In fact, I'm on right now, on PC though. I'm doing the hard 8 (impossible) mutation. Steam nick: Nat_King_Cole

You'll have to wait for Maddog for the official results, but if I've been keeping my records correctly: - Moogleviper: 7 votes (bandwagon leader: ReZourceman) - ReZourceman: 3 votes (bandwagon leader: Moogleviper) - Diageo 1 vote (bandwagon leader: Dyson) - Dannyboy-the-Dane: 1 doublevote (bandwagon leader: Tellyn)

I'm not going to rely on my own memory :P, but I was reminded of the following after some googling: Deus Ex Giants citizen Kabuto (a whole cutscene, I hope you don't mind, but you have to watch it all . that game was great. I'll have to replay it soon).

Hmm that may be an issue, but I don't think it will be a problem.. Simply more people have to vote to actually reach majority. If it has been reached, the to-be-lynched has some convincing to do, because eventhough he's alive at that point, he'll be dead at the deadline if he other people don't withdraw their vote.

I'm more in favour of shorter days and nights, and with set length determined in advance, but I think 24 hours is too short. 'm one of those "not so busy" people, but even for me it's easy to miss just one day. Saturday I decided to give my DS some attention again.. Before I knew it, the day was over and I went to bed. I think I was on a bit in the afternoon, but nothing had really happened I believe. The next day it was clear I missed the actual lynching in the DIY mafia, eventhough I did get my vote in on Friday. I think it should be at least 2 days for a dayphase, perhaps even 3 to accomodate the "busy" people, but 2 at least. The nightphase should be 1 or 2 days. The way I see it, 3 days for a dayphase, 2 days for a nightphase, when 50% of the players are gone, 2 days for a dayphase, and 1 day for a nightphase. I'm also in favour of set deadlines, and not starting the nightphase when a majority has been reached. When you say when the day ends on 00:00 CET (for example), don't go end it early, this gives the one to be lynched time to explain and perhaps convince others to withdraw/change their vote. Now, if someone usually is online in the evning or at night, like me, not now obviously in this case, but usually, it's possible the majority already got someone lynched before he/she got to explain the situation. Anyway, my thoughts as a newbie player.

No I'm not satisfied, but it's just my one vote, so I won't be able to do anything with it this turn, unless other people think the same way as me. Like I said, Moogle may or may not have a hidden agenda, but I don't immediately see him as a threat, and I believe his powers, as they coincide with the theories I already had of them. They always work together, so his revealing his power to be collectively shared amongst his allies doesn't come as a surprise. As for the shapeshifter, I really think it's more likely to be someone who changes other people's appearance rather than his/her own, but regardless, this obviously is a great way to set up a situation where you can frame someone else, in this case Moogle. The shapeshifter changes someone's or his/her own appearance, another mafia member can claim to be the disguised person without the actual person refuting this, thus giving him/her an alibi. See, I do believe ReZ has is a doughnut, and I do believe he has this ring ability, and I believe he simply hasn't used his ability in order to create this setup with his fellow friends. If I'm wrong, I'm pretty sure the setup itself exists and someone else is having a laugh right now, and taking massive advantage of the situation. I do find it strange though, you say you're a doughnut, but you stated in the beginning the ringshaped thing was your ability, not you yourself. Also, I'm still very confident you haven't explained all of your ability. But again, for now, it's just 1 vote against, 7 or so?

Since I can't edit my post, I'm going to double post. I made some edits to my original post since it didn't look like it got posted the first time with the forum acting strange. The addition to my above post: I'd love to be proven wrong though, but seeing how the votes stand, this may be soon enough. And I do think we have someone either changing his/her own appearance or those of others, possibly framing them. I think perhaps the green haired woman from night 1 has something to do with this, who hasn't appeared since.

Well, I think ReZ is way to agressive with the attacking, while Moogle is doing everything to defend himself, albeit without giving up his partner. To be honest, everything Moogle said, has made some sense to me, the way their collective power works given that they always appear together. This makes sense with my theories about them which I've posted in my break-downs. Other things seem to make sense too, at least to me. That said, everything ReZ claims about himself just sounds very confusing. That's probably what you get for suggesting such a ridiculous character (because him being a doughnut is something I do believe). Moogle may have some hidden agenda (i.e. a seperate win condition), but I don't think this will prevent townies from winning (too). In the write-ups, the trio never appears to do actual harm, which can't be said about ReZ. Personally, I don't think neutrals should have any priority for lynching unless it's very clear in the write-up that they're dangerous, which it isn't. Vote: ReZourceman Also, I find Cube very suspicious, even when he has been targeted by the long haired man. I mean, you're an investigator, you say ReZ is evil, I mean, as an investigator, your reports are actual hard evidence. Yet he walks away from it like it's nothing pretty quickly, only to jump on the bandwagon your prime suspect started. Sounds like some grand mafiasheme, targeting eachother. If I make it through the night, Cube is next on my list, unless Zell comes along posting what he's got.
-
Me too, I'm going to bed, and I want to hear from Zell first. Also, I still think ReZ is suspicious, he's not telling everything. I think there's even more to his ability than what he's already mentioned, but he could start by explaining why exactly he's interested in jayseven's ability, since he found the thief thing to be very interesting. Maybe he can copy powers as well.
-
Meh, the devil doesn't necessarily have to be regarded as evil (well, watch Bedazzled to see what I mean to give a weird example ), in fact, both being neutral sounds plausible to me.
-
No one at the moment, although I'm still very suspicious of you, even though there doesn't seem to be some hard evidence (or any even) at the moment. Ooh I love to read Maddog's role decsription at the end of this. Anyway, like I said before, we can wait for Zell to reveal who the long haired guy is, who definitely needs to be lynched.
-
Hmmz, nothing extra to mention then. Oh well. What I do wonder though, why we need so many investigators? Are 2 investigators for town common? You are one, Cube is one, and well, the trio are, who may or may not be town at the moment (well the 2 who are left). Anyway, neutrals are not my priority, that's why I'm not hopping on Moogle's bandwagon.
-
I'm not hopping on this bandwagon just yet. Maybe they're both right, and some mafia abilities are getting us all confused. In the meantime, I'd like to know who Dyson targeted night 2, and what Ellmeister has on Diageo. Just to hopefuloly get some pieces from a larger puzzle, that's all.
-
Moogleviper, can you explain why you don't show up on night 2 and 3 alongside your friends? You targeted me night 1, but I'm not mentioned. Night 2 you are nowhere to be seen? What did you do night 2? Who did you (the 3 of you) target?
-
Hmm, 2 oppossing evil teams? One consisting of 4 members? Anyway, I don't like random voting, so I'll make a habit of doing the no lynch thing day 1. Vote: no lynch
-
Jigglypuff is awesome you hear! Rest is the most hardcore move in the game :p.
-
Post them in the thread :p.
-
You'll have to give us more than that though.
-
The initial write-up asks "who will they back?" It's possible this is determined by the player they choose. Maybe Maddog described jayseven as "unknown" becuase of the nature of the 2 neutrals. moogleviper would be the man dressed in white from the other nights, and his partner the devil.
-
That would make you and your partner the 2 combined forces from the initial write-up. Which would make you 2 at least not mafia if it is true. But can you make your partner stop confusing everyone? :P
-
Eventhough very true, there's absolutely no hint in the write-up of night 1 that you investigated me. I assumed I wasn't targeted so far.
-
He targeted Diageo the fisrt 2 times We could lynch him, if he is evil, ReZ is cleared. But is ReZ is good, then I don't know what to think of Cube.
-
Maybe Ellmeister can share what else he's got, but I'm inclined to hop on the Diageo bandwagon. ReZ is suspicious, but perhaps another night can verify his claims. I'll hold my vote for now, but not for long.

I'll sign up, and I want beige if possible :P If I sign-up in all of the planned ones, I may have enough experience to try hosting one myself? I have some ideas of my own, theme and gameplay wise.
