Weird. I just bought Dead Space 2 finally after ages of debating it. Loved the first and I've almost maxed it out so time to move on. Hopefully the 3rd will be just as good. Like the idea but I really don't want it to be too much of a copy 'The Thing'.

So you're fighting Skynet this time?

I was one of the few who enjoyed Black Ops. Quite liked the story and it was fun to play. I see your point though, is the endless cycle never going to end. I wouldn't say a sequel was particularly needed. I feel it's all about peddling new multiplayer content through another game. New game = Another bunch of Multiplayer levels = More DLC = MONIES!! I'm sure there are some who enjoy the actual story of CoD. Me, well the Modern Warfare and WW2 games didn't do anything for me.

Tomorrow Never Dies and The World is Not Enough have had games so I wouldn't expect to see them. Screw Die Another Day. I just hope that Eurocom make the guns a bit 'meatier' and less like pea shooters of varying size.
-
Black Ops 2 then?
-
What films could be featured then? The Brosnan films have mostly been done as have Daniel Craigs. Connery possibly Goldfinger. OHMSS maybe. Moore..pff god knows. One of the ones with Jaws maybe The Spy Who Loved Me. Dalton, well I can never remember the difference between his two films.

I enjoyed Goldeneye: Reloaded. It was the best of a bad bunch of recent Bond games. However it did have quite a few flaws and if this carries over I won't be getting it.
-
Loving Fez!! It's just got that awesome old school feel in both presentation and design. I felt I was breezing through until I saw the scope and came across my first real challenge*. I have no idea how the treasure maps work but i'm hoping they'll make more sense as I go on. In short, frigging ace! So theraputic.
-
Yeh that was my point with Reloaded . Imagine leaving it as The One as an actual joke with no purpose after spending the entire of the first 2 films saying the contrary.
-
I respect the fact they want to keep it how they intended and don't want to change it but I still can't get my head around how they're actually happy with it. Let's face it, it's shit and makes no sense. I don't need more clarification on this. It'd be like ending the Matrix trilogy with Reloaded.

They said many times that this wouldn't be the end of Shepard. Does it not even say that in a codex at the end? If so how can we take it as an ending anyway. Like you say this whole thing has backfired as the ACTUAL DLC has been pushed back
-
Thing is the ending can be extended as much as they like but there's one thing that can't be explained until further DLC....I would much rather have an answer to this than the missing parts of the ending.

Just downloaded the new patch. A warning to others. My Xbox isn't recognising the file as being downloaded, yet it is in there somewhere. However the result means I CONSTANTLY get the "downloaded update" message. This will hopefully get fixed but because my Xbox doesn't 'see' it, I can't even delete it. So it's a never ending cycle of Xbox downloads > doesn't see file > downloads again > download complete > repeat. EDIT: Fixed It was an Xbox live issue.

I know people who enjoyed Transformers 3....insane.
-
This. I'm curious if the same people who say they like the ending and to stop 'whining' are the same that have been invested since ME1....
-
Or 'Valve time' where it'd mean April 2030.
-
Now the wait until April...
-
Even if it was just the two of them they're not stupid. Surely they realised how much was wrong with it?
-
Bought a 3DS game with my remaining points. They've sent me a pre-owned copy. I'm not stupid and I know what I ordered. I know they're in the shit but that's no excuse, fobbing me off with 2nd hand goods isn't on.
-
I guess we'll find out in April....probably the 1st.
-
It's pretty crazy how well that Indoctrination theory fits. If it's not the case, I'm still making it my ending.
-
Almost as if they intentionally wanted to piss people off.
-
If they can't understand why the endings are bad in the first place then there's something wrong.
-
Actually made it into BBC news...http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/technology-17444719.

True enough. Bad example. Paul Grayson didn't and he was way further gone than Illusive Man. He's from the books though I don't think many people know him. In terms of DLC though I have no idea what to expect. If it involves extra missions during the single player I probably won't bother as it doesn't effect the ending. Anyone else feeling like that? The sole reason I got the ME1 and 2 DLC was because of how it'd shape the story/ending. I saved it in London near the end but once you complete it your Autosave is before you attack Cerberus. Not checked if I can load my London save yet but I don't see why I can't.
