My old project was based in St Paul's and the lunch options were spectacular. So much choice. I would also buy a ridiculous amount of half price Itsu whenever I worked late. Current project is in West London and the food options aren't so great. I'm already getting bored of Tesco sandwiches, not sure how I'm going to cope for another six months [/firstworldproblems].

If I may, I'll extend this laptop analogy. Laptops were originally considered niche, but are now very widely used, since they have evolved to an extent where, from a functional perspective, people do not use them fundamentally differently to that of a desktop computer. The work I do on a laptop is no different to the work I do on a desktop. They have exactly the same functionality and purpose, only difference is that I can put my laptop in my bag and carry it around with me. Desktops of course will always have a niche because extra power is necessary for certain activities. Switch is to laptops as PS4 is to desktops. Personally, if I buy a Switch, I would see myself mostly using it in its docking station hooked up to my TV. So for me, it would primarily be a home console that I could transport, rather than a portable console that I could also stream to my TV. Anyway, it's all semantics. What's important is how they market the thing, and how they push it in terms of their software output.

Admit it, if they ever released a Mario Cricket you would snap it up. I can imagine it now. A Mushroom Kingdom touring XI playing cricket on Isle Delfino. Luigi valiantly building an innings against aggressive fast bowling from Wario. Donkey Kong keeping wicket, sledging from Waluigi, Toadsworth umpiring, Peach and Daisy preparing the teas... Would be a real system seller I reckon.

From the camera angle and the seemingly linear nature of the level, it gave me a Crash Bandicoot vibe more than anything. My preference would be a 64/Sunshine style 3D Mario, but would be interested to see if they take it in a different direction.

Sorry, Saturday morning is also fine with me and can do any time Sunday.

I'm available to Raid on Saturday. Last couple of times I've been using Nova Bomb to take down the Captains. They go down in one hit. No nonsense, plus you get to save heavy ammo for the boss. I'm at the end of the Dark Drinker quest (just need to do the Strike) so hopefully I can get that at some point to try out in the Raid. I've been using Sleeper to DPS the bosses, but it lacks the overall utility of a Gjallarhorn or an exotic sword.

Would be up for Raiding. Could do tonight if we get a team, otherwise I'm reasonably free the rest of the week.

There really isn't much hype around the NX outside of the internet gaming community, mostly because Nintendo haven't unveiled anything. We don't even know what the NX is, apart from it's the next big Nintendo thing. It's difficult to get hyped about a hypothetical "something". For all we know (which are rumours and speculation), Nintendo could have put a halt to the whole project. Maybe someone at Nintendo thought that releasing a hybrid console would be a shit idea. Not saying that's the case, but you would have thought that we would have heard something by now if they're supposed to be releasing in March.

I massively cocked up my preparations by overspending on one player. I've got a decent enough squad now, but have had no money to train players... The Baggies look very strong at this stage, although your squad looks more LA Galaxy than West Brom!

What are people's thoughts on this compared to the first game? Better/worse? Really enjoyed the first game so will probably pick this up at some point.

Will be around also! Yeah, we've had a tough old time with Trials this weekend. A combination of being out of practice and also facing some very good teams. Worth doing for the loot though. Gold tier resets each day and is relatively quick to complete. We also got to 7 wins so managed to get a weapon. Still a long way off Lighthouse at this point but I'm hopeful of getting there again at some point! Still working on what my optimal loadout should be. I'm loving The Palindrome and think it works well with a sniper. Hawksaw and Mida are probably the better choices when running shotgun.

Wouldn't mind starting it tonight if people are around! Four people 360+ and two people 350+ should be good enough to start the Raid. Should also mention @Map who's been playing and I think is over 350.

This is purely anecdotal, but the people I know who I would to label "casual gamers" still own old generation systems. One of them was recently bemoaning the fact that the new South Park game was not coming out on Xbox 360 and only releasing on the "new" consoles. I would also add that CoD and FIFA have very broad appeal. They are played casually but also have substantial hardcore followings. I don't see how they're that different to Smash Bros or Mario Kart is terms of their appeal and the types of gamers that buy them.

So where is everyone at when it comes to their LL? Me - 362 @DriftKaiser - 365 @Sheikah - 365? @Eddage - 342? @MilaGi - 346? @Daft - 336? @Deathjam - ? @Shorty - 335? Shall we aim for Saturday afternoon to start the raid? If so, we need to be targeting 360 LL by then. I know that Daft said he could be dropping out, so that would leave @Shorty or @Deathjam to fill the spot if you can get up to the required LL in time. Would also depend on everyone's availability of course, but just wanted to put Saturday as a target date. Could even start the raid sooner if people are ready in time! Thoughts?

Would say Tuesday is sensible as there's a bit of grinding to do to get up to the required LL. Not sure what the minimum is but would say people should aim for 350 minimum since I'm guessing the final part of the raid will be 370.
