Happenstance

Its a shame Monster Hunter Generations came out so recently. I bet a Monster Hunter launch title would be a great way to show off what the NX is all about and get excited about the console. People being able to play their handheld MH that they love and then being able to carry on playing on the big screen like a lot of people have been wanting.

I loved my DS and while the 3DS has given me quite a bit of enjoyment, I'd agree that it's never really hit the same heights.

So back to the NX. What do we think could potentially happen if it was another failure for the company? They are basically merging their failing side (home console) with the more successful (handheld). Could this damage the reputation of their handheld division or is it strong enough that they could go back to a dedicated handheld if things went down the crapper?

*Sigh* He moans when people are too negative in the Nintendo section. People feel the need to move elsewhere to carry on conversation and he just follows. He doesn't want to talk about Nintendo, he just wants to moan.

Got to admit, at the moment I would rather watch that movie than the actual Justice League one.

No I decided to wait until it gets a decent discount on Steam.

Both the 3DS and the Wii U were consoles I bought at launch, sold quite early on and then bought again later. I never learn.

I dont think they care all that much now. I do get what you mean but having one in the same month all your fans have been pinning their hopes on getting NX news just seems off. @Hero\-of\-Time's response is how I expect a lot of responses to be.

This just seems really poorly timed given how much people want info on the NX.

Have you played Persona 4?

I just worry that my usual "buy anything new" mentality will rear its ugly head when the NX comes out just like it did with the Wii U and I'll end up with a console I dont really want.

Which console is it that has the nipple button? I want one of those for the NX share button. EDIT: I'm still at work so am too scared to google "Nipple button"

Onto what??? Bloody thing still hasnt been announced! :p At the moment I seem to bounce between actually interested in getting an NX and just curiosity on what it will be. I expect its based on which theory I read that day.

Only time I ever feel like motion controls are worthwhile is when I'm playing in VR, any other time I would always rather play with a controller or keyboard & mouse.

I think we have to remember as well the shitstorm at the start of this generation with gamers complaining about Xbox One games being 900p when PS4 games were 1080p. It may not matter to some people but it matters to enough that if those complaints start coming then its a lot of bad press, as Microsoft saw.

Did the leaks mention what kind of hard drive/storage the NX will be using?
