How are they completely different? In editorial reviews, both of these things are taken into account to derive one final score, comparison of standards on other platforms and also other games in the series if its a series.

^-- Score range, 9.0 to 9.4/10 overall is that right? (When you average out your 10/10 in comparison to other games but only 8.8/10 compared to previous Zelda games).

I just did something really stupid... I beat the game, but didn't break Otoris sword in the final sequence, got the sad ending and now theres no way for me to obtain the "happy" ending other than to play the whole game all over again as I didn't make a copy of the file. This is gonna haunt me forever, can someone please tell me what actually happens or even better, post a video of the ending on YouTube or something or have a link to a video/pics of the happy ending somewhere?

I guess we'll never know...

I can only think of responses for a few... Most Knowledgeable Member Of The Year Dante - The GAF messenger, outright winner. Best/Worst Negative Member of 2006 Solitanze, complained more than any other user... Well i'll be, congrats on beating the game, I cleared about 90% of the games objectives but the rest were just too hard for me so I gave up and stopped playing...

Just don't read the scores, then you'll have nothing to worry about. Look at the state societys in, can you really take all these gaming journalists seriously? Just enjoy the game, its just a number, every single reviewer could give this game 10/10, it doesn't mean its a better game, its just a number. Judge the game based on your own personal experiences and emotions as you play it.

Have you actually bothered to read as to why some reviewers are penalising the game? Generally its due to graphics but more so the lack of originality, its not that its BAD as such, its just that there isn't much new. For what it is with being compared to games such as Gears Of War, its done pretty well.

I pretty much agree, its an unproven format with uncertainty in success unlike the greater liklihood of PS3 success due to brand loyalty so the developers current attitudes are "lets test the waters and see how things pan out..."

Brilliant game RE4 was, the only minor gripe is that it ends too soon... Fully deserving of its spot in all time rankings and technically could quite possibly the best game ever made. Pretty darn incredible to have an average of 95.9 after 109 reviews, most games have only one third of RE4s amount of reviews, would they be able to maintain their averages as well as RE4 has, we'll never know... Solitanze, don't worry about the damn scores a number of them are premeditated anyway to conjour up deliberate reactions so its hard to justify the validity of review scores now... Just enjoy the game. Being so concerned about scores will only set you up for disappointment having this fixed idea the game HAS to be perfect and with your extreme analysis of flaws, you'll have a fixed mind set to find problems with the game and thus be denied of having complete satisfaction, then you'll play the blame game and accuse Nintendo of failing to deliver when in fact you have brought upon your own letdown...

Probably won't... I'd like to know whats going to happen with Pennant Chase Baseball, will that be a Wii title?

Gmanprime... You say you completed the game in 53 hours, a lot of people have been completing the game in a lot less than 70 hours some even around the 20 to 30 hour mark. Can you give us a concrete answer as to the actual length of the game. Are their original figures exaggerated, what pace did you play the game, at a slightly faster than normal tempo or just normal? Obviously though the games subject to your own pace, you can rush through it or take your time to complete everything so it should be about what they said right?

WARNING [MAJOR SPOILER] FINAL BOSS DESCRIPTION: [spoiler=] In essence, Ganondorf is the one behind all the events of Twilight Princess. Posing as a god, Ganondorf gives Zant, a Twilight being denied being king (even though was next in line), his powers. He is also the final boss, where he you battle him in 4 stages. First he posseses Zelda, Second you battle his demonic beastly form (Ganon), third you battle on horse back, and finally in close quarters in a sword duel. Your fight takes place in Hyrule castle and Hyrule Field. Finally, Link runs the Master Sword through Ganondorf's chest. His fate is unknown. CONFIRMED.

That wouldn't work as the games appeal to non gamers is those very limitations you mention, making it so easy for anyone to pick up and play the game.

I bet you wouldn't be saying this if their ULTIMATE favorite game franchises [i.E Final Fantasy, Biohazard and Metal Gear Solid] are 100% Nintendo exclusive and not on Sony consoles, in thi case, PS3.

A bulk of the CNET Entertainment Network has an Anti-Nintendo feel about it particularly Gamespot and GameFaqs, how Final Fantasy was voted the best game of all time is beyond me [it is a great game, but certainly not the best of all time]. Look through the gamespot forums. Quite a number of people only consider Twilight Princess to be an 8/10 game and that Jeffs score was too high. But at the end of the day, its my opinion of the game that counts, i'll be buying the game and i'll be playing the game, don't need someone to tell me what I should think of the game and how good it actually is and persides, positive opinions far outweigh negative public opinions of the game anyway.
