Except Mike and Jerry have said frequently that they have no wish for PAX to become the next E3. I suspect a point would come where they'd stop letting certain companies attend if it was becoming too much like E3.

I never read NOM - I didn't have any Nintendo consoles back then. I don't care that the magazine doesn't have up-to-date news, I read other gaming mags and they all suffer from that problem. The way to overcome it is good writing and interesting articles, something PC Gamer and Edge achieve but ONM seemed to have no concept of in the two issues I read. Even the official 360 magazine has more real content instead of just reeling off the official press releases about each game. That said, 10 pages about BWii does sound like a lot - fair play to them if they managed to get some decent content. I just won't be buying the magazine again. If I'm desperate for paper-based Nintendo text I'll pick up NGamer.

I don't know about the Wii controller, but when I played Twilight Princess the horse controlled fine.

I agree with McMad - we are surely past the point in games where we have lovely buildings and hills which are simply fancy fences to hold the player on their path.

I really hope we get a Wii pod in work, and that they are widespread in general. Nintendo needs the public to be able to try the Wii before they pay for a console which is so different to the current crop.

Sorry, as soon as ONM had the Leon Kennedy silhouette as "Next Month!" and then had nothing about Resi Wii the following issue I knew it was a rag. Their "readers weren't meant to be able to identify the character, it could have been anyone" excuse was complete bullshit - they clearly thought they were going to get an exclusive and jumped the gun. That the writing is so childish and fanboyish (yes I know it's the official mag) it's sickening to read.

AFAIK Gamestation is waiting for a release date, then expect to see Wii marketing stuff in their shops very quickly. And the GAME in town here were indeed letting people just buy the console if they pre-ordered (unlike Toys 'R' Us who famously required the customers add shit launch titles in order to get the console they'd pre-ordered). However, the few 360's they had available on the shelves were in ridiculously bad bundles and they wouldn't let people buy them without. I believe this was the management of that store being arseholes and not a GAME policy though.

No perfect 10's? You don't know that. And to be the Best Zelda Game ever doesn't mean it needs near-perfect reviews. It needs to be fun - something I'm discovering OoT is often not.

Friends Codes suck. Nintendo need a more robust system for Wii online. This is a big worry for me, but then I remember that even single-player and offline multiplayer should be awesome.

I doubt he's told about everything happening at every store in the country - there are a good 260 in the UK. Plus I'm not going to post here about it before it's made public, I have no desire to risk my job revealing some big company secret (just in case it's something big like that).

The Xbox 360 can be region-free - most games are not however. PS3 AFAIK will be region locked like the PS2.

Yeah, that's the 32" HD WS Samsung that I've heard a lot of people talking about - mainly because of the price. Think that's the cheapest I've seen it though.
