My first playthrough on Switch is a pyromancer with some sorcery. I guess that will always be my "main" character, it's what I used before, and probably what I'll use in DS 2. But I haven't finished the game with her (yet (again)). I did finish the game with a new character, a pretty straight forward strength based melee character. I'll definitely go back one day to finish the game with my first character, and try out other ones as well.

Did you read all the orange messages in the asylum? They usually indicate online player messages, but some of them , especially there, are from the devs. There they function as tutorial messages. I'm prett sure they explain all the basics that way, but we can help you out as well. If you want.

No I have a different tune from the soundtrack each time. I was thinking, lets sets the tune for some of the stages! Did the first normal stage, the Mario one from Smash 64, and I was going through the tracks.. "Ah, I like this one! This one too, no not this one.". Then I realized I wasn't even halfway, so I gave up.. Of course, other stages will be easier to select tracks for (like the FF 7 stage ). Apart from the theme, I also have K. Rool's boss theme in my head, and the Brain Training theme (I wasn't familiar with it before). And others will pop up as well. Edit: Ah, it's not Brain training. I'll see which one it is I'm talking about. Edit: It's this one: Also, they announced a spirit event, with exclusive spirits showing up at set times, and spirits wearing glasses showing up more than usual in general.

That's why I prefer the spirit board. Instant gratification.

I did that gym with mostly my Butterfree which I got from the beginning.

I still need Doom Guy. With Doom Eternal coming out, and Doom even being 25 years old.. Should've been a no-brainer. Somehow I think it's unlikely. I got the Chorus Kids! Also I forgot to mention.. Jigglypuff's classic mode is pretty fun for those who've been there since the 64 days. It's really classic mode. Only Smash 64 characters and stages (apart from the bonus stage), and boss is I have gotten various bosses now by the way, in classic mode, regardless of score / intensity I think. But none so special as Link's boss.

Katamari Damacy: 5 seconds after booting up: BEST GAME EVER. 5 seconds after actually starting the game: WORST GAME EVER. I'm exaggerating, but the controls (which don't get explained in the demo) got on my nerves. Had to Google them. After that, I can see I can get used to them, but with so many games out this month.. Rolling a ball (unintuitively) while picking up garbage just isn't really doing it for me. I do love the quirky Japanse style, but the gameplay just isn't interesting. Quarantine Circular shadow dropped 2 days ago, or was it yesterday? I loved the story of the prvious game, so I downloaded this one straight away. With a physical release announcement for Celeste I can postpone that one, I intended to get one in the Christmas sale.

I may be addicted to the spirit board. I've been doing little else. I've only cleared classic with a few characters (while I've unlocked quite a few in the meantime), I have done only a couple online games (though that's also because I'm scared ), and I have barely touched World of Light. I just love waiting to see if anything familiar pops up, then try to fight it to add it to my collection. Some of the set-ups are hilarious. Probably most of them, but I'm not familiar with a lot of them, wish they explained the details of the set-up with some background info though.. And tons more I already forgot. While I love doing them, I also hate that they remind me certain games need sequels (or Switch ports) and certain characters need to be in Smash as more than a trophy spirit. Chibi of course.. Needs both a sequel and a Smash invitation. Another Code, Baten kaitos, Golden Sun, Magical Vacation, Disaster: day of crisis and Eternal Darkness all need sequels. Baten Kaitos and to lesser extent Golden Sun can also easily offer a character for the Smash roster. The miscellaneous catagory in the spirits list (everything at the end) is seriously a bit depressing to look at in that regard. Anyway, I finally got my first legend spirit yesterday, Mecha Fiora. Maybe she'll help me with some of the tougher spirit challenges.

For anyone interested, that is, anyone who's never has played Katamari Damacy before, and is not busy playing Smash, there is a demo out.

Always that one guy.. Shoutout to @Clownferret a.k.a. "Mr. youtube guy". That fucking camera man. Also Sheik.. To be honest I had no real preference for any of those 3. Purely because I love Chibi. Got him from the one of two amiibos I own (also scanned poochie). And yeah it seems to be random. My "first boot-up present" was a guy named Gangrel. But I keep using Chibi now i have him, even though the game complains a lot about having a disadvantage. I have checked out most of the stuff yesterday.. Did classic mode with Samus (confirms I'm not good enough for a real boss apparently), had a few fun online battles with @martinist @LazyBoy & @Tim B, did a little bit of World of Light (though I prefer unlocking characters with those random battles that pop-up), did a few spirit challenges, and one of those 100 enemies challenges. Just now I checked out the music player mode and created a playlist. It works! Still haven't unlocked Jigglypuff sadly. I'll go try some more classic mode, and I'll probably be online tonight for some more ehm, online games.

I'll do a few more, but then I'll go back to dingle player to unlock stuff.
