I havent actually bought a comic in about 2 years, decided to go back to TPBs as comic boxes were taking up too much room and I prefer being able to read the whole story in one go.

JMS has really messed with Spider-Man since he took over. He's made it so Peter was actually chosen by a "Spider Totem" and not just got his powers through an accident. He helped with all the Other bollocks, having Peter give in to his Spider side, die, go into a cocoon, be reborn then have to fight his shedded skin! The worst part of course being Sins Past. Having Peters first love Gwen Stacy have an affair with Norman Osborn then have his twins in the space of 3 months.

I just wish the movies would be able to reflect what kind of fighting style Batman can actually use. I think every live action Batman movie to this point has potrayed him a bit "heavy". You never really see him in more fluid motion like you would in the cartoons etc. I know its a hard thing to show when they want to keep the realism and everything but without showing him properly i'll never like the movies as much as I could. Its the same with barely showing anything about the fact that he is also the greatest detective on the planet. My favourite example of that being in the Superman/Batman animated movie where Batman finds out Supes identity pretty quickly.

Yes but if you get the definition of Superhero: "A figure, especially in a comic strip or cartoon, endowed with superhuman powers and usually portrayed as fighting evil or crime." Batman doesnt have superhuman powers

This is probably why I dont read Batman that much, same with Superman. They dont have enough faults. A character like Spider-man has a lot more problems and is a lot less perfect.

Theres no way they would ever uncover a hidden power that Batman had. Not after this long and the fact that some of his popularity is simply from the fact that hes just human. There would be a very big uproar from fans.

Personally I think Soccer AM has been dead for years. I used to love watching it with my dad but it just seemed to focus less and less on football as it went on and in the end I gave up watching it every week.

I think it is a hard question considering he is more of a vigilante than a superhero. I think from a personal view I would call him a superhero but if you went by the definition of superhero then he isnt: "A figure, especially in a comic strip or cartoon, endowed with superhuman powers and usually portrayed as fighting evil or crime."

I notice all the speculation around where Owen is going has died down. Wonder if that means hes staying at Newcastle or teams are just focussing on better players.

As I said, "I do give him a bit of credit". That doesnt mean hes automatically forgiven for buying and playing crap players like Zenden.

Benitez has signed some crap players, but I do give him a bit of credit with that in the fact that they dont last long if they arent up to par. Kronkamp being my favourite, gone within a few months.

The stupid thing is that we Liverpool fans are usually right, it should be our year after the strong finishes we tend to have in the Premiership (although this year was a weird one with all the weak teams we put out. Its just that we tend to get such crappy starts to seasons and every year we figure it will be different. I mean considering how bad the start to the season was last year we still did well so if we can be more consistant throughout we'll be right up there.

I used to have emulators on my old PSP which was 1.00 firmware. Unfortunately my current one is 2.81 and I need a unpatched version of Liberty City stories to downgrade it.
