Yeah, we should all back our local team, but that isn't gonna happen, I live in Leeds and they're rubbish lol. If I support any team it's Man U, simply because I like wacthing them play, they're always entertaining and play the full 90+ minutes.

Exactly. Mario made a successful transition to 3D because he stopped doing what he did in 2D and found a new appraoch. I don;t think Sonic's speed works in 3D. I played Sonic Adventure 2 and it was frustrating at best. The speed was there but I found I never really felt I was in control during the high speed sections, although they did look good and gave a certain thrill. I also found the camera to be APPALLING. Maybe some games were meant to be in 2D. Castlevania never worked in 3D. Metroid did. Obviously a lot is down to the developers on games like that. But sometimes it's also the core concept of the game.

How could you!!! She was my MVP at the end, I loved her, she was like a tank. The only Chapter where she performed poorly for me was the last one. I really loved Haar, Jill, Oscar, Kieran, Shinnon and Zihark. I also thought Tibarn and Naesala were brilliant. I didn't use a single mage though as I don't like them. I had a super hard 'cavalry' and 'air cavalry' which stormed forward relentlessly whilst the on foot guys cleared up any mess left over.

Nope, you don't have to sacrifice anyone, I didn't! I made it right through to the end and completed it with out a single death! But sometimes it is frustrating, you can get to the end of a very long chapter and lose one person through a freak accident and then have to restart, it's very annoying. It's all about how much you care for the characters and whether you can be bothered to keep a perfect record. I loved them, and I wanted to make sure they all survived.

Gates also said in the same article about how much Viva Pinata gets played in his household! Well it's about the only place it does get played, barely anyone brought the game lol

My only worry about an N64 is the controller and whether the analogue stick is screwed up or not.

I don't get the idea of the friends codes. It's total crap. Basically it just means that to play you have to know someone who is already online, you should be able to log on and play anyone. Total shit. Nintendo should sort it. I think Nintendo produce the best Multipalyer games as well, Mario Kart, F-Zero, Smash Bros, Battalion Wars, but for some reason I doubt a lot of them will be online.

Just what we all thought. It's shame no one bar Nintendo has really even bothered to make a decnt looking game. Well, maybe Red Steel, but you can read one review which says the graphics are great and another that says they're total crap. Very confusing!

Always stick with the official ones, I've never had a problem with mine, but have heard of a lot of 3rd party ones corrupting the data.

I see your point. However I love Halo and MGS. I'll be honest, I haven't played GTA, it really really doesn't appeal to me at all.

I wonder which characters return! I hope the Black Knight comes back. I reckon he surivived the castle collapse and dug himself out, or teleported at the last minute. As wecan see, Reyson is in it, and it looks like Ranulf, Lethe and Mordecai can be seen too. I hope Haar and Jill come back, oooh and Shinnon, I loved that guy.

Exactly, I'm asick of people quoting the specs at me over the graphics issue. Some people on this board talk a load of technical jargon saying what the Wii is capable of, then you see shit looking games. A spec sheet is not what matters, it's how that translates into actual games. I don;t care what people say the Wii is capable of, the games (with a couple of exceptions) look like poo.

I'm surprised anyone voted for Mario Bros. I personally love most of the games on that list, with the exception of GT and GTA. I think both of those seriesappeal far more to casual gamers and have never appealed to me. I don;t doubt that they're decent games, I just don;t think they should be held up with the likes of Mario, Zelda, FF, RE and MGS.

Too right, it's not that hard to breeze right through it if you don;t care about the characters. It took me a while to beat, but not one of my characters died. However, I didn't get every character to join my team that could've done.
