ANOTHER 60 hours of gamplay left for sidequests alone, it was a much more satisfying game and therefore superiour in my opinion solely on length. Decent Length is a must for most games I buy now (Killer 7 is an exception) But as graphics get flashier most games are going to get even shorter I'm afraid...

I bought the PS2 solely for it's DVD player at it's release -- I knew my Dreamcast was a million times better at the time but the cheap DVD player did it for me; success is an understatement.

The manager at my Game fixed my computer and gave me loads of demo discs and such, we talk about gaming a lot when he should be working, pretty freindly staff at mine - and can you blame them for having a small GameCube stand, seriously... I like Gamestation more though...

They should have never made the characters talk, it ruined the sort of mistique in the older Sonic games.

What's everyones deal with TOS's music!? Other than the ending music it was all rather generic in my opinion. I try to respect others' opinions but I just don't understand this. *Plays Tales of Symphonia* Nah, still sounds crap. Play a Squaresoft game.
