If you're air-dodging then you're not actually attacking, you might be confused. An easy way to check if you're L cancelling is to use Link's down air into the ground. If you dont L-cancel, Link will take about half a second to pull his sword out before he can move again. You need to L cancel before you hit the ground. If you pull it off the difference will be noticable: Link will have pulled his sword out almost straight away. Remember L cancelling is used when you hit the floor whilst doing an aerial. L-cancelling can be difficult to learn but it will be worth it. Just keep practicing with your main character as each character has different timings... keep practicing and you will get better! Although since you say you keep air dodging, do you mean you're finding wavedashing hard?

Sephiroth>ALL!!!! It was just that battle with sephiroth against that dragon in the flashback... I immediately fell in love. In a similar way, you can also say Seifer from FF8. He was a villain but wasnt really a bad guy with bad intentions. The scene at the end, when you see a happy seifer... it made you feel happy for him, even if he was against you throughout the game. Oh yeah, and he kept calling Zell "chicken wuss."

My favourite zelda overworld theme is the one from the Link's Awakening... it was the 1st zelda game i ever played, and that tune still brings back memories.

Was there any real point in a story ?

Ive never actually fought about how they will make the partcipents agree on what rules and settings they want to play with. First of all, things like special melee would probably be out the picture, so there wont be any disputes about wanting to do "single button" melee. Since stock is more popular, most battles will probably stock battles, with stock set to a sensible amount (4, 5 or 6). There might also be a stock match time limit to prevent matches lasting too long. There will probably be an option where you could choose if you wanted to play with or without items (that would make people happy), 2 or 4 player etc, and then be set the appropriate server. And a win loss record would be nice.

Not about the forum but the actual site... each bit of news has a hyperlink to the article in its title, but for reviews and features you have to click the smaller link below it to access it. Can you fix this so that the title on the homepage links to the article, so i dont have to move my mouse down to the smaller link (so much effort)? From the intial tv adverts, i got the impression that the gamecube was massive anyway (having never actually laying eyes on one up until then) so the whole small and sleek design didnt really come across to everyone. Oh and why the handle? WHY? Did you expect me to carry it down the street?

I hated the friday night project... I also hate that **** Justin Lee Collins. Lvl 9s aren't particually brilliant because you can simply exploit their poor AI. There are a couple of great videos that can really help you improve your game: These can help you learn advanced techniques, but improving is simply a matter of practice fighting your mates. I bet you didnt know then that that invisibility power up you avoid at all costs stops you taking damage. The nintendog powerup will most like be an item like a dog biscuit. It should be disguised with all the food powerups so that the player is made to pick it up accidently.
