Happenstance

I tend to drift between Star Trek TNG and Stargate SG1 as my favourite sci-fi shows, usually just depends which ive been watching most at that time.

I was fine with the scene in the future not being in it because I thought they were holding back for the finale, obviously we didnt really get it in this episode either. Of course it does make more sense this way, Peter knows how to use some of his powers but he is still mastering them. If he had full control of everything straight away in Volume 1 then the character might be less interesting and we'd just be waiting for everytime he absorbs a new power.

I thought it was great to see her participate in the end battle, although I did think it would be Peter was going to absorb her power and beat Sylar senseless. I was happy aswell that 2 of my predictions came true for the finale, Nathans role and Nikki having the strength aswell (although that one was pretty obvious)

Thinking about it more, im happy Parkman to survive. I never really liked or disliked the character but I am interested in seeing if his power will evolve at all into anymore than just mind reading.

I think Kewell deserves to stay, I know hes been injured all season but from what I saw of him in the last few games he was looking really promising. Personally id like to see Bellamy and Sissoko go.

Just ready the BBC Sport site, apparently Benitez is planning on making wholesale changes to the Liverpool squad over the summer. Even if we do manage to win the Champions League. Wonder who it'll be that gets the chop.

Of course she needs the claws! And then of course the yellow and black costume. I wonder if her healing power will be revealed to be like Wolverines so she'll live a lot longer than a normal human aswell. I know some people would complain that its just copying him again but it does make sense.

I wonder in a few seasons time we'll see them actually starting to train more etc. I mean Claire has a lot of potential but at the moment shes still pretty weak.

Im debating whether to say Gantz or not... Has anyone seen Tengen Toppa Gurren-Lagann and if so is it any good or not? Im in the mood for something new to watch and I thought it looked promising. Watched the first episode of Noein last night, was very confused.

Just about to watch the 400th episode now aswell, supposed to be another good one from what ive heard.

I know its really gone downhill over the past few years but I still tend to watch the new episodes and was just wondering if anyone else does? Just finished watching their 24 episode which had Keifer Sutherland in it and I thought it was really good. Not actually sure which I prefer between this and the South Park 24 parody this year but actually having Keifer Sutherland do voice overs and them having their own version of CTU helped a lot. Did anyone else see it?

Id say my main problem is that I only really have one friend now who is into football and of course you are much more likely to go to a match if you are with a mate. Of course the one friend interested in football supports Man U so whenever we try to sort out going to see a match we get into an argument about which ground to go to.

I dont think thats really fair. These days I only really get to see Liverpool on the tv, I dont have much money to spare and I do other things on the weekends so I wouldnt be able to go to matches. I dont think this doesnt make me a supporter. Last game I went to I think was at Anfield, Dec 2005 with my dad. We used to have season tickets years ago but it go too expensive to get them every year so we had to leave it.

Im a Liverpool supporter and I do hate hearing all this stuff about fans who dont live near the team they are supporting. Yes of course you get the people who latch on as soon as teams start getting success, in school I remember it was Man U and now its Chelsea. My family has lived in Liverpool for years, it was only just before I was born that it changed. I was brought up to support Liverpool. When I was younger , about 12-14 id say, I had some older guy who new my friend complain and almost shout at me for about half an hour saying that I was a glory supporter because I said I supported Liverpool. He didnt bother to ask why I supported them or if I had family there etc. Thats why I dont really have time for this kind of stuff, it goes way too far and people just dont care anymore.

I usually just find some old show to watch over the summer or something that id never heard of before. I think last year it was Aqua Teen Hunger Force.

If you read, I didnt say Heroes wasnt Sci-Fi :p Just not the type of sci-fi I was looking for. Plus I already watch it. Yeah Firefly is really good, just a damn shame it was cancelled!

Oh yeah Red Dwarf is another one I should have added to my list, love that show.

Unfortunately I do think she will end up dying. I expect that character development we got for her last episode was to give her eventual death more meaning.

I do hope Candice survives to next season, she really grew on me in this weeks episode.

Ive got the first Ghost In The Shell movie and I watched the first episode of Stand Alone Complex, didnt really like either to be honest. As for BSG, I think its alright but theres just something about it that I cant put my finger on. Plus I didnt like the fact that at the start of season 3 they promoted the use of a suicide bomber.

Yeah I used to have a mate at school who absolutely loved Babylon 5, he even used to trade the videos with our old Science teacher, which we all found weird.
